Dart was not very pleased by the answer. Very much less, he couldn't comprehend someone not knowing who Albert was. He slowly rose to his feet, grumbling along the way. Brushing himself off, he tried moving his left arm, covered by his armor connected to his torso, but hissed a bit in pain, his arm remaining limp and grumbled under his breath, "Damn...feels like it's broken..."

He tried moving it, but could only move his lower arm somewhat upwards. He still retained some control of his fingers, grasping them along the handle of his sword, though it somewhat hurt to do so. Moving his shoulder and upper arm felt impossible and he could almost feel the displacement of the ball and fractures along his collar-bone. Hot numbness seethed through them and he bit his lip a bit, not unaccustomed to this kind of pain, but certainly didn't find it enjoyable.

"No...of course not..." He almost half growled, "The hole was eating everything...don't you remember? It couldn't have been that long a--"

He stopped mid-breathe as he looked around him, seeing the outskirts surrounding Gotham City and his eyes widened. The black hole that was eating his world was in the middle of wasteland, nowhere near anywhere civilized or constructed and the buildings he saw looked so foreign. Focusing now, the sounds he heard and the lights that dotted about the buildings and streets overwhelmed him, for they were so alien to him. This was very much not his world.

"--go......where...where is this?"

"You're in Gotham, silly." the child replied. As though it should have been more than obvious where the man had landed. "Can't you tell by the shiny bright lights, polished modern buildings, and streets so clean you could eat off of them?" she said with sarcasm practically dripping from her tone. The buildings were old, some with gargoyles still perched on the ledges. There were lights everywhere, but some that looked as though they were on the last bit of energy they had, and others that could only reach the entrance of the building they sat in front of, leaving the alleys as dark as the smoggy sky above. And the streets... not so clean.

"You're reeeeaaaally not from around here, are you Mister?" the little girl asked, carefully tilting her head back and forth. Looking over the man's rather interesting choice of a costume. She'd never seen someone choose to have a sword and armor before. Most of the costume get-ups were just bullet proof or that skin-hugging spandex that only a super hero would be able to pull off in public.

"I guess not..." Dart softly spoke in reply, looking at the clearly unclean, drab and darkened streets as well as the gargoyles that hung overhead. He took a few steps towards the middle of the street, darkness in no sense encumbering the lit street, but only just. He then looked back at her, unsure of what to really think of any of this and his eyes drew notice to some paper along the ground. Using his only good hand at the moment, he crouched down and picked up the wet newspaper, seeing the writing scribbled upon it and the faded picture.

It was an article about small groups of radicals in the city taking to riots and complaints for the recent influx of supers coming into the cities, protesting for the government to act on these citings and to do something about them. Statements from various officials giving varied opinions that all flew mostly over Dart's head, not recognizing any names, places or things that were being talked about in the paper, though a few things stood out, like the mention of a "bat man" and a billionaire Bruce Wayne giving few, seemingly cryptic comments on the business.

He walked slowly over to the girl, partially in soreness and in puzzlement, showing her the paper, "Do you know where I can find this man? He seems like a close thing to nobility here...I need to find him to try and make sense of things. I am clearly not from here...or perhaps...not from today..." He looked around as he paused, his mind ticking at horrible strings in this mind, wondering if this was an alternate Endiness he had ended up in...or was it the future?

The girl looked at the paper for a moment, then back up at him. Her bright eyes furrowed in puzzlement once more. "You mean Bruce Wayne? The guy who owns just about anything he wants in this city?" she asked, as though it should have been more than obvious where one might find Bruce Wayne. "I think he owns a great big mansion outside of the city. Sort of by the beach. Other than that your guess is as good as mine. Try some place they're having a business meeting, or a party or something I guess." She'd certainly never come across the man before. There was never very much on him unless he was hosting something or funding something.

The girl sighed gently, then shifted the doll in her hands over onto her hip. Her free arm bent and crossed over her chest to wrap around her other arm. A sort of akward arm cross with the doll still in her arms. "So where are you from, mister? You definitely aren't from around here. I'm not from around here either, and I even know who Mister Wayne is."

Dart thought on her words for a moment. It was at least a start in the right direction and it seems his assertion was correct of his nobility. Albert was much the same, so he hoped that this Bruce would know where to find Albert or, at the very least, help him figure out what happened or where this was. Nothing here seemed familiar, not even the structure of buildings was like those of home. Everything was different. Even the moon, as his eyes gazed up towards the heavens to see the glowing orb rest, where his world was without it.

