Amphi smiled as she laced her arm through her Dates, that of the taller and handsome Sheriden, Celestial dragon. They had been a little...a lot late because of Amphi's hesitant to come out of her room with her dress on. In fact even now she was getting that nervous sickness feeling as she walked with him to the prom's room. Her eyes feel on the sheer amount of students around, there was a ton!

"Wow." She tugged on Sheriden's arm, smiling up at him. "Thank you again for taking me Sheriden, and for the flowers as well!" She held out her wrist with the flower corsage that had been a gift from Sheriden. It matched her dress perfectly. "Do you want to dance first?" She smiled up at him and then looked around again, Maybe she would see Ys, or Sparrow, or even those she knew less of but still knew of, Like Mac or Sarias.



Night pushed his sunglasses, a gift of sorts from Vee as he shifted in his attire once more. His hat gave him a 20's gents look, with his orange yellow dappers vest. All in all, He was a perfect match for his date, the lustrous fire Elemental Vieve who at the moment was farther behind him, though he wasn't sure why. Her fire like orange glow and black gown fitted her perfect, as she made accessories with the necklace and flowers that Night had helped her with.

"Hey Vee!" Night yelled behind him, "Come and hold my hand as we walk in at least. I promise to behave and not bite...or get distracted by shiny objects!." Though his eyes did dart to the flashing lights, he turned to keep focused on his date. "There is games, dancing....Poker." Night loved poker, as a unlucky cat he felt he had a advantage after all, he could...effect students a certain way with his natural unlucky aura. Maybe.

"Come one Veeeeeeeeeee." Night's tail, now decorated with the pretty orange and yellow ribbon that Vee gave him, swayed back and forth.

She waited.

And waited.

... When she looked up, she realized that Mitsu was gone, and there was a Charlie dragging the poor ghoul away to the dance floor. She stared, not sure if she should frown (at the disruption) or laugh (because it's Charlie), and instead, settled for face palming.

"Charlie!" She settled for yelling after him while giggling. When she reached them, she took hold of Charlie in one hand and Mitsu in the other before holding both of them close, "You know what? Let's dance. Three of us."

How? USE YOUR IMAGINATION.

Moure noticed Claire was grinning when she moved her hand from her mouth, and Moure felt relief that he hadn't made her angry or something. The Runner nodded, tipping his chauffeur hat to her with a slight grin himself.

"The pleasure is all mine." Gloved hand in hand, Moure helped pull Claire up, then bowed, trying his best to be a good gentleman. He wasn't sure if he was really doing this whole Prom thing right, but if it was making others happy, he could roll with that.

Claire now up, Moure walked with her over to the dance floor. He noticed it was a good song for classical dancing, and acted accordingly. Now that they were dancing, Moure thought he should ask Claire if she was serious about what she'd been implying when she'd walked away before. "So...Claire..." He looked at her, a curious expression on his face. "Were you serious eariler? You know, when you said that?"

Mitsu was all but petrified in place her arms swinging about as Charlie moved them for her. "I-I-I..." She couldn't seem to get her words out eyes darting about for help. Thankfully help soon arrived though Mitsu wasn't sure how much help it was....Lizzy still wanted her to dance.

There was a light whimper unsure if she should move her feet. At least with the hip thrusting she hadn't really moved. Held in place by her own fear Mitsu watched the two beside her dance away too nervous to join in. She hadn't really expected this after all....though...she had been wanting to dance with someone, but that wasn't going to happen.

Sure enough, not even a few moments after the banshee left the booth did the current song die away. For a few beats it was silent until the system automatically switched to the next song. Again, it was something slow. A romantic love song, perfect for couples to get together and continue to swirl around on the dance floor to.



Aislin ignored the music that began to play, giving a little roll of her eyes. Slow songs were all well and good but unless she had someone to dance to they just weren't that entertaining. She'd begun to poke around behind the stage, entertained by the brighter glow that the lights brought forth from her. Normally the banshee barely gave off enough light to notice, even in the dark.

So, as it was, the ghostling was a bit startled when she was suddenly almost bumping into Nuk. "Nuk?" Her question echoed after he called out to her. She shook her head, causing pale hair to float lazily through the air across her face. "Oh, nothing. Unless you consider 'bored' as something wrong." Reaching out she lightly touched his shoulder with her fingertips, brows furrowing for the barest of moments. "What about you?"

Even Aislin had to admit to herself. She wasn't usually someone to notice that someone else was having an unfun time, even less likely to really try and do anything about it. But she'd been talking to Nuk and he'd been fine, happy even! He'd sung and hip thrust and then suddenly in a glower he'd stalked off. It had... bothered her.

Lizzy had found the two and had started to dance which made the demon very happy. He'd originally gone after Lizzy and dragged the wrong ghoul, not that he regretted it. He didn't at all, in fact Mitsu looked like she was really fluffy and Charlie could admire that. But Lizzy being there too made him really happy.

Though when the demon turned to see that Mitsu was not dancing he felt his heart drop. The demon stopped and gave Mitsu the saddest face he could muster.

"Whats wrong?" He tilted his head. "You're not dancing.... Do you not like the song? Want me to tell the DJ to change it maybe?" Charlie tilted his head. He was like a small child trying to figure out what was wrong with a grown up and then offering a bandaid to fix it.

She tensed up immediately at the word 'dance'- it was the one thing she definitely wanted to avoid, this evening, because whether or not Night could dance, Vieve... could not. At all.

"I have no confidence in your dancing abilities," she said to him, somewhat coldly, looking away. No matter that prom wasn't what she'd consider high-class, anyway; more of random spazzy movements than elegant ballroom dancing. Considering how rowdy it was, she expected someone to bump into her at any time, knocking her onto the ground.

Embarrassing. Her face coloured at the thought of it, and she was glad that the lighting would mask the blushing, but she still.. really wanted to get off the dance floor. Right now. Before something happened.

"I don't like this," she sulked. "We can go play poker. I'm not dancing."

Vieve was often synonymous with 'wet blanket'.

Always together, the plague doctor said, pairing the words with affection and, for the second time that night, that fierce protectiveness. More than that: the will to keep the other close at hand, and never let go. Even if we may trip over each other sometimes.

... As if on cue, one trailing swathe of fabric got under one hoof, and Malodore staggered forward - not far, though, given that Riley's tentacles were there to catch it. "Don't... don't you do that. I don't know for sure if I could catch you," it said, after a moment's silent laughter at itself. "We would end up in a tumble on the floor. Most uncouth."
