She smiled a bit "Alright, Lix it is then" Then she became serious again and looked back at Rose, one way or another she would make the female dragon see sense, then it'll probably be Allen's turn to be dealt with. This situtation was getting really out of hand and without looking she guessed that Allen was having a ball watching all this, so much for him being a friend of Reigne's, what friend would go and do something like for their own amusement?

Allen rolled his eyes at her challenge."Fun sucker.." He said, and crawled along the top of the top of the shelves. He found the exit and headed off to the beach."Just for some R and R." He said trying to find an excuse. He turned into a black blur and headed for the beach nearby.

'Fun?' She thought to herself, how could anyone consider something like this fun? She saw Allen sneak away 'Yeah that's right, leave, while your friend suffers from your sense of "fun", it almost seems like Allen's more of a jerk then Reigne was when he first appeared behind Allen in back at the Student Lounge' She shook her head as she saw Allen disappear in a black blur. She looked back at Rose and Reigne, how was this going to be resolved? She looked back at Faris, she didn't want to leave him alone for to much longer, least he think she would no longer talk to him. Looking back at Rose and Reigne she decided that if this couldn't be resolved any time soon, she would go back over to Faris.

Faris really hated all the noise. He said meekly, "Stop it you two. You're causing a scene and disterbing everyone," however his meek voice did not carry over the sound of their voices. He sighed wearily when something caught his ear.
"K-Kira?" he said. His voice filled with fear and his eyes all but bulged from their sockets. He turned to Uni with the same pained and fearful expression on his face. "Please," he begged. "For your own safty stay away from him. . . I'm afraid that he'll kill you or something just as bad!" Faris gasped and held his heart. It hurt terribly. He still had not recovered from the cursed thing that Kira carried with him. His heart beats had been irregular ever since he had left the lake. "I beg of you . . . please. Joining with Kira means that you hate us too." Faris winced slightly. "It means we'll have no choice in the end . . . if we want to keep living."
Rose finally snapped. "I don't care if he's lying or telling the truth! I know it's all just a game to you in the end! I'm never going to be that special someone for you am I?" Rose's eyes filled with tears. "I thought you were something amazing, a great hero Reigne. Now I know you're not."
Reigne rubbed his cheek. "Y-you like someone else?"
Rose shook her head. "No," Rose admitted. "I just know that there's someone out there for me. That special person can't be you." Rose chewed on her nail a moment. "I'm . . . I'm sorry I slapped you. I was just angry at myself for being such a fool. There are many people in this world and not all of them are bad."
Reigne rubbed his cheek again and grinned. "Ah, you've gone soft Rose. You like humans now don't you?" Reigne grinned. "I understand."

'Is Kira really as bad as they say?' Hearing Faris she turned and looked at him, he was in obivious pain and without really thinking about it she started back over to him, but Rose's commit about not being "that special someone" stopped her dead as she too felt another fresh wave of pain, this time she couldn't surpress her body flinching. Was there anyone out there for her? Or would searching be in vain? She continued over to Faris, she would worry about that later right now he needed help though she had not the faintest clue what she could do for him.

"I trust them..." Lix whispered into Uni's ear. "Kira seemed really rough when you guys helped him..." She finished, and looked towards Faris with an expression that said 'I trust you.'

She was starting to agree with Lix, the more she stayed around them the more she began to think that these dragons were not as bad as Kira had made them sound. Kira....He had seemed more interested in Sabrina and Sarina then he did about convincing another human to side with him, her help seemed to have counted for nothing when those two came in. Was she really that useless as a human? She looked at Faris, she had no idea how she could help him, or how she could be of any help to their side when she had no weapons, fighting skills, powers, and not a whole lot of information about what was going other then the fact that humans and dragons seemed to be enemies somewhere. She helped Faris into one of the computer chairs, not knowing anything else to do or really what to say at the moment.

Lixini realized that the dragons were more like her than most of the people she met. They were transforms. Their human forms were similar to disguises. She felt like turning and flying about the room, although she knew it to be rude. I'm no longer sissy's shy little Lixi. I'm strong, confident Lix. Just Lix. Lixini had found her strength, and now she acknoledged it. "I guess Kira pulled us in, and we must take a side. I say we should side with the dragons, they are trustworthy." She told Uni, now confident. "Some others could be foolish, and try to wage against them, and I realize now that we aren't fools. We can help them. Though I don't know what your power is or anything, I am certain that we can make a mighty impact." Her eyes glowed, something they had never done before. Lixini had unlocked another portion of her mind, along with another power. A lamp flew across the room, and Lixini's eyes stopped glowing. Is there that much I don't know about my kind? Do we all unlock new powers as we grow? So much to learn, I so wish I had Krixion...NO. I am no little baby. I CAN do without my older sister. Her mind settled, and she looked at Uni. "I'm CONFIDENT." She said, for the very first time.