"I think...I may be from a different world than your's. In my world, a mad Wingly by the name of Melbu Frahma, tried to use the power of our moon to resurrect an old God to destroy our world. I and my friends defeated him at the cost of our moon falling to the earth and the death of close companions. Almost ten years later, a vortex of some sort opened where our moon used to be and threatened to swallow our world. I was tasked with closing it."

His eyes flickered from side to side as his mind retraced it's steps, from using the Divine Dragoon to try and force it shut but seemingly made it worse. The horrible feeling of his atoms being split that, at that moment made his body quake and snapping into this new reality in what felt like seconds of time.

"I'm...not sure if I succeeded or failed. My power seemed to make it worse and it swallowed me. The next thing I remember is falling out from your sky..."

The child looked up at him for a long, silent moment after he had finished speaking. Her bottom lip pursed out in thought, and her head tilted towards her shoulder. "That's... quite a story, mister." she said slowly. Her tone filled with a sort of puzzled interest. "Haven't heard of anything like that before. We've always had a moon up in the sky. Don't think we've ever had a... vortex or... wingly thing here."

This was definitely a strange one... not that she minded strange. Not one bit. Strange was fun. Strange was exciting. And going to the Wayne Manor might also be fun and exciting. Oh yes... such a rich man would surely have a well decorated and expensive house to explore around in.

A small grin formed around the girls lips, and she tilted her head back up straight. "I'm sure Mister Wayne knows lots of people in Gotham. Even people outside the city. He owns boats and planes... I bet he goes on vacation whenever he wants to."

Dart scratched at his head, ruffling his brown, messy locks as he pondered it over. He did need to find Bruce and if he seemed as what his instinct and what this girl was telling him, he seemed like one of the more viable options for him to figure things out. With that, he nodded his head, "I wouldn't doubt it...well then, thanks for the information. If you could point me in the general area where you said his mansion was, I'd best start heading over there. The sooner I can figure things out, the better..."

He tried stretching his left arm once more and grumbled somewhat, the pain dulled, certainly, but not gone. Hot numbness encumbered his shoulder and he could clearly now feel the displacement of the bone from it's socket. He motioned for her to wait for a moment with his right hand as he walked to utmost corner of the alley. He tapped the flat side of his hand against the wall, testing it and once he saw it was solid and firm, he positioned the left side of his body parallel to the corner, his right a step past the wall itself.

He took a few deep and then several short breathes to relax and than pump himself, building his will. He counted downwards from his head to three, and when he hit one, he fully sent the left side of his shoulder into the wall, smashing himself and his shoulder against it. He bellowed in a painful roar, his facial expression scrunching in on itself, redness coming to his face from the pain. As he tried moving his shoulder, an audible ~POP~ resounded from it and relief coursed through his demeanor, his eyes closing with his lips left agape, carefully testing all around the range of motion in his arm.

"Th-there...now I'm ready to find this, Mr. Wayne."

The child glanced around the street as the man retreated for a bit. Honestly she wasn't sure where the Wayne mansion was herself. She could probably tell him where the beach was and let him look around from there.

She jumped when she heard the man scream out in pain, and whipped her head around to find him. She watched him with wide eyes for a long moment, realizing just what he had done. Then... a small, rather amused smile curled around her lips. "Ow. Did you really just do that by yourself? That probably hurt a lot. Might have been easier to just go and see a doctor. At least get some pain killers first."

Dart smirked somewhat, although he wasn't sure what a painkiller was, obviously it is a form of remedy in this world and he shook his head, "It'll only hurt for a while...it was a simple thing to fix, something I've had to do once or twice in my travels. Being a warrior, you have to work without the convenience of a doctor..."

He watched her for a moment, unsure really what to make of her. He couldn't put his finger on it, but she didn't seem like a typical young girl. Something here was different but he had to pay it little mind, instead focusing on his problem at hand.

"Now then...shall you join me or should I be sure you get home safely? These streets don't look safe for one as young as you seem to be."

The little girl's smile faded a bit as she looked up at him. She looked away from him and nervously down at the ground. "Actually... I've sort of been looking for home for quite some time now. Mister Wayne seems like the sort of guy that could help me find home. Or... where my Mom is anyway." she said, then looked back up at him. "Could I come with you? I won't bother you or anything. Promise."

It was the truth. She didn't have any idea where Gossamer was at right now, or where she was even staying at.

