Kai let her cling, she knew it was for comfort, and in a way she was clinging back as well. {My mother is going to kill me... I don't think I'll get a warning for this one....} They soon get to her office.

Ryu was worried. She didn't want Kai to get in trouble because of her painting. My painting.. her heart skipped a beat.. and not in a good way. Her eyes watered and tears began to stream down her face.
"Mrs. Boils.." Ryu started but was cut off "You guys just have been getting in lots of trouble lately. Listen.. I dont want to punish you Kai for sticking up for Ryu.." Dr. Boils sighs. "Im going to give you ISS. I know you have good grades and I dont want you to miss out completely on your school work.." She looks to them both each. "Im going to put a stop to this. I promise you."
She looks at Ryu. "Why dont you take the rest of the day off?" Ryu's voice is scratchy. "I dont want to go anywhere without Kai.." Ryu squeezed Kai's hand lightly.

Kai looked to Ryu. She looks to Dr. Boils. "May I? I don't think it would be a good idea to leave Ryu alone right now. And you shouldn't give me a ISS Dr. Boils. Thats not fair. Your being to easy." She states, very honset she is.

Dr. Boils sighs. "I know.. but I also know what you're going thru. It's not easy being gay or gay friendly in a homophobic school." She smiles sadly. "Dont worry about it."

Kai's eye twitches. {"...being gay or gay friendly in a homophomic school...."} It stuck in her head. She nods though. "If you don't mind. I think it would be best if I took Ryu home, and I'll just surve an extra day in ISS for today." She trys to make an agreement.

"Alright then." Dr. Boils says. "You too get some rest or something. Ryu.. Im sorry about you painting and I hope you start to feel better."
Ryu nods half in her own world and half in the real world. She had drifted off while Kai and Dr. Boils were talking.

Kai drops Ryu off at her car, though she was going to drive. "Hold on Ryu. I need to get something really fast. Just wait in the car." She runs inside, grabing the painting from the office and sneeking it into the trunk of the car. {I'll fix it... I don't care if she wants me too or not.... I think it would be good for her.} "Well just stop at my place." She states, for it not seeming like Ryu really cared or was really in the mood.
They head in side. Kai walks over to the frige. "You hunrgy? I'll make us some food." She offers.

"No Kai.. You dont have to make any food for me. Go ahead an make something for yourself. I'll probably just puke it up anyways.." She sits down on the couch and looks down at her hands. They were red and they stung pretty bad.. My dream..

Kai walked over, wraping an arm around her shoulders, laying her head down on her shoulder. "Shh. You can sleep." She pulls her down onto the chouch with her, wraping her arms around her protectively. "Nothings going to happen... I've got a hold of you."

Ryu wraps her arms around Kai. "It was horrible.. I saw her sitting in the same place that she was sitting last night. Just like my painting.." Tears began streaming out of her eyes again. "I walked up to her and touched her shoulder. At first she was shocked but then she smiled to me. She began to form words with her lips.. but I coudn't hear what she said. Then suddenly I was knocked back.. flames.. and I watched her.. " She began sobbing and couldn't finished. She burried her face into Kai's neck and cried.

Kai held her close, humming the song that she had sang earlyer. "Its ok Ryu-san, you don't have to say anymore."

She just layed there and cried into Kai's neck. She didn't want to be anywhere else than in Kai's arms. And as Kai hummed that calming song to her she fell asleep once more. She dreamed. It was the same dream she had had last night. She felt uneasy when as she touched the girl's shoulder. The girl turned to her and again formed words with her lips. This time Ryu heard them. "I love you" is what she heard. Ryu bent down and kissed her softly.

Kai had closed her eyes, this time she cahnged songs, still singing softly even though Ryu had long ago fell asleep with in her arms.
