[Joseph: Stable Car]
The male was bouncing from foot to foot, his energy still pumped up. And he wasn't sure how to burn that energy. It wasn't like he could pop in a video game to play to distract himself. And showers were being taken...showers with guys that either wouldn't understand why he was avoiding them or made awkward cause he was the gay guy.
Yes...best to avoid them for now and shower later. Besides, the Kuja and Seymour run-in was bad enough.
Joe shook his head at the candy bowl. Sugar wasn't going to be good for him in this state, but he stuck around jsut to listen to the convo, really.

[Alice :: Port Royal :: Flying Dutchman's Captain's Quarters]
Alice's auburn eyes flickered momentarily as she stepped through the portal, as if identifying everyone in the room. Her eyes finally came to rest on Ajora who at that moment flashed a smile at the animator. Her own smile was summoned easily enough as the animator tilted her head downwards in greeting. She closed the distance, her footsteps consuming away at the already irreparable floor.
At her side, the fabric of her glove unraveled as she lifted it and gently placed it upon Ajora's open hand. The animator once again inclined her head, "Ajora, the pleasure is mine," she said simply and softly.

[ Ajora ; Celia : Port Royal : Flying Dutchman's Captain's Quarters ]
As Ajora's hand grasped her own, despite the acidic sensation, he lowered his lips to the bare back of her hand, kissing it lightly before bringing himself up. Licking his lips to rid himself of the burning poison, he chuckled somewhat before finally letting go of her hand.
"Quite the deviant- a princess of poison. I like you," he said, Darkness slithering around his burned palm (and, though it could barely be seen in the dark lighting, from inside his very mouth). It purged the poisons from his body for the moment, though he could still feel the potency of her venom. "I have a feeling you'll fit right in, especially with the Impure as an eidolon. Out of curiosity, did Cory have anything relatively interesting going on? You were with him for a reason, I'd assume."

[Azrael: Port Royal: Flying Dutchman's Captain's Quarters]
The male had settled into the corner of the room. Whether or not anyone noticed...well, that was their problem, not his.
Of course with Celia bringing a 'new member' to their ragtag little group, Az got quite curious. Poisonous? Already tried to poison the 'leader'? She had some brass ones in her panties, apparently...if she wore any, of course.
Something clicked in Azrael's head, though, especially with the name. Something from before he was made...
"Alice...you mean that bratling with the rabbit? Dayyyyum, girl. You sure did get fukkin hot in such a short amount of time." And yes, Azrael was grinning like a wolf spotting a lamb in the field...though inwardly, he knew he wouldn't do much of anything. Once a bratling, always a brat. Major turnoff.

[Alan :: LoD :: Tea Shop]
Alan nodded pensively. "Which raises the question," he said, "of exactly what period of Chinese history this is supposed to be. The original tale of Mulan was . . . ancient. Like, before tea was popular ancient. I mean, back when tea came in cakes that you roasted and ground up and stirred into boiling water. Not sure about the Disney movie, though. It would be really nice to find out, but I don't know enough about Chinese history to perform a meaningful test." Alan looked down at the teapot, smiling oddly. "Go ahead and buy it. We can look up the kanji later."
Alan turned and walked back to the table with the others, his expression an odd cross between a friendly smile and all-business eyes. He was done beating around the bush. As he took a seat, he looked first at the others, than at Riku. "Tell me," he said, "do you know about Kingdom Hearts? I mean," he corrected himself, "not, like, Kingdom Hearts Kingdom Hearts - Earth's Kingdom Hearts. Have the others told you about it?"

[Kyla:LoD: Tea Shop]
OH...MY....GOD....
If Alan could have picked the WRONG topic to point out- he certainly picked the winner of them all. Thankfully- he had settled down beside her, and the pictomancers hand moved beneath the table to poke the side of his leg with a meaningful bit of pressure.
"Oh you mean the ' Interactive Chronicles'? Yes we've spoken about them in previous conversations. But as you know- there isn't much to tell really, they just fleshed out the basics of their tale concerning Kingdom Hearts."
Kyla side glanced the fire mage, hoping he'd catch onto the silent plea- ' NO THEY DON'T KNOW THE FACT THAT WE KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT THEM! INCLUDING THE FACT THEY WERE JUST- A GAME- ON OUR WORLD... so please....SAY no more!'
It had always been a touchy subject that the earlier group of earthlings made an instinctive choice not to dabble into..at leats not unless they HAD to. Common- look at it subjectively, how would you feel, if someone came up to you, and knew all your dirty little secrets- and guess what- it was JUST a GAME for them?!
A bit insensitive don't yah think?
Or take that a step further- what if the enemy gleened this knowledge? Then they could try to figure out more from one of the earthlings. Things could go very wrong- very fast! It felt like a decition that they all should make together- not just burt out over the tea table!