She looked back at Lix "I have no power Lix" she spoke in a voice that sounded defeated and even sad "I have no weapons or fighting skills, I agree with you though that now it does look like we'll have to choose sides and who's side we should choose, but as far as me being any help...to anyone...." she looked away, her bangs now shadowing her eyes "I have no family, I've never known my parents, and until now I never had any friends....I am but a mere human...who's wandered from place to place trying to find....where I belong" remembering was one thing, but finally talking about her past to anyone was another "Others in those places that I have moved to and from have often told me that there was nothing "special" about me and now coming here....compared to everyone else....it looks like that's true....maybe I should just go...how can a human fit in here, when everyone else is either not human or not a normal human? I have nothing and no one....I don't even know if my other two friends still consider me a friend anymore...and already people are starting to use me to cause trouble again just like everywhere else I've been..." she was referring to Allen and how he had used her to cause Rose to go off on Reigne. A single tear suddenly fell to the floor and she forcibly whipped her eyes on her sleeve then stood, her whole body shaking again, shaking with anger at what others had put her through and with sadness at being alone for so long. Her fists clenched as anger started to win over.

"I may not really be human, but I know your special. I saw how you knew how to treat Kira's wounds, but then the others didn't want your help. There are sociaties made to bring others down. How do I know? I got kicked out of my house when I was 7 because of my powers. I've seen at least 15 different towns, 3 of which with people trying to hunt me." Lixini looked at Uni with trust, and held the older girl's hand. "Though I am much younger than you, I have been through as much. But I know you were drawn here for a reason, just as I had been compelled to fly through those woods, reaching this place. Just as I had been drawn to land on you and nobody else. Trust me." Lixini looked at Faris again, thinking a little. She looked back to Uni. "Any human without powers can be just as important as someone with them. If a human were to spread good word, against Kira's, about dragons, there would be less people for them to hide from, even if they can fight back." Lixini looked at Faris, looking him over, trying to think. Address Faris now, she spoke state-like, making herself even more serious. "We're on your side. We both realize that Kira seemed rough, and irresponsible. Kira...the humans he's fighting for, any kills like that must've been defense. Looking at anyone in this room, save Allen, sorry, they wouldn't kill unless absolutely necessary. I know. There are eyes that show a killer, a killer for fun, or a killer for revenge, and you guys don't have them. No, Allen doesn't have them, but seeing what he just did, he might as well. BUT KIRA DOES HAVE THEM." She finished, watching every single reaction in the room, because, though she had just joined this war, she had already fought her hardest battle, the battle for her confidence. Lixini looked again at Uni, realizing she was helping her with her battle, she said, "Uni, anger doesn't help. You just prove others right you just release anger at them. I was angry with my parents for about a year for throwing me out and calling me an atrocious monster, and thunderstorms raged their house for all that time, when I realized that by being angry, I was just proving them right. Those who can control anger are special, those who can control feelings are special, those who can think for themselves are special, but not those who taunt others." She looked at Uni sincerely, her eyes a teary blue, a rain cloud conjuring above her. --- Krixion walked into the library slowly, so that she wouldn't run into anything. Hearing Lixi's voice again, she began to speak. "Lixi?" --- Lixini heard the name Lixi, and knew only one person who would address her that way. Lixini's eyes turned a sunny yellow, and the cloud disappeared. She turned around, and spoke to Uni. "Uni, I'd like you to meet my older sister, Krixion." As she finished, she ran back to Krixion and hugged her joyfully. --- Krixion gladly hugged her sister back, loving every moment of it. "Lixi, your alright." --- Lixini looked up at her sister, saying yes. "I am." Knowing Krixion's power of reading minds, she thought. But my friend...is a little discouraged. She thinks that since she has no powers she isn't special. I know you're the best speaker and the best person at encouraging people I've ever met, so could you please?--- Krixion looked up from her younger sister, looking about where Uni was standing. "Are you sure she really needs it? Have you tried?" Her smile was gentle as she waited for Uni to speak.

