Kaien treated her like the way he did because she understood the situation she was in with all the others around her. She was a noble.. even though not by birth, she was adopted in the kuchiki family...and she just wanted to be treated normal...when you are noble like that , people treat you different.. they usually dont like you and stuff like that.. kaien gave her that and she admired and cared for him for that.It doesnt really directly say she LOVED him, she might of liked him..the hollow was just dumb when he said that, cause he is a hollow.He was using her caring for kaien against her to make her scared...ukitake didnt want that for her, and he protected her.. told her to run cause she was underhim..and what you believe in all that Darwin crap or somthing? You aredumb.and our president and the flu have nothing to do with this.And its part of japanese culture is what that stuff is ok?Japanese family, if their honor was stainedthey would find it better if the person who stained their honor would kill themself, and the honor would be restored.. yeah i know its screwed up but its the way their culture works..False anger my a**.He was YOUNG and in A LITTLE KID he didnt understand, he just thought someone killed his brother for no reason, and he wasnt told WHY thats why soul society is dumb, they way they govern is stupid...even after aizen left, like with what happened with orihime.. she was forced to go to hueco mundo, and soul society thought that she betrayed them yeah the whole honor thing is weird, and i agreed with rukia with the whole honor thing...but thats just the way it was decided.and its okay for people to be vunerable somtimes joltker..its just the way it is. Even though they are shinigami, they still have weaknesses.. its the way we as people are
I was making a point that the strong live and the weak died. Darwin has nothing to do with the bare hard facts that a weak thing will break. Its the law of nature and physics. Washington was weak and was unable to beat the cold, so he died. PLUS The dude hasn't been our president for a long time.
As for the honor thing, what good is personal honor when the whole family suffers? Kaien's nobile family's honor was still hurt. Kaien was selfish and wanted to advenge the honor of himself and his wife, and didn't think what it might do in the long run.

stressed I don't watch every ep because i hate readign subtitles they take away from the experience.
Someone could have told him, I mean how hard is it to say "sorry kid, your brother died in the line of duty, here is a keep sake from him"?
Every thing has weaknesses, but everything can over come them if it doesn't let its own weaknesses get to it.
A bone breaks, it heals, and becomes stronger. if someone uses their right arm in tennis, the bones in that arm will be thicker and stronger then in the other.
