Felix was up in the stands watching the fights... and quite bored by them. How anyone got any satisfaction from watching brawny idiots beat one another to a pulp...! "Why am I even here?" he mumbled to himself. He looked around for a distraction and happened to spot the familiar shape of Alcharius nearby on Jinx's head. He sighed and figured he may as well. Picking himself up, he took himself over to the seat next to Jinx. "Enjoying it?" he asked her conversationally, though not quite managing to keep his distaste for 'it' out of his voice.

Jinx looked at Felix and sighed, "Not at all," she slouched in her seat and began to play with her hair.

"Well, at least that makes two of us, then," Felix replied wryly, leaning back in his seat and surveying the fights from beneath half-lidded eyes. "So do you know exactly why we're here?"

Xue started to advance towards Gorum. Xue's sword was posed ready for the fight.

"I came here once before... back when I first met Bryce," Felix recalled. "Or rather, this was where I first met him. I was here with an alchemist from one of the nearby Mage schools. He was a fairly intelligent man, but he had a weakness for this sort of spectacle I never understood." She wrinkled her nose. "How do people actually enjoy this?"

"Hey, don't ask me, I am not enjoying any of this." Jinx sat up and threw back her head, "Let's do something" She jumped up and grabbed Felix by the wrist, "Since you know the area, you can show me around!"

Felix blinked as she was dragged to her feet. "Er, well, to tell the truth there's not much to see..." She sighed. "If there were at least a town of some sort here, it'd be bearable. As it is, there's just the arena, the training grounds and some living quarters, which are private." She shrugged, then glanced down at the arena as some twist in one of the fights sent the crowd howling. "... though, on second thoughts, anything has to be better than this. Let's go." She quickly led Jinx off the stands.

Jinx hurried outside the arena, "I know I kill people for a living, but man, thats a little to much killing for my taste," Jinx got a sparkle in her eye, more like an idea, "Felix, stand over here," she positioned Felix so that he/she was standing in front but still to the side of her. "and take money when its handed to you." Jinx began to dance.

"So... I'm taking money for people to ogle an elf girl from the tribe historically opposed to my own..." Felix mumbled to herself, then gave a sigh. "This isn't the proudest moment in my alchemical career..."

Every time someone would walk passed, she would walk up to them and dance directly in front of them and would pretty much force them to give up their money by the way she moved.

Felix sighed again. "Don't you have any shame?" she grumbled at Jinx when there was a slight lull in the passers by. "I think I'd prefer helping you pick a few pockets somehow..."

Jinx giggled and walked over to Felix, "Come on, lighten up. It's fun." She looked in Felix's hands, "How much coins did we get?"

Felix peered into the small money-bag she'd been using with some distaste. "Twenty Gottons," she reported. "Not bad I guess. But still..."