She looked back at Lix when the younger girl took her hand, a bit surprised, being as how that's the first tiime someone took her hand like that. As she listened to Lix and watched her she became a bit more surprised at how the younger girl suddenly seemed so wise. The rain cloud forming over their heads caught her attention and as she looked back at Lix she saw that her eyes were now also a blue color. Then she heard someone speak another name for Lix, looking up she saw another girl standing there who was also older then Lix, then she heard Lix say it was her older Krixion and just looked back at her again when she ran over to the other girl. She watched the two for a minute and looked away again as another wave of loneliness hit her, what would it feel like if she had a younger or older brother or sister? She would never know, she had been an only child for all she knew of her family, to be held like that by someone else must feel nice, but other then her new friend Lix who did she have? She hadn't run across her friends Trident and Mikashi for a while and she wasn't sure if Sabrina and Sarina still considered her a friend or not. Glancing over she saw Krixion look up at her, but then she noticed it, Lix's older sister was blind, she turned her head fully to look Krixion not really sure how she knew that but something about Krixion eyes told her. What does one say to someone like that that won't offend them?

Krixion smiled at Uni. "I am not as blind as you think. I can see myself through your eyes. I can read minds, so I can acknoledge the world around me. You needn't worry about insulting me. As for my sister's 'wisdom', well, she lived alone in the wilderness for six years, I would think she learned SOMETHING." Krixion realized Uni's loneliness. "Just resently, my parents abandoned me as well. Uni, if you would like, you could join our family..." The sixteen year old thought for a moment. "Sorry about invading your thoughts, it's kind of the only way I can see. I can tell Lixi's taken a liking to you, by the confident way she introduced me to you and no one else."
Lixini gazed at Krixion lovingly, not realizing Uni's sudden loneliness. Her sister mentioned Uni joining her family, and that meant...but would Krixion have enough power to do it? "My older sister can transfer a little of her powers to other people if she wants, and their powers build as they learn...Krix, is that what you meant, she can really join us?" Lixini asked, giddy as a little kid.
Krixion nodded. "Lixi, I can't believe you remembered all that. You were only five when I told you." She laughed. "But yes, I mean literally becoming part of our family."
Lixini released her sister's hand, running back to Uni. "Do you want to join us?" She asked joyfully, thinking it would be fun to have two older sisters, both being her best friends. Her eyes were still a bright yellow, looking up at Uni.

She studied Krixion for a moment, guessing that Lix's older sister was around about the same age as her, but she looked like she might be a bit younger. If her guess was right, and she joined them, that would then make her the older sister then, wouldn't it?. The seventeen year old looked between the two girls for a few minutes as she tried to decide. The first thing that came to mind was that she wouldn't be alone anymore and that it might be fun having two sisters. Little did any know what would happen if she did for you see, on Uni's first day when the group of four saved her, that she did attain a power. Mikashi had used his blood to heal her wounds and ever since then her own blood had been changing, still human though she was and would be, Mikashi's blood would not be distinquishable from hers. It was hers now entirely, the blood that ran through her veins, though no longer that of normal human blood. What powers would awaken if she accepted Krixion's offer? She looked down at Lix "You really want me to?" (lol, kind turned into a narrator there for this post)

"Yes." One word was enough to describe Lixini's feelings, a little girl who had just be rejoined with her sister.
Krixion smiled, and spoke again. "I understand that you may have met Lixi as an owl, and you may need a little more information about that before taking my offer. The powers end up different for everyone, but there is one similarity that hasn't been broken yet. We all turn into barn owls at night, no matter what." Krixion had been concerned that Uni might think differently about any decision that she was given more information about.
Lixini thought a bit, nervous. "I never met my REAL family. I got into the family the same way you would. Krixion found me on the street in the middle of a storm when I was just a new born, and she was five. She transfered a little of her powers to me, on purpose. Krixion had been an orphan then, also having been abandoned by her previous parents, but she for her powers." Lixini looked at Uni, hoping that this would explain the openess towards a new member of the family. "So, me and Krixion aren't really sisters, we just became sisters."
Krixion nodded, to show Uni that it was true. "The last family we both got adopted into was harshest. They didn't take us back to the orphanage, no, they just threw us into the woods. We don't even know their first names."

"Always into a barn owl at night" She repeated, the thought sounded interesting, being able to fly around, but she knew that barn owls had to watch out for larger predatory birds and other predators. Still, being part of a family, the risks sounded worth it, and little Lix sounded thrilled with the idea at having another older sister. She could relate for she had never known her real parents either and never knew what they were like. She had been living with a housekeeper named Hannah for as long as she could remember and Hannah had always taken care of her. She smiled at the younger girl and walked over to Krixion "What do I need to do?"
