Jaden growled and moved towards the bedroom to get some pants before flicking his ears up in surprise. "Where's my jacket?" His look was one of extreme panic.

Razu held up Jaden's jacket which he had picked up at the middle of the fight and threw in his bag. He said calmly,"I don't remember if she had perfume on but her name was Hazel and she had black hair and icy blue eyes. Pretty tall and slim." He paused and allowed his memory to fly back to where she was talking to Layna. He didn't remember much because he had faded back into his tormented past but he did remember them talking about Gabe...and,"Oh! I remember...I only just caught it but she said it twice! Her name is Hazel!"

Jaden actually snatched his jacket back with his wounded right hand much more vigorously than was needed, if the material had been much weaker it would have been torn asunder easily. Growling to himself he rummaged through the pockets before he forced his badly wounded fingers on the thing he had thought might be lost.

"I hope that hunting down this vampire actually has a point to it besides just going on a wild goose chase to find a specific vampiric individual with whom you have slight quarrel. She's a vampire but she's a friend of Daiguren's so I'm assuming that means that she got involved in your little fight somehow. Anything ability-wise that I can expect from her? Is she physically tough, really fast, a psychic, or something else?" She didn't like hunting down a target blindly without any info on them at all so she decided to pry just a bit more to see what exactly was going on and to get a better take on things.
Sibyl noticed Jaden's irrational irritation though she did expect that he'd be more irritable than normal due to the fact that he was harmed but she saw it as no reason to make everyone else miserable. "What exactly," Sibyl decided to ask Jaden, having noticed how frantic he was for the jacket and how he'd taken something out of his pocket, "is in that coat that's so important to you? You're freaking out over it so it must be of very high significance if it's worth that big a deal."

Jaden glared at Sibyl before turning away. There where quite a few open wounds open on his right hand so the silver burned terribly and actually set up some spirals of smoke from his fist. "It's none of your business." he muttered before turning away. "The girls telekinetic and annoying. Now both of you leave." he crossed into the bedroom and slammed the door shut with a definite note of finality to it.

Sibyl rolled her eyes at Jaden's small tantrum and scene as he slammed his door and told her to get out of his place. Since he was her Alpha and this was his territory, she decided that she would stand down and leave as she'd been instructed. As for hunting down some stupid vampire girl that would probably end up being a waste of time, she wasn't so sure she was going to do that. That and she still had yet to get back to her sister since she'd been worried about Jaden and apparently had been worrying with good reason. However, she decided that it wasn't her task to babysit him and if he was going to go out getting himself hurt and not asking for assistance then it was a problem she was unable to do anything about.
However, the softer human side of her wanted to stay to make sure that he was alright and that he'd been tended to properly. Before she actually forced herself to leave, she merely stood there for a few minutes with a blank expression on her face, wondering what to do next. However, her more sensible side soon regained control over her senses and her mind and she decided that she was going to, at the very least, get out of Jaden's apartment as he'd told her. Her exit was almost silent but for the small click of the door opening and shutting behind her.

Razu followed Sibyl pouting slightly," I was so nice and this is what I get." He shrugged and picked up the discarded cat body and whistled for Steffon to follow. He paused and told Jaden through the door,"I'll be at my new apartment if you need me." He left his address on the table and left.

Jaden slowly turned around and slid down to the floor. In the dim light of the room he stared up at the ceiling before glancing at his burned hand and forcing the digits open. In his palm was the ornate silver crescent that still sizzled his flesh. His tears had dried up so many decades ago, but if he had been able to cry this might have been a time that he would have. Dropping his hand down to the ground beside him he gazed up and past the ceiling. He had been fighting another mate killer and they had gotten away again, was this some horrible pattern now? Raw fingertips caressed the cool metal in his hand and his eyes unfocused slightly. A long and traumatic life had distorted some memories beyond recovery but not those ones. Not with her. That was so clear to him even now...
He had been running through the dark woods for several miles even though he had left his pursuers behind long ago. Almost two months after he had run from the family castle and this was the first time he had stooped to stealing to survive, and of course the first time he tried it he was caught. Still... his stomach was full and he was full of energy... up until the sharp stabbing pain that sent him sprawling face down among the roots and nearly sending his head into a tree. "Oh my god I'm sorry!" What was that beautiful sound? So sweet and kind. Next thing he knew there was the sharp pain again as something was pulled out of his back. "I didn't mean to hit somebody with the dagger, I swear I thought you were an animal." With the pain subsiding quickly he rolled over and got his first glimpse of the face to match that musical voice. She was beautiful, pale white with long obsidian hair and the most beautiful green eyes of any woman he had ever seen. He was amazed that something so gorgeous could exist. "I swear I was only hunting." she said again with the slightest of blushes to offset the white of her face. "I'm sorry I hurt you, let's get you..." She paused and the blush subsided before she took hold of the tips of his newly form wolf ears and rubbed them. "Never seen a Lycan with ears like this." she said musingly. He gasped though this should have been obvious by now. What was he supposed to do? Kill her? Out of the question. But what was he supposed to do? "H-how?..." The question was their but it just wouldn't come. "Because I'm a vampire silly boy." she said with a broad smile to display her fangs. "And you have that wild look about you." She was still rubbing his ears. "Do you have a name Mr. Wolf?" He really couldn't help but blush now. Things had changed so quickly. Turning slightly he wanted to escape that emerald gaze. "I don't like it." he muttered. "I'm sure you didn't choose it yourself so you're entitled not to like it." the vampire said kindly as she let go of his ears and sat up with another blush. "But my name's Jade. I'm happy to meet you Mr. Wolf."