[Alan :: LoD :: Tea Shop]
Okay. Apparently there was something Kyla was trying to communicate. She seemed to be insistent on not using the actual name of the games, but apparently they had touched on the important point - the fact that there was documentation on Earth of the Kingdom Hearts world, and especially of Sora's quest. With that in mind, he couldn't imagine what it was that she didn't want him to say.
He looked a little curiously at Kyla, his smile dropping off his face. "Not much to tell? Maybe not, but their existence is incredibly suggestive, isn't it? For one thing," he turned to look at Riku. The boy certainly looked like a teenager - certainly not older than his mid twenties. "How long ago did all that happen?"

[Kyla:LoD: Tea house]
Well, there wasn't much else she could do to stop him if something did get blurted out. Riku was far too perceptive to risk trying anymore subliminal hints. All she could hope for is Alan to be mindful of what effects telling them about their own complete informent may have on their relationship.
Who was she to judge though- maybe they'd have no problem with a bunch of strangers knowing everything abuot them. Their home, the good and bad choices they made, all the thoughts and inner insight... It just occured to her, that maybe knowing someone out there had a full view of your actions and into your own mind, would probably weird out even the best of people.
Now that she thought about it, they didn't say much about Kingdom Hearts as a subject- like what it was, how it acts, what it can do. Because it lead into too many other questions that seemed better unanswered.
Retracting her hand, Kyla only stared into her tea cup solomnly, not saying anymore. She took a sip to calm her nerves.
Maybe I'm being TOO senstive?
Maybe they wont care- not at all. That every private moment, we were all privy to. And that our knowledge about Kingdom Hearts run much further then a brief description.

[Kichi :: LoD :: Tea shop]
"Hah, just like you to think of that." Kichi said with a chuckle to his friend. "Well, anyways, will do." As Alan went to go sit down, Kichi went over to the counter to buy the teapot...when he heard the words he himself had only learned not to speak the past day.
Kichi stayed calm however, and told the person who he was about to pay "Please hold on one second, I'll be right back." and walked back to the table, leaving the teapot on the counter.
He walked straight over to Alan, not wasting any time. As he walked, he tried to think of what to say so that he could stop alan, without being overly obvious. Some way to fill him in, without breaking Riku's mind. Nothing came up, so when he got there, he simply leaned over and quietly whispered into his ear. "Don't break them. We have a rule among us earthlings that we don't talk about the fact that we had no idea that they were real. That they were just a game to us. While you may be able to handle the kind of thoughts about the reality of the life you've lived, not everyone can. We've been saying that they were stories passed through an interactive medium. Basically, the big difference is we 'knew' that they were real stories."
And with that, he looked up at the group. "Sorry to interrupt, just needed to confirm something about the tea set." he looked at Alan, somewhat apologetically. "Hope that's okay with you." He was a terrible liar and he knew it. So rather than make his lie any worse, he decided he'd simply go back and buy the tea set, and let Alan make something up about what 'flaw' had been encountered.

[Alan :: LoD :: Tea Shop]
Alan sighed deeply. Breaking Riku? As if any of them could. And who the hell cared if they were fictional when the larger issue was the impossible time-line? But if this group was going to be idiots about this whole thing, he might as well play along for now - no sense in earning their ire just yet.
Alan turned to face Jon, his eyes narrowed just enough that only Jon would notice. "I think it's fine," he said. "Things breaking is simply the course of life, but I think you're underestimating the resiliency of objects generally, and of this one in particular. There are more corrosive liquids than tea, you know." His voice was rather well affected at calm and cheerfulness, despite the innuendo.
All of a sudden, Alan didn't feel like drinking tea anymore. Despite his projection of an artful calm, he was beginning to feel increasingly sick to his stomach, like something was missing or wrong. He gave a strange sideways smile, and choked down the rest of his tea.

[Alice :: Port Royal :: Flying Dutchman's Captain's Quarters]
The animator observed quietly, her face devoid of any expression save for her small smile. As he released her hand, she let it drop to her side right as the fabric began to curl around it once more. She watched as the tendrils of darkness swirled around Ajora's hand, taking a mental note. The ability to neutralize the poison? How useful.
How belittling is more like it.
Alice allowed her smile to widen just slightly before responding, "hardly, he leaves his apprentice alone on the ship while he runs off doing errands of little importance I'd assume," she spoke with little inflection. Alice curled her gloved fingers around Alys, lightly scratching the plush behind the ears as it hovered by her shoulder. "It was fairly easy to allow the darkness to take a deeper hold on the heart of his apprentice," Alice said finally before glancing off to the side. So he finally decided to speak. The animator kept her features schooled as Azrael spoke of her appearance. Joe's replica... Alice would have laughed but she merely smiled a wry smile and kept silent.

