i've just noticed something that Eternal mentioned somewhere.
you can demolish your neohome, sell the land back to the bank and move somewhere else.
i'm kind of tempted by this, my house has 15 rooms, but they're all bamboo apart from the purkle chill out lounge which is cloud, so they didn't cost a great deal to create.
i think i will move out to mystery island, once i have more of an idea of how i want my home to look, i'm not very good at creating layouts from scratch, not if you can't modify them like you can on the sims. i have to go looking at other people's home to get some inspiration, and to see what the other room styles look like.
this of course will mean i actually have to spend some time on Neo and earn some points!
but i may get a head start on things with some of the lovely items that i'm receiving this week as MOTW xd
i have put all the things back in my neohome today and the old glitches are getting on my nerves again!
i set my bedroom up, fresh bamboo bed, 2 sets of pretty pink pilows piled up on top of the pillows, cream rug under the bottom end of the bed.
when i saved it the pillows disappeared beneath the bed and the rug was on top of it! can anyone help with this? do you need to be really precise with the ammounts that you increase the height of objects?
i have the same trouble when i try the put the bathroom sink on top of a unit

i can help you jelly.....i had the same problem until i contacted one of the people who made the neohome spotlite...luckily she was a very nice person and was willing to help....
this is what you do.....it is a problem with your depths....what you need to do is click on the item...if your rug is on top..the click it...make sure to unlock it then at the bottom left hand side you will see depth...here is a trick to keep you from clicking forever...hold your shift key and click the arrows...that will deduct 10 each time....keep deducting until you finally see the other items start to come on top of the rug ......now..another trick...if you want to sit something caticornered....hold your shift key and click rotate....that will slowly turn the item at an angle.....if you need any more help just let me know 3nodding wink

yeah, i did all that before, i have my bed on a diagonal in the corner.
i remember last time i tried to get the sink to stay on top of the unit, i increased the depth gradually, so it was only a small amount higher, up to a huge amount higher, each time i saved it ended up back on the floor again scream
maybe the unlock bit is the key...i don't remember doing that before ninja
i'll try again when my patience is up to it!

while i was running around the shop wiz finding hallowe'en/spooky stuff for the pixies(wow, isn't hallowe'en stuff totally unaffordable!) i found a bit of a bargain..
a hallowe'en ixi plushie for 2,500NP blaugh
i know a certain purkle who may find this in her inventory come the 31st
i wasn't sure if it was a bargain at first, i had an idea that they should be round the 20k mark, did a swift wiz check and snapped it up. the shop owner had a lot of stuff, all the rest at fairly accurate prices, a plushie zafara plushie for 78k for example, so i'm not sure why they slipped up with the ixi, maybe they missed a zero off by mistake rofl

i sent spooky food, as i imagine everyone will, then we'll get it all back again on the 31st lol
i looked up hallowe'en items and they are nearly all unbuyable, i saw the spooky flying doughnut and so wanted to trade with those...100,000np rolleyes
so it was back to the jellied eyeballs and gooplecreams ninja

thing is, i feel guilty now, which was undoubtedly their intention when they mailed me!

EDIT oh, now i don't, i had a look in their gallery, stuffed to the rafters with rainbow petpets, so i told them they could afford the lose.

I don't know what MOTW is, I've never tried changing depth in our neohome (that post a few posts back sounds scarily complicated) and what is this talk of giving things for Halloween?
Not that any of it concerns me because....
I just went to McDonalds to support their Blue Ribbon day (for police who have lost their lives in the line of duty) and...
WE'VE GOT NEOPETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I got son a Happy Meal and paid for three more neopets, so we got two each. I got a red and a blue kougra (love those) and son got a green and a blue kougra. Guess where I'll be going for....frappes, Happy Meals, and um, any other excuse to buy more neopets!!! I've been stalking McDonalds since you guys said you got a second round. blaugh

Pixie, congrats on the neopets! There are a total of 12 different species released, with 7 colors each (the basic red, green, blue, and yellow, and then 3 special colors) as well as 24 different petpet clips to collect!
MOTW is Member of the Week, which is a special thing the Purkle Pixies sometimes run where they pick and spoil a member for a week. It's not a neopets-wide thing, just something some of the guild helpers do.
The Halloween exchange is also something the guild puts together, where people who decide to participate will sign up and send in goodies to one central location, and then boxes will be mailed back out to everybody. That's kind of what we did with the Purkle Places boxes too, and we've done similar things for Valentine's Day and Christmas. I've participated in a few, but it's really a big deal and a lot of hassle. (Jelly sent some fantABULOUS stuff, though! 4laugh )

When you say guild, you mean this one? Or a guild on neopets? I don't even know if they have guilds on neopets, as I signed up to neopets for my son, not myself, so I can't open a shop or make neofriends or read forums. I would have to fax parental consult to neopets and I bet that would be expensive or a hassle from here in Australia.
