Brice, now in her adult form, came running as fast as she could (dragging three suitcases along with her) towards the boat. Her father was so happy with her new growth, he wouldn't let her leave!
"Wait! Wait! I'm coming! I'm coming! Don't leave yet!!" She yelled out the entire way up the dock.
"I'm here!" She said leaping onto the ship with a triumphant (and very exasperated) grin on her face and waited for someone to notice her so she could apologize, get directions on where to check in and OF COURSE show off her new adultness.

Sage got up and plopped Sam onto the ground. "Now lets go look for people we know" Sage said as she wiped the dirt off of her fur Sam sat quietly with her butt on the ground still in shock that her sister just threw her on the ground. "Why'd you do that?" Sage offered her paw to her little sister to help her up. "You were killing my back and crushing my lungs, I needed to breathe you know!" Sam took her sisters paw and pulled herself up. "I'm sorry, I guess I was too excited"
Sage tugged on Sams paw a little. "Now lets go". Sam smiled and nodded. "Can we run?" Sage nodded yes and began to ran with her little sister around the ship, the next thing they both knew was hitting a Monkey" As Sage got up and rubbed her skull she noticed it was the same monkey that she tried to make friends with when she was a child. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry Brice, I didn't see you there!!" Sage offered her paw to Brice with a nervous smile on. Sam already pulled herself up and hid behind her big sister, she had never seen Brice before and didn't know if she was nice or not.

As Brice got ran into she toppled over with a little scream and a pouty look as she examined the kulprits. She probably deserved it for being so late... After she stood back up she remembered who the two were. "Awh, it's alright.. You're coming on the trip? That's awesome! And who's this little one?" She asked looking down at Sam. "She's so cute!"

Sage wiped the sweat off her skull "Whew! Yeah we're going on the trip" Sage looked down at Sam who was hiding behind Sage's legs "This is my little sister Sam"
Sam scooted infront of her sister and looked up at Brice. "Hello"

Brice smiled and squeed a little, "Aww aren't you just the cutest little thing?! So unique... I'm jealous." After a little wink to Sam she looked around then to Sage. "Kailee's not coming is she?... Not important, where do I check in at and see where I'll be rooming?" Brice wasn't 100% sure she was asking the right people for directions, but they had been there longer than her, so they'd do.

Brick had paced back and forth on the deck long enough to work himself into quite an accute anger. He decided that this was all Luna's fault and that he needed to confront her right now. Before they got underway and before he took that impure to the island. Yes that was what needed doing.
But once he got to Luna's cabin, The yellow eared Islander found nothing but her meager luggage. With an angry sigh he knocked on Vayle's cabin, only to be informed that Luna was most likely wandering the ship.... the heck with that.
"LUNA! LUUUUNA!" He bellowed the black eared woman's name across the ship... surely everyone could hear... and he traveled down to the middle deck where the bunks were in order to be better heard.
Luna shrunk back as Banda snapped at her, and then almost imediately took up the careful guarded demeanor that was her nature back on the island. She slowly slid out of the hammock letting her feet hit the floor. "You know what? It's me. I bring out the worst in people." She laid a hand on the doorknob. "I'll just go and... "
"LLLUUUUUUUNA! NOW! I NEED TO TALK TO YOU NOW!"
Luna merely blinked and opened the door. Brick streamed past, not noticing her at all and so she stepped out behind him. "What are you? Crazy? I'm right here."
"You... You let an impure aboard! Now there's an impure who thinks she's going to the island. Do you know what that means?" He was steaming, and visibly upset.... until he looked over Luna's shoulder and saw Banda standing there.... humanoid ears and all. .... .... .... .... .... ... "How many impures are there on my ship Luna? How many?" The last two sentances were dead calm... much scarier that the first.
Seeing as to how Brick was standing right outside Banda and Delia's bunk, and Gus and Mauli's bunk was right across the small hall... it wasn't hard for both of them to hear everything Brick had said... and Gus's long ears flattened out behind him as he tried his best to sink away from both the door and Mauli at the same time.
((feel free to respond... in any way your characters see fit. ^_^ You won't get booted from the ship and Brick can handle anything you can throw at him ^_^ including Mauli XD ))

At the captain's outburst, Mauli rolled her eyes, then flashed a reassuring grin at Gus. She picked up her rag again, slipped out into the hallway, and bowed elegantly towards Brick.
"Someone call for a lowdown scummy halfblood?" She asked, tilting her head to one side.

"Luna..." He sighed and stepped after her to catch her with a hand on her arm. "I didn't mean it, I'm just on edge with Venoch right outside and--" And the door swung open and there was Brick. Banda let his hand fall, taking a small step back towards the girl on the hammock, who had by this time stopped swinging to peek uncertainly from her perch, curious as to what all the yelling was about. When the shouting did end, however, the tone that replaced it left Banda wishing the harsh anger would return in its place. There was something altogether unnerving about the underlying hatred in Brick's voice; it reminded him of Venoch.
Banda remained where he was a moment longer, then turned his back on the pair and the newly-arrived Mauli, stepping with forced calm back over to Delia and offering her a reassuring smile.

