Vincent North True, but it is Ed that is called the Full Metal Alchemist and its because he has a metal arm and leg. I belive it was a title, because most of what he makes with his alchemy is metal... or maybe just because he's a really good alchemist. It wouln't be FULL metal alchemist if he was only partially metal. They're not stupid like that.

actually, the full metal part pertains to the fact that he is partially metal and that he works on metal. most FMA's are fully metal, actually, so al is sometimes mistaken as the alchemist. yeah. I had a much better explanation, but it didn't post mad
