Kamahl backed up a bit as the small child reached for his nose. He wasn't used to being around children so he was clueless as to what to do. He looked up at Layna with a look of confusion on his face.

Katsu deflated his sholders slumped,"Aw man! Another lead's gone. What should we do Momo?"
Momo tossed his head with dignity," What you said previously. We find the Alpha and ask him."

Layna smiled at Kamahl happily. "Gabriel, be nice, this is Kamahl. He owns this shop." She said with a murmur. Gabriel nodded and dropped his hand. "Yes mama." Gabriel said quietly. "Kamahl, my son, Gabriel. And my daughter, Maria." She murmured, brushing black hair from her daughter's face. "How have you been, Kamahl? You've been gone such a long time."

Kamahl looked at the young boy. "Where's the wings?" He tried to make a joke but quickly realized that it may have been a bit inappropriate. Slowly, he stood up and knocked his head on the doorframe. He winced a little....doorways were always a bit shorter than he was. After rubbing his head he finally replied. "Cold.....tired of running around doing everybody else's dirty work."
His chest still hurt from the silver nitrate bullet that penetrated it a couple of months ago. Kamahl figured that it was of a pretty high dosage and the effects wouldn't wear off for a while.

Layna stared at Katsu once more. "The last time I saw him was a year ago, and...what my relationship is with him...is none of your business." She murmured quietly. She once again switched her gaze to Kamahl. "It's good to have you back, I was getting worried." She said. Gabriel giggled at the joke, knowing full well who Gabriel was. "Fly fly!" He squealed.

Kamahl smiled a little at the sound of the child's laughter. It seems that is the only thing that could make a cold hearted killer look remotely happy. He poked the kid's nose playfully and then looked at his watch for a brief moment. "It's good to be back....." He stayed silent for a moment. ".....home....." He had never really had a home before...never stayed in a place long enough to call it home. "I'll be downstairs sleeping in my room if you need me. Have to get some rest for the upcoming days."
Kamahl reached for Layna's hand and kissed it. He then turned around and walked back downstairs towards his room. (exit)
((Got formation in a few minutes so I have to get off the computer. I'll be back online soon and hopefully I'll be able to RP with you all again. Good night!))

Layna watched Kamahl disappear down the staircase, a bemused smile on her face, before her attention was transferred once more to Katsu...but now he seemed different. "Everyone has things they like to keep to themselves. What about you? Why do you want to find Razu so badly?" She muttered, a tone of disdain slipping into her voice.

Layna blinked, her eyes widening. "Y-You're...KatsuMomo." She let out a soft gasp, surprised beyond words. She stepped back away from the man, her heart in her throat in astonishment. Gabriel looked up at his mother, and caught her reaction before he too stepped back away from the man, following his mother's example.

Layna stepped back once more, a little nervous. She didn't know that much about this person, and the fact that he seemed to have a split personality of sorts did not melt that outlook. He's nuts... She thought with cool respite. "I... Don't know much besides he had a son." She murmured softly, her grey eyes dark.

"ah...so he didn't tell you about both of us? That's a disappointment. He must not trust you enough-"
"Momo shut up. He did tell her about us,his son, besides we weren't....like we are now. Remember?" Katsu knocked on his head with a closed fist.
Momo rubbed his head,"Ow. I guess I remember. Hmph. Doesn't mean anything. Why would he tell a gaijiin about us?"
Katsu shrugged,"Beats me."

"Gaijiin? What is that?" She questioned, her words quipped. Maria grumbled at being held, and began to wriggle uncomfortably. Layna sighed and set the toddler upon the floor, where she immediately crawled to her brother. Layna lowered her eyes to watch her children with admiration, her heart beating with loving warmth.
