Happy B-day to me... I finally got a chance to figure out how to upload pictures from my phone! Now, I have at least one viable excuse for a picture going up in... 3, 2, 1...
Sorry about the sideways ness. Still trying to figure out why it was sideways. On Dec. 12!

And that ret, is the reason I would NEVER be able to fit in at like the army place/thinger... I would be standing there with my hat to the side, popping a smile, sticking out my tongue, and giving a peace sign.
And then, I would be doing push ups for the rest of my life... and that's not cool. I can't stand around looking serious for more than 10 minutes.

Well that's when discipline instilled by someone who you get to know kicks in. Also, you respect the rank, not the person. I mean, you can respect the person too, but if you hate them you still have to respect their rank

Actually age has nothing to do with it-- it's skill and all sorts of other stuff. My ROTC instructors are the Colonel Mack and the Sergeant Major, and the Sergeant Major is actually a lower rank than the Colonel, but is (slightly) older. You respect the time and effort that must have been put forth to achieve the rank and hope people do the same for you
