((Just thought I'd introduce myself using this account so that you guys'll recognize it when I start using it. I always liked this account. It was my wife that convinced me to make StoicNinja, because that was name on a game that we played and she thought it sounded cooler. But I couldn't get rid of my original, so now I just have two. Anyways, waste not and all that, so I'm gonna use both.))

While Jania entered ahead of him Jyreme sealed Enecio back within his binding stone and then he entered the building as well. He led the way to a side table and held out a chair for her.

"Feel free to have anything you want. It's the least I can do to repay you for the excellent battle." Jyreme said with a smile. "I'm going to have to do some serious training, if I plan on making our rematch even more exciting than this battle was."

Jania smirked a little has Jryreme told her she could order anything. She half considered ordering the most expansive thing available but decided not to. She instead settled with a less expensive dish that she knew would still be good. "You fought better then i expected you to, honestly." Jania said as she scanned the the available food one more time.

"It was actually a work out, which kind of surprised me to be honest. Most mages I spar against in towns like these don't even take me seriously until it's far to late." Jania said nonchalantly. "It was good to fight someone who at least looked like they took the battle seriously from the start," She meant what she said a compliment but she didn't care if he took it that way or not.

Raidek put his mask on as he stepped away from the window, and moved to the door. Spiking his hair wildly before opening the door, he stepped out and made his way out of the in only to look at the building the two mages had entered. He had an odd feeling in hit gut, a feeling like he was being watched. Even though it could have just been that he was a man in a mask in this little town, it was enough for him to keep his guard up. Raidek moved towards the building they had entered, his chain scythe at his side, he stepped into the building, taking a look around the pub he spotted the two mages; however, he ignored them and moved to an empty table and took a seat.

Jyreme ordered Jania her meal, and a second one for himself, and drinks for them both.

"I don't much believe in holding back. When you underestimate your opponent and hold back they could defeat you while your guard is down. I think the best bet for winning a battle is to give it your all from the start, and if you still lose then your opponent was probably better than you. The only time it makes sense to hold back, to me anyways, is when you are competing in some sort of tournament where your potential opponents can observe you. That way they can't strategize against your whole combat style all at once." Jyreme said.

"You should always take you opponent seriously." Jania said. "But you shouldn't always go all out. If you show your opponent all your tricks right away then they will be able to create a strategy according to what you see." Jania scanned the room while waiting for her food she was kind of tired after the battle and slowly becoming bored again. She didn't know why she was letting this person take her out.

Jania noticed one man who walked in, she noticed him because of the way he was dressed. The mask he wore made him seem almost mysterious. She knew the feeling of wanting to hide ones self seeing as she constantly changed her appeared age. She already thought she had more in common with the stranger then with the man sitting with her buying food.

Raidek wasn’t sure if he should approach them or not, two combatants, one, with a unique talent that he could put to use if he learned it. However, that was something he hadn’t liked the idea of in the first place, asking someone to teach them. That had been his master’s job, and even though his master was dead and unable to teach him anymore, it still felt wrong to search elsewhere. Sitting there he sighed, and decided best to let it work itself out for now, and if he were to decided upon asking her, he would have to do it in a certain way. She obviously isn’t your everyday combatant…that is to be sure. Sighing again he stole a glance at the table, only for a moment before looking away again.

"Here you are." A waitress said as she arrived at the table with their food and drinks.

"Thank you." Jyreme said and paid the woman, with a decent tip.

The waitress left and He turned his attention back to Jania, who wore an expression of disinterest.

Crap, she's bored of me already. C'mon, Jyreme. You're more charming than that, aren't you?

"So, Jania. That was a very interesting technique you used during our battle. I'm not sure I entirely understand how it works though. Would you care to explain it?"

Jania noticed the strange man in the mask glance her way before looking away. Jania might be paranoid but she thought he was looking more at her then Jryreme, which meant either he wanted to take her out to lunch instead, or he saw the fight and might want to challenge her. Either way she might be able to get a free meal, but this was of course assuming that the man in the corner was even interested.