[Amy ; Tea Lady ; Chen Po, Yao, Ling : LoD : Tea Shop]
The lady smiled politely at John's request for rice wine, and then disappeared for a few moments into the back room. She emerged a moment later with a container of the liquid, and filled John's glass.
Yes, John was drinking alcohol in China. Amy's mouth opened and closed in protest, no words coming out. Why didn't she think of that! Oh, well, maybe because it was a tea shop. She was seething in sober rage.
Chen Po beamed a big smile as the group sat down, and started a conversation about dumplings which could be continued if any of the Earthlings had even the slightest interest in it. Otherwise, he would continue shortly, and then trail off, sipping his tea happily. Ling made a comment about how foreign they appeared, and Yao made a bestial growling noise at them. ((Any of these characters may be asked questions/interacted with. They are like the NPCs in Final Fantasy games. Go up and talk to them, and they might give you information worth hearing. Or they might spout nonsense. Talking/interacting to/with them is optional. ^^))
Amy turned her gaze to Kyle, who was still looking at cups off to the side, as the conversation shifted to Kingdom Hearts. Earth's Kingdom Hearts. As in, the games. Her expression faltered. She wasn't sure what to think of this now. She was still confused about the 'Quest' or whatever, but Alan's question held an answer. Mickey always ran off in Kingdom Hearts. The little mouse had all the answers. Sora needed to find him just to have a clue about what was going on. It was a lot like that now, she figured. Find the King, and find the answers.
"I hope we never lose sight of one thing – it was all started by a mouse." ~ Walt Disney
Kyle, she knew, had the same standpoint as Alan on what should be said to the originals of the Kingdom Hearts universe. He had said something to Cloud and Leon that put them on edge concerning this new group. Cloud was a private person; he had no idea how Kyle had heard of him, and the way he was talking about them made him immediately suspicious. How would they know about them? How?
Kind of difficult to say anything about it. Just that morning, Amy had thought they were all fictional characters. Fragments of a story teller's imagination. Honestly, it made more sense for her to be dreaming right now. That way, they would still be fake, and the world would be understandable once again. If they were real, how was their knowledge of them so complete? Did some magic reveal this to Square Enix, and ba da boom, there's the 'interactive chronicles'? Or maybe Square got parts of it wrong... maybe, if this really was real, she still had her doubts, maybe Square got it wrong. Maybe there were twists the whole lot of them were unaware of. Maybe they didn't know half as much as they assumed they did.
She only had one thing to say.
"Anyways," she said matter of factly, pausing to sip her tea, "is not a word." Unfortunately, Kichi-Jon had already already moved away to pay for that tea set. He probably didn't hear her, despite her hearing him while he was up there saying it. She could spot an 'anyways' a mile away. It was like nails on a chalkboard. Only not.

[ Ajora ; Celia : Port Royal : Flying Dutchman's Captain's Quarters ]
"Apprentice... ah, Timothy!" Ajora said, snapping his fingers in recognition before laughing out of what could only be considered a malicious joy. "Oh, that's brilliant. The kid who wanted power to protect his little friends, right? Oh, that's just... rich."
Glancing over to Azrael as he made his presence known, Ajora merely released a 'tsk, tsk' sound before chuckling again. "Now now, Azrael, that's no way to talk to a lady, no matter how Impure she may be," he said, glancing down at the seal on her leg. "How is CúChulainn? Still bitter about the Seraph's betrayal, I presume?"

[Azrael: Port Royal: Flying Dutchman's Captain's Quarters]
Az smirked at Ajora, nodding his head to the 'girl'. "Oh, please. No lady would have the balls to poison you on a first meeting, Impure or not."
Pushing himself off the wall, the male crossed his arms and gave the scene a once over. The leader that controlled darkness. The puppet he created. The girl that seemed to secrete poison...bah, he wasn't even needed, it seemed.
So, the male's mind wandered. If they said anything, he'd still hear it, but it would seem more like he spaced out in boredom than listening with rapt attention. Of course, only one thing was on the male's mind. And here's a hint. It ain't rated PG-13, or even R. More like...Adults Only.

[Jenny :: Stable Car]
The mage pulled the lollypop out from her mouth as she leaned over to glance back into the bowl of candy. "There should be..." she mumbled to herself as she rummaged through the brightly colored packages before finally pulling out a small red package. She smiled enthusiastically before going to toss them towards the knight."Catch! I wonder if these are all generic brands..."
Jenny looked over to her own chocobo's stall, feeling a pang of guilt. She should hand out with Tobias, ruffle his feathers... feed him greens... play music for him. Yes, she was definitely going to spend time with her feathered friend. Maybe bury her head in his feathers and fall asleep and try to forget everything for the time being.
