Yea I think Im gonna use normal marines for my IW army. Though I will have to spring for the Chaos tanks & stuff when the need arises

Whatever chaos army you do, you really do need to convert anyway. Unless you're doing a khorne army with bezerkers and a daemon prince. Those models as standard fit in.
But any other chaos army IS a converter's army. To make it look right, you'll need to convert.

Whole reason I choose Chaos.

Although, I would go with them for only specific reasons, I would go Word Bearers.
Eh, but thats all I got sorry.

Gah..... that reminds me that i still need to order my sonic weaponry for my noise havocs, plus i should get extra blastmasters for conversions.

Has anyone used the noise weapon Predator? Just wondering how good it does compared to the normal chaos predator.

I've gone up against one.Very interesting to deal with.I'd say use one.If not for the power but because it fits in well with a Noise Marine force.

I use a pure Emperor's Children army, so i want a lot of noise weaponry, especially blastmasters, so i was thinking of a noise dreadnought(either converted or the one from forgeworld) and a noise predator.

Um.....Do you have to give your aspiring champions termi armour to use the weapons? It seems pretty silly but you cant even give them close combat weapons with out it. Bolt pistols and plasme pistols, bolters and great weapons dont rquire termi armour but everything else dose crying

Never mind that. I broke down and straped a power fist to my squad leader xd

Personally, My aspiring champions are possessed squad leaders. So they both have daemonic talons.
Remember, Daemonic gifts are open to champions... And they don't require ANY sort of armor.

"Models in Terminator Armour may only use items marked with an asterisk."

That's what it says in my Codex. So. The way I see it, you can give any man anythnig, but only terminators are limited. It doesn't say "Only Terminators can use these." It says "Terminators can only use these."
So.
If you give the unit/leader Daemonic Armour and Aura, that comes to the same point cost for Aspiring Champions.
You don't get the extra attack, but it doesn't limit what you can use either.

Yea I read it a few times and figured out that I could do it. Anyways now my Iron Warrior Havocs have a Leader with bolter and power fist. A chaos marine with bolter and Close combat weapon. a heavy bolter, autocannon, and a missle lancher. Only reason the las gun isnt in there is because I couldnt get him to holt it lol

In my opinion, it's best to take Armor & Aura on your aspiring champions. Especially in a chosen squad.
It's 1 point more expensive than terminator armor, but for that value, you are much more mobile, and have a wider choice of the weapons on the list. And of course there's a lot of ways to represent the armor & aura, that are more interesting than a converted new termy, or an old crappy metal chaos termy...

So yes. I'd take them. It's only ONE point, and it's more convenient. Convenience IS worth a point.

I got the Chaos Space Marine collector guide, and I was wondering how many styles of Marine there have been? It looks like just two in the guide.

How many generations of Chaos have there been, also?

There are 8 major marks of armor, and then several Variants of armor based on each of those. Nurgle appears to use modified MK5.