The waitress passed by and set their food down and Jania curtly took her utensils and began to eat in a dignified manner. Jryreme's question brought Jania back to her supposed date. "It's complicated, and very difficult to teach. It requires allot of self control and allot of magical focus," Jania said nonchalantly. "It's also a little to complicated to explain in full." She claimed as if this finished the particular topic line. "How long have you been a combatant, Jryreme?"

"A little under two years. My master said that I was not the most magically inclined age he'd ever met, I think he was being sarcastic" Jyreme said with a grim smile. ". Unfortunately I have a tendency to not be able to cast right. It took me a long time just to able to cast my strength spell and my spell disruption spell. Since it takes me so long to master a single spell i pretty much put all of faith in just those two. How about you? How long have you been a mage?" He asked.

Jania counted in her head quickly. "Well," she sighed a little with a small pause as if reminiscing, "I've been a combatant for about 19 years now. I was discovered to have talent at a young age, younger than most so i suppose I've been a practitioner of magic for about 24 years already." Jania waited a moment to see if the age and skill difference would sink in and make Jryreme afraid. She had an almost evil smirk on her face as if to make him ask 'how old are you?'.

Jyreme smiled as he listened to her, happy to be having a conversation with such and attractive and interesting woman. Then her words were absorbed and floated back to the forefront of his mind. His smile faltered and his eyes widened slightly as the realization began to dawn on him.

Combatant... 19 years... Even if she started at half the normal age, she'd still be nine years older than I am... Or she could be as old as 36! Holy crap!...

"That's, uh, that's quite a while." Jyremes voice haltered as he spoke. "I mean - you must be very experienced. I mean -" He continued, his voice rising in pitch as he began to rapidly lose his composure.

Jyreme ceased speaking and his eyes widened even further at the realization of what a fool he was making of himself. His jaw dropped slightly. He had never lost his cool like this before before, of course he had never been in a situation quite like this before. Here he was trying to charm a woman, and it turns out she's old enough to be his mother. He attempted to collect his sense, and only partially succeeded.

"Uh, excuse me for my, uh, reaction. You just, um, caught me by surprise with that, uh, a little..." He said in a shaky voice and then trailed off to silence once more.

Raidek stood from his chair and made his way between tables, making his way toward the table from the side where the male mage would have his back towards him. As he got closer, he planned out exactly what he would do to the mage.

When he was a foot away he reached forward with his right hand, his palm grasping the top of the mages head and yanking him backwards with great force, bringing the chair with him. Raidek would slam the mages head into the floor and stood, bringing a swift kick across the mages face and then kicking him off the chair before standing the chair again, taking a seat and looking at the woman before him.

“You are an interesting mage you know that.” Hoping in the back of his head that his little stunt had knocked the mage out so he wouldn’t have to be ‘handled’ further.

Jyreme felt something atop his head, grasping, and for a brief moment he wondered what the hell was going on as he was thrust down and back. Then his head collided violently with the floor and he was struck ((haha, get it?)) with the realization that he had been attacked. Then everything went black and he didn't wonder or realize anymore.

Jyremes unconscious body lay sprawled on the wooden floor of the pub, shoved haphazardly to one side, out of the way of the chair that had been his only a moment ago. His eyes hadn't closed entirely as his consciousness slipped into the recesses of his mind, and the whites of his eyes showed through his slightly parted eyelids.

"Hey!" The bartender called from behind his waist high countertop. "That sort of thing's not allowed in here. I suggest you get out now, before you're shown the exit the way you don't wanna be shown."

Jania watched Jryreme struggle with the concept that Jania was a fairly older woman with amusement. Enough amusment that she realized the man in the mask was right behind Jryreme only seconds before he threw Jryreme aside and sat down in his chair. Jania heard the bartender yell for the masked man to leave in a not so friendly way while she decided what to say.

"If you were looking to buy me dinner all you had to do was asking, darling." Jania said in a slightly mocking tone, almost as if she saw his particular behavior every day. Jania figured she would follow this masked man depending on his response.