Brick turned and glared back at Mauli... somehow having both her and Banda here in the same proximity was just driving his predudice up the wall. He could hardly take it as he turned back to Luna... "How... many...."
Luna's eyes went wide as she counted in her head... Mauli wasn't helping any, but what was done was done... "Two, Brick. Mauli, behind you... and this is Banda." Luna knew what was coming next and she waited patiently for it. She was no stranger to being yelled at.
"How dare you! Get them both off my ship right now! NOW! I won't take impures to Origin Island. I won't break the commandment!"
Luna just stared back in response. The stare was calm and controlled, but after a short while she spoke. "You promised. I'm sorry, Brick. I love you with all my heart. You're my role model, and if anybody ever taught me never to break a promise, it was you. I won't let you break it now. Banda and Mauli are really good people. They'll do you more good here than you think.... maybe it's time the commandment was broken... you ever consider that?"
"You... you... Tricked me." the words came out halting and pained. It was obvious that he wasn't going to have them kicked off the ship. ... oh he wanted them off the ship, but Brick was a man of his word. He'd NEVER go back on a promise. "How could you? I'll be a laughing stock."
"Oh quit it, you baby! Look at the crew the committie assigned to you. You're already a laughing stock... besides." She paused a moment. "I know something that will shock the Committie."
"wh... what?"
"Almost half the Skull Monkeys living here on the mainland are impure... some of them have gotten married and had children. There's a whole second generation of impures, Brick, and you know what?" She stepped towards him and ran a finger over one of her furry origin ears. "Their kids all look like us... they've got the Skull Monkey ears, and the bushy tails... And Brick, they were born without Smog..."
"Like us, without smog?" He seemed astonished.... "That's not... not possible..."
"I promise." She grinned. "It worked Brick... the commandment is already broken. It worked." she shook her head. "Besides... they're all so much smarter than we are... they never had the smog until recently, and so they've had good Dna to kick around and mature on. They can really help us... please?"
Brick stood, unmoving for a moment before he broke. He wasn't happy about it, but it was obvious that there was something to what Luna had said. Something that was well on it's way to changing Brick's mind about something. When he broke his stance, he simply walked back updeck to where he could see the sun and smell the fresh air. "I don't care if you're all here, we're leaving. Now. Stow your belongings away and if you come up deck then stay the hell out of my way... Ruttun! Get your tail up here and wind this lass.... let's get the hell out of this rotten smelling port." The last part was spoken almost out of earshot, obviously to one of the five crew.
Luna turned to Banda and smiled sadly. She mouthed the words, I'm sorry, and then turned, taking herself back to her cabin.
Gus had watched through the open door. "This is going to be a fun trip." But he didnt' sound as if he meant it at all.

Banda kept his back to the arguing pair, arms folded across his stomach, and soon turned his eyes away from Delia to focus on nothing in particular--the porthole, perhaps, and the murky water leaking from it down the wall. About midway through the argument, Delia finally slid off the hammock and ran forward the short few steps to Banda, ducking to hide under his ever-present old coat, and provoking a smile from the older SM.
Words were not needed. Speech was uncommon between the two. For the longest time, he hadn't been able to hear, and she hadn't been able to speak, and so they had refrained from it almost entirely. There were many ways to communicate without speaking.
With his back to Luna, her apology went utterly unnoticed. Indeed, it took Banda a moment to realize she was good, but he wasn't terribly upset by the fact when he did. He had a feeling they wouldn't be speaking much on this trip, himself and Luna. Especially if Brick had anything to do with it. Of course, if Brick had his way, they would either be tossed back on shore in the next couple of minutes, or... "I think we're going to be down here for a lot of the trip, Dee. We should probably see if we can make the place remotely inhabitable."

Mauli just stood and listened as Brick and Luna went at it, and finally chuckled as Brick left. Ooh, he WAS angry... But Luna was right. Mauli didn't quite understand what this commandment was, or why it was so important, but if SMs like her Kailee had furry ears too, how could it NOT be broken? She turned back towards Gus.
"Oh yeah, we're definitely gonna have some fun." She replied, flashing the same grin that had been showing up on her face like the plague ever since she had boarded. Then, she turned, tapping Banda on the shoulder.
"'Ve been told to give this place a good cleaning..." She started, not even waiting for him to turn, "...And after i've finished with my own room, i'd be glad to get started on yours."

Sam smiled and thanked Brice for the compliment and went right back to hiding behind her sisters leg.
Sage rubbed her skull and let out a nervous laugh."I'm not sure, We haven't really met everyone here yet and we have no idea where thr rooms are, we had to ask Nell about ours."
Sam heard her sister talking about the rooms. "We still don't know where every thing is"

Brice wasn't completly familiar with who exactly all these people were. But she did know that Mauli was going to be on the ship! Mauli was the most knowlegable person she knew when it came to ships, even if this one wasn't hers. "Well, I'll talk to you two later. Okay? I'm going to try to find someone." With a smile she hugged Sage quickly and then took off, carrying her luggage around like a tourist lost in a forigen city.
In her wandering around, she heard some male voice screaming. Out of pure curiosity, she slowly crept to where all the commotion was, making sure to stay out of the way and out of people's business... While still listening.

Nell popped her stawhat covered head out of her cabin as she heard Brick's footsteps leaving. She'd had the pleasure of meeting Brick before, and she had made her mind up before she even set foot on the boat to avoid the man at all costs.
She did indeed see Brick retreating... and she also saw Brice standing at the corner of the hallway looking lost and confused. ... so Nell called out to her. "Brice! Brice! Down here. Hey roomie." She smiled at the young Smo. "nice suitcase."

Roomie? Finally! A word of comfort. Brice's smile brightened up and she pulled her things down to Nell and after giving her a very releaved look she put her stuff on the bed that had nothing on it, assuming it was hers.
"Like, you really have no idea... This is going to be like so much fun! I totally can't wait!"
After arranging things so she could sit down, in less than two seconds she was right back up.
"I really want to go and explore the ship.. We'll talk later, alright? Alright!" And with that short little jolt of blonde she headed out the door she had just come through, randomly roaming around the ship, anxious to not be on the same land as her family.
