Lotusleaf bends his head slightly, trying to find comfort in her fur. He had never realized just how soft she was compared to him, and how her scent seemed to soak his entire body. She was the only one whom he wanted comfort from, the only one he felt safe enough to spill his heart out to.
"I saw fur in his claws..." he mewed to her, answering her quesion. "HIS claws. And he didn't wash his paws clean....."
Then he hung his head even more.
"I KNEW it was Silentcloud who did it, yet I never spoke a word. I was too horrified and greif stricken to care. If I had only told Showerstar...."
He broke off agian, then a whisper barely escapes him, almost to soft for even himself to hear.
"I shouldn't be dumping all this on you....I'm sorry..." he mewed quietly.
Spottedwind and Talonstride gaze at Nightpool and Showerstar intently, waiting to go. (sorry. Didn't know what else to put)

Amberpelt lead the two apprentices right to the boarder of EarthClan. "May StarClan light your path!" she called out, before padding back to her own camp.

"Thanks" Berrypaw yowled out to the Fireclan warrior, turning back to Leafpaw she mewed,"Come on Leafpaw" She then ran through Earthclan.

Amberpelt turned back to camp, padding over to Showerstar. "Showerstar, I have urgent news," she said.

(No were near Sanity requested that I play Orangenight for her until the 11th or 12th of July. Please forgive me if I mess up, I don't really know what's going on in Fireclan. )
Orangenight sat outside of the nursery and watched as the kits tumbled and played around her. She looked up as an unfamiliar apprentice entered the camp. Something must be going on in one of the other clans. She turned her attention back to the kits. Whatever was going on, it wasn't her business.

((Ugh, I don't even know what's going on anymore, either...))
Duskfeather listened carefully. Somehow, she didn't feel any differently about Lotusleaf, after he stated what he had just said. "Don't be sorry." She meowed. "We all had our suspicions, and didn't say anything, either....all these things must happen for a reason..." She meowed. She pressed deeper into Lotusleaf's black fur. "You've got the weight of the world on your shoulders. It's not unfair for me to carry some." She meowed.
"You could come with us..." Showerstar meowed. "I think we can spare at least one strong warrior from camp." he meowed to Nightpool. They were just about to leave. and then Amberpelt appeared again. "Yes?" he meowed with patience, but it was obvious time was running short.

Amberpelt let out a long breath. "I just received word from two MoonClan apprentices," she began hesitantly. "Dawnstar was attacked by her deputy, Eaglefrost, after he hurt one of their kits. He's been banished from the Clan, but Berrypaw, the apprentice, said to be on a lookout for him."

Featherkit chased her brother out of the nursery. "Stormkit!! That was really mean!!" She stopped to shake the moss out of her fur. "I'll get you back!"
Stormkit looked back at his litermate. "You had it comeing!" He spat at her. That's what you get when you try to mother me..... He thought.

Lotusleaf sighs deeply, not wishing to move.
"I know but...." he begins to retort, then stops after only those few words.
He didn't feel like arguing with her, he had wasted to much energy already, worried to much, burdened to much. The only thing he felt like doing now was to stand there with the she-cat comforting him. Perhaps it was well for him to bestow some of his pain on someone else instead of keeping it in, waiting for it to turn to guilt. Maybe it was okay for a deputy to seek the help of the clanmates he was supposed to protect. What if it was allowable for him to let something, or someone, fill in the piece of him left empty when Whitewind died.
"Thank you....." he mewed to Dawnfeather with the tinyest of whispers, one that he barely even heard himself.
Talonstride and Spottedwind gaze at Amberpelt in suprise.
"Eaglefrost is a rouge now?" Spottedwind couldn't help but exclaim in surprise.
Her brother Talonstride just narrows his eyes the smallest amount, a subdued look of fierce determination and protectiveness hidden in them.

Amberpelt nodded as her kits scrambled under her, crouching in fear. "I know that I'm not deputy, but I think that we should have a strict boarder patrol," she said meekly, flicking her ears as the deputy fixed her with his stern gaze. "That way, Eaglefrost can't get into our camp, and take our kits."
Fernkit let out a squeal of fright. Her and her sister Autumnkit trembled, while Amberpelt covered their ears in soothing licks. "There there, young ones," she murmured soothingly as she herded them back towards the nursery. "I'll be there in a moment. Go stay with Orangenight for now."

Showerstar narrowed his eyes. Another traitor. "Yes, that is actually where we are heading now." He meowed to Amberpelt. "Thank you, Amberpelt. This is important news, indeed." He meowed. Dustpaw narrowed her eyes, her fur bristled in the slightest amount possible.
Duskfeather buried her face in his fur. It didn't feel right to pull away, she wanted to stay that way for some reason. She wished Lotusleaf didn't have to bear all of this. He was incredibly strong to carry on this way for so long.

Amberpelt licked her deputy's shoulder respectfully. "I'll make sure the kits stay calm," she said.