A day later and he was struggling into the pants that the vampire had brought back to him. It was really kind of her but the pants were too small. Even so what little etiquette his brother had managed to teach him demanded that he be polite about it. "You know you have a tail." Jade said musingly. He blushed furiously at this though he didn't know why. "I do not." he denied at little stronger than was necessary. "Of course you do." she said pointing to his butt. "I can see it through those pants. It's a tiny little thing but it's there." she looked suspiciously at him. "I've never met a Lycan with a tail in human form. Are you sure that you're really a Lycan and not a demon?" He didn't know why he was being so defensive towards her now but that was just irritating him. "I told you that I'm a pure blood." he muttered angrily. "It must have something to do with that." Personally he didn't recall having a tail back in the dungeons. Jade shook her head in slight disagreement. "My coven had a pure blood chained in the dungeons that I talked with sometimes and even she didn't have a tail or ears. It must mean that there's something sort of different about you." He looked down at the forest floor before sliding down to sit on it. "I know I'm different." he muttered. The vampiress was there and wrapped her arms around his broad shoulders. "I'm sorry." she muttered. "I didn't mean to touch on a sore subject." She sighed slightly. "I'm not going anywhere though for a long time... We could talk about it... Mr. Wolf..." She smiled toothily at him. Something like that was not something he was used to. The young Lycan couldn't help but stare back into those green eyes and submit.

Sibyl first tried the door to the apartment to see if it happened to be locked and like usual, it was not locked so she simply allowed herself into Jaden's apartment. "Jaden," Sibyl called softly though her nose already knew he was there, "are you still here?" It'd been a few days and from what she could see, he hadn't really ended up moving or getting out of his place at all the previous time she'd been kicked out. "Have you been out," Sibyl asked with her soft voice, "of your apartment at all these past few days? Are you in some sort of coma?"
She used her nose to figure out which room he was in, noting the odd scent of burnt skin and travelled down the hallway to find him in the bedroom. However, he was not asleep on the bed but his tall form was huddled upon the floor. He looked so vulnerable and so helpless and Sibyl's nagging human need to nurture him immediately assailed her. Her human side also flared up at the sight of how absolutely beautiful he appeared as he laid there on the floor and that was when she noticed something clasped in his hand. It was a necklace of some sort and she could smell the burning skin. Of course she decided that she would have to remove it from his hand since it was causing him physical harm though it was minimal.
Sibyl knelt down in one fluid movement and hastily snatched the necklace from his outrested hand but not before telling him what she was doing with her soft, comforting voice. "Jaden, the necklace you're holding is hurting you, I'm going to take it away so it doesn't hurt you anymore. I'm putting it up on the bedside table." And that was exactly what she did. Once she snatched the necklace that seemed so small in his powerful yet almost dainty hand, she deposited it on the bedside table just as she'd told him she would. Not that he seemed to be in any responsive state so she wasn't even certain if he'd heard her.
Next she decided that him lying on the floor was no good and that he should at least have the comfort of the bed that happened to be directly beside where he'd flopped over onto the floor. So, without a second thought she lifted him with complete and utter ease while being as cautious and mindful as possible and set his tall, handsome form onto the bed. However, she soon found out that it'd been a bad idea on her part since she found herself kneeling at the side of the bed, staring over at Jaden and realizing just how beautiful he truly was. Of course, that fired up her teenage horomones and yet again she found herself smitten with her Alpha that was probably almost a millenium older than her.
The fact that Jaden was so much older than her did not bother either side of her in the least. She simply continued to kneel beside the bed and watched Jaden in anticipation like a small child would watch for the Easter Bunny or Santa Clause on either of their respective seasonal appearances. However, her heart glowed with happiness to be able to be so close to him and soon enough she found her chin on his chest, looking up at his unconscious form. She looked like a wolf as she rested her chin on his chest, the gesture was more wolf-like than human-like.

