"He did earlier. The scene that we read included him, but we didn't get that far... I think he's also supposed to come to callbacks. I'm starving!" Lyserg exclaimed. "SO glad we get to eat lunch now... I hope Faust remembers to eat, he's looking kind of thin..." eagerly, he hopped into line. "Wonder where Shizuka is?"

Shizuka tapped on his shoulder, indicating that she was right behind them.
"So is the other girl your sister, Shizuka-chan? I know that she probabaly isn't, but..."
The shaman cut her friend off with her head's shake.
"Oh, alright. Umm, hey guys. I'm Miyako, in Shizuka-chan's algebra class." Miyako reached her hand out to the others, expecting someone to shake it.

"Hello!" Lyserg said warmly. "I'm happy to meet you! So, did you try out for the play, Miyako?"

"Aw! Netsubo, don't be unfriendly!" Lyserg called.

*netsubo ignored them and went to go wander the campus*

Ren realized that they had been left at the hotel back at the beach, so he had dragged Hao and Horo along to try and find Faust, Shizuka, Lyserg, and Netsubo. Luckily, the three ran into the restaurant Faust and his "children" had eaten the day before, so they followed that lead and luck followed them. They made it just barely to the school that Netsubo, Shizuka, and Lyserg had been enrolled in and where Faust was now teaching, hoping to find them again, but as it would seem, their luck ran out and they all got lost on the campus the day before the school started. Disheartened, the three boys all walked away and rented a room in a nearby hotel. Actually, only Ren was really searching. Hao and Horo, who had been dragged along because Ren was afraid that Yoh might be angry at him for leaving them behind, only kept following Ren because he had the money to keep them all from going hungry or getting lost. This was why it was kind of fortunate to have the kind of family Ren had, though he hated to admit it.

"Well," Ren sighed, a few days later when the school really did start. "We've come all this way. Why not have another go at trying to find them?"

"Uh..." Hao nervously laughed, looking more scared than happy, as his false smile tried to indicate. "Ren, we've been searching for days! Just...let them go...and then we can return back to our place..."

"What do you mean OUR place?!" Ren growled lowly at the pyro. "Yoh owns it. And furthermore, this conversation has begun to bore me. You're coming whether you want to or not. However..." Ren glanced nervously in the Ainu's direction, who was still sleeping soundly in his bed. It was nine in the morning, after all. "...I think we can safely leave Horo here. Just write him a note, so he won't freak out..."

Hao nodded, looking a tad more confident, and scribbled something out on a paper. However, as fate would have it, the note was lost just after the two left the room, and fell into the trashcan that had been convieniently been placed next to the table.

Ren and Hao left for the school, yet agian, hoping that their luck would turn around. After all, finding three people in a school couldn't be that hard, right?

The Chinese Shaman, who had never been to a public school, and the pyromaniac, who had never even gone to a school, would have never known.

((that's right. Did you know? Ren has never been to a public school because his dad didn't want him to be corrupted by the whole "underage sex" and "swearing and vanalism" thing. Hee, they're in for a shock, right?))

Faust caught sight of Ren. "Oh... rough day?"