Dart softly smiled, more than happy to bring her along and he nodded, "If he is kind enough to help a sojourner such as I, he's sure to give assistance to such a young girl like you..."

He then looked around the alley and the darkness around them, his eyes looking around for threats. While he was certain he could protect her if need be, he did not want to put her into needless harm. He should assure her utmost safety if he could not help her. His mind clicked and while it would certainly be flamboyant, anyone smart enough for their own good wouldn't cross him. He just hopped his mansion was close. Maintaoning Dragoon form outside of combat was taxing for him.

He smiled and moved his hand to the buckle of his belt. To it's right side was a circular pouch of stitched leather secured by metal fastens. He undid them, freeing the leather lid that snapped open and pulled out a large, perfect sphere that was as big as his the palm of his hand and this ball was made of what seemed like flawless clear crystal, but it was not clear for long.

As soon as his fingers had touched it and it was in open view, emerald green energy began to shine from it's core and made an audible sound, the sound like a mystical note unknown to any instrument. The light grew until the it was like a small beacon in the alley, illuminating their presence with it and he spoke softly to her, "Don't be afraid. This power is good, the power of Dragons."

He then walked with it to the middle of the open street and rose it somewhat to his face. It then blistered in its peak, covering him in its light and when began to kick up all around him. Dust, debris and trashcans too light were flung up, spilling their contents and the cars parked began wailing with their alarms.

When the light faded, Dart had assumed the form of the Jade Dragoon, the emerald, enchanted armor having replaced every piece of his equipment and twisted his sword into awork of art, making it's metal like that of a flamberge and from his back his elegant, unearthly wings flapped him slowly to the ground, the feathers like crystals of energy turned to matter and shimmered with rainbow light.

He then walked to her once more, disregarding what commotion he may have started and outstretched his hand to her, "We must make haste. I don't have long in this form."

The little one smiled up at Dart after he agreed to let her come with him. A small gleam of excitement sparkled in her eyes as she looked up at him. Partly because she might finally be able to find Gossamer and actually get to see her again.... but she was mostly excited at the thought of going to such a big and private mansion. Filled with alllll sorts of little goodies only someone like Mister Wayne could afford.

Not that this guy needed to know that though.

Well, it wasn't like she was going to be running off with anything inside. What, was she going to hide it under her dress or something? Suppose she could stuff it inside her doll like she'd been doing with her... erm... in case of stranger danger toy.

When the man pulled out the strange object and walked back with it, she puzzled for a bit and watched. And she continued to watch as the street practically lifted off of the ground or let everyone on this side of Gotham know that something conspicuous was going on. Aaand she kept on staring even after everything had calmed down and Dart walked back in his nice new form. Her bright reddish colored eyes that were just moments ago sparkling with excitement were now as wide as could be. It actually took her a moment to register that he had his hand held out to her to take. She stuttered once, then promptly shut her mouth and nodded at him. She wasn't sure she knew what to say at that little show, so she opted to simply taking his hand.

This... could be a fun night.

Dart was amused a bit by her weariness, unsure of what to make of him as he smiled. Though when her hand met his, the smile broadened, glad that his brash action didn't scare her off.

Sheathing his sword with his free hand, he then picked her up in his arms, carrying her firmly and securely against his breastplate so that she was safe in his grasp.

His wings unfolded once more, light spewing from them downwardly, lifting them off the ground and began to flap, sending them high into the skies and as they flew, he listened carefully for direction...

The little girl wrapped her arms around whatever she could when Dart picked her up and held her against him. Her gaze shifted from his face to his wings for a moment, then focused completely on his wings as he opened them up. Her body tensed up in anticipation for what was to come, and her grip tightened around him.

For a moment, she questioned if he was really going to do what she thought he was going to do. The seconds it took to take the two of them from the street to the skyline answered her question. She gasped and hugged herself as tightly as she could against Dart. Staring down at the ground for only a moment before hiding her face. Trying as hard as she could to calm herself down.

"The... the beach." she said timidly. "There should be a road heading out past the beach. There's a great big mansion down that way."

Dart nodded in response, hearing her direction and his form rose higher into the sky, his arms holding her firmer to assure her safety as he ascended. He rose above the tallest of buildings nearest to them and there for a moment his eyes scanned the horizon, looking for the beach she spoke of and when he felt that he located it, seeing it not too far off in the distance, he held her tightly and dove, using both his momentum and gravity with the pulsation of his magic wings to fling them fast towards the beach.