They had been walking together for several nights and he hadn't stopped talking once, his life was put day by day into his words. Finally they came to rest under a large tree, him at the base and she a few branches up. Truly through the entire thing he was grateful she hadn't interrupted him once. Silence spread through the clearing as his story ended, it was almost impossible to tell how long before her clear voice shifted the sound back into the forest. "You've really had it rough." she said kindly, not with any form of sarcasm but genuine feeling to it. "I'm sure there there are worse lives." he muttered, kicking a root and actually cracking it accidentally. "Not many though." Jade said flipping down from her perch to sit next to him. "Look at me. I was raised to be an assassin for one of the larger European Covens. I was really good at it too, But then I just... ended up caring about people I was hurting..." Her green eyes seemed to drift off into some distant memories as she touched the silver necklace around her neck with the same habit one person does for protection. "Is that why you're out here?" The Wolf asked politely. "You're running too?" The sorrow diminished in the green eyes as they focused in on his dull red ones. "Basically." She gave him the same smile she had been wearing when they first met and took hold of his hand gently. "Want to at least run away together?" Happiness had always been a rarity in his life but he could feel it welling within his chest now. "Yes. I'd love to run away with you."
Jaden's eyes snapped into focus as he glared at the ceiling. Where was the forest? Oh that was right... he was in New York now. He flexed his fingers since his wounds were healed completely. "Where's the necklace?" he snarled at no one in particular.

When Jaden's eyes unexpectedly snapped open and he began speaking, Sibyl's chin reflexively snapped upwards, preparing her for a possible attack from the Alpha. Sibyl raised her palm after listening to his question to show him there was an indent of Jaden's necklace on it since she hadn't wanted to grasp it by the chord it dangled from in fear that it would snap if Jaden was gripping it too tightly. "You were burning yourself," Sibyl explained in her soft, soothing voice, "so I took it away from you so that you wouldn't be hurting yourself with it." It was a genuine concern but she supposed it wasn't harming him that badly. "It's just on the nightstand over there," she pointed to it, "and I can get it for you if you really want it though I don't see why you'd want to hold it if it burns you."
"Next I should probably ask you," she stated with a touch of concern though she was trying to sound business-like, "why you've been sitting around in this room for days on end. Are you alright?" She inspected him and he seemed to have healed up from the injuries that he'd sustained quite a few days ago. "Are you resting some internal injuries or what's happening with you? You kicked me out of your house and demanded that necklace like some sort of madman so I'm assuming it has some sort of sentimental value to you otherwise you probably wouldn't burn yourself with it the way you do."
Sibyl was preparing to launch into her report on Luther but she figured she'd spare Jaden for the time being since he didn't seem all that coherent anyhow. She wasn't sure if the information would be processed by him in his current state since he seemed fairly out of it, which was odd because she hadn't known him to be that way before. "Did Myyth," she finally decided to ask the apparently lonely lycan, "give you that necklace for some odd reason? I don't think she'd issue you a silver necklace but then again I don't know her so she could've done anything for all I know. Maybe she thought your burning skin was good for you somehow, I don't know, I'm babbling." She silenced herself and transitioned from kneeling beside the bed to sitting beside the bed.

Jaden listened half heartedly before reaching over and taking hold of the necklace with his uninjured hand. Surprisingly this time smoke didn't rise from his knuckles. "Touching silver only hurts me when I have open wounds." he muttered as he stroked the necklace. "And no, Myythren didn't give it to me." He yawned and shifted slightly in his position on the bed as several of his joints popped. "My body fixes itself. I merely needed time to rest." Growling at nothing in particular he shifted his frame and rolled over, his bushy black tail facing Sibyl now. "If you wish to be helpful then bring me food. I haven't eaten in a long time apparently."

Sibyl rolled her eyes as Jaden once again chose to turn her into his little chore girl or house maid/butler that brought him his food on a platter. "Would you like that," Sibyl asked sarcastically, "served on a silver platter as well, then? Since you're apparently only affected by it if your skin's cut open? If you're fully healed I don't understand why you can't get some food yourself but whatever. I suppose I've done it before, what's another time?" She was obviously displeased by his request, it wasn't that she didn't particularly want to do it, it was the fact that Jaden was acting like a jerk. Then again, him being fairly jerk-ish was normal so she supposed she should be happy about it.
The wolf rose from her knees and brought herself to stand on her feet, heels touching the ground since she sometimes tended to stand on her tippy toes. "If I'm going to be your cook, though I can't cook so I'll be your delivery person, I need to know what you're wanting to eat." She knew that the time before when she'd gotten him food that she'd hunted it down for him but he was more human than she was and perhaps would want something less animalistic and something more fit for a human. In other words, something a human wouldn't get food poisoning from.

Jaden stood up and crossed the room actually leaving Sibyl for once. He was muttering something depressingly incoherent but didn't seem aware of it as he went to the kitchen. Obviously he had left something in the fridge, Myyth hadn't been the only one to store things in it. He opened the stainless steel door and began rummaging for something that had enough meat on it.
