Rioushu raised an eyebrow at her and looked confused. He scratched his head as he thought of what to say. "Why are you blushing? Listen, I didn't say I wanted the child to myself, I said I wanted to help raise it, why do you have such a problem with that, and why do you have such a problem with me? If you have a problem with me, how about actually talking to me about it?" Rioushu suggested, he was going to know why she had been so irritable around him lately.

Libby shrugged. "She's jealous. She's always wanted me to herself and now I'm about to be gone forever and she knows she can't handle that. So now her emotions are all screwed up and she's hoping she can have me to herself in a way by having my child to herself."
She put a hand on Aonice's shoulder and started talking to her in the third person. "What she needs to realize is that the importance of this child's upbringing transcends our petty argument. I want you both to bring up the child."

Aonice bit her lip more firmly as she heard Libby's words, and squinched her eyes firmer together, not really wanting to hear that.. "That's not true" She spoke in an attempt to divert their attention.. "I hate Rio, i would never want him to have such a responsiblity as a child, he's annoying and always in the way!" She turned around, glaring at the man, her arms so gripped around themselves as she attempted to keep from being violent, as she naturally was. "He goes around with this stupid attitude like he can do anything he wants! Always attempting to break into people's private property and peer in onto other's business! He has this attitude like he has to interfere with everything!" The small girl raised her voice at the last second, emphasiszing Everything, as well as her feelings about him. She quickly turned around and stomped out the door, feeling little to no need to be in the same room with him for the time being.

Rioushu looked a bit surprised at Aonice's outburst, then looked at Libby with a confused look on his face. "What the? Always in the way? What's she talking about? She's usually the one to interfere with my business, especially with women." Rioushu said to her, then scratched his head. "Do you think she knows I'd stop going around doing what I want if she told me not to? I mean, she is the owner of the island, so I can't really say no." Rioushu stated, then shook his head. "Ah, so confusing, well anyway, she'll cool off, what do you think Libby?" Rioushu asked her.

Libby's eyes followed Aonice as she stormed out, then fell back on Rioushu once the door had been slammed.
In answer to his question, she stared back toward the door.
"I think she needs to listen to herself and learn that she has a lot in common with you," she said. "That's why she can't stand you so much, Rio. She feels like you have an attitude as if you can do anything you want. But which one of you is the one that owns the island, hmm?"
Libby snickered for a second and then laid back on her bed. "It's okay. She'll cool down and come back. Finding out one of your best friends is dying has a way of reorganizing your priorities."

Rioushu shrugged as Libby talked to him. "I guess so, I know you dying has reorganized my priorities, especially with the kid and all..." Rioushu said, then stopped when something registered in his mind. "Me and Aonice have so much in common? You should explain, because I have no idea what you're talking about." Rioushu stated, looking confused.

"Because," Libby explained. "You both have an attitude toward eachother. She's jealous of you because you're my other best friend and she wants to be the only one. So she gets this attitude toward you. And then she projects that attitude that she has with you into an attitude that you have with her. And every time you respond to her attitude, she flips it around and makes it seem like you have an attitude with her. But really, she's the one with the attitude."
Libby arched her back and lifted her arms up high above and behind her head until she heard and felt the pop in her spine. Then she continued.
"Aonice has control issues. That's why she owns an island, especially such a matriarchal one."
Suddenly Libby was sounding a lot smarter than she had ever before appeared to be.

Rioushu nodded as Libby spoke, he knew every word was true. "Indeed, I figured that much out already, but I'm just wondering, why? I mean, surely she's not selfish enough to want you, and just about every other interesting girl on this island to herself." Rioushu said, still a bit confused.
