Chapter 19: Realizations

Yuki pulled away, feeling like he had just had some sense knocked into him. The kiss had felt… weird. In fact, he didn’t like it. This could only mean one thing.

Naruto wasn’t the one for him.

Looking down at Naruto, he could see that he wasn’t exactly in bliss either. In fact, he looked worried.

Yuki patted Naruto’s shoulder. “Thank you, Naru-chan. You’ve helped me figure out a lot.”

He turned around and ran through the door up the stairs. He knew who he really liked now, and he wasn’t one for keeping it a secret.

Saka was alone in the dorm room. The other boys had left when they saw he was crying, not wanting to get caught up in an awkward situation. He was face-down on his bed, weeping.

Yuki gulped. This wasn’t good.

He slowly walked over to Saka, who still hadn’t noticed him. He sat down on the bed next to his friend and put a hand on his shoulder. “Saka? You okay, buddy?”

Saka gasped and shot up, knocking Yuki’s hand away. “G-go away! I mean, w-what’re you doing here? Where’s Naruto?” He sobbed a little with every word.

Yuki shrugged. “Heck if I know. I left him by the door.”

“You what?!? That’s rude, Yuki! He is your d-d-date…”

Yuki put a finger to Saka’s lips. “Shush! Dude, take a deep breathe and relax.”

Saka did as he was told, breathing in and out until he was calm again. “Well, why’d you leave him?”

Yuki looked to the side nervously. “Well, um, I’ve been feeling funny lately… I think it’s because of the way I’ve been thinking.”

Saka attempted a smirk. “Yuki, you know that always strains your brain.”

Yuki gave a small grin. “But seriously. I’ve, um, been reconsidering my feelings, and… uh…” Great time to get cold feet!

Saka’s eyebrows rose. “And?”

Yuki looked to the side again and twiddled his thumbs. “Well, I, uh… oh geez…”

“Well, spit it out!”

Yuki took a deep breath and did just that. “I FREAKIN’ LOVE YA, DUDE!”

Saka’s eyes went as wide as dinner plates. “Huh?”

His eyes went wider-if possible-when Yuki grabbed him by the cheeks and pulled him in and kissed him.

They stayed like that for about ten seconds until Saka began to protest. Yuki let him pull away for air.

“What the heck?!? A few hours ago, you were in love with Naruto! And now… what the heck?!?” Saka shouted, wanting to punch and kiss Yuki at the same time.

Yuki looked crushed. “Does this mean… you don’t like me?”

Saka paused. “What? Of course I like you! I’ve liked you since I met you!! …Wait, no! No! No! No! I did not say that!”

Yuki grinned and hugged his friend, crush, whatever he is now. “I knew it! No one can resist me.”

Saka sighed and grinned weakly. “This is kinda… sudden, though…”

Yuki pulled away, to Saka’s dismay. “I know. I didn’t see it coming myself. But that’s okay, right?”

Saka looked down and back up again. “Right.”

Yuki smiled and kissed him again.

Things would never be the same, but for once, that was a good thing.

Chapter 20: The End of it All… At Least For Now

The mission finally ended. At last, somebody wanted a job. This time, Yuki wasn’t complaining.

Everything had turned out great. Yuki was with Saka, Sasuke was with Naruto, and Sakura had made a promise to herself to go out with Lee the next time he asked her. With all the romantic problems out of the way, it was time for the one remaining problem: saying goodbye.

Sasuke glanced to the side nervously; he did NOT want to do this.

“Sasu-keee! Just do it, dattebayo!!” came the high-pitched voice of his boyfriend, Naruto. Sasuke was pushed straight into Yuki. Yuki backed up, as did Sasuke.

Sasuke sighed and finally spoke. “I’m… sorry. I was a jerk the whole time we were here.”

Yuki grinned. “Darn right—OW!” Yuki glared at Saka, who put his elbow away. “Fine. I was a jerk too; sorry for trying to steal your man. Friends?” He stuck out his hand, still grinning.

Sasuke eyed the hand for a moment before grabbing it and shaking firmly. “Friends… I guess.”

Naruto grinned. “Yay! Now everybody’s happy, dattebayo!”

“Not me!” A sob came from behind them.

Jin hugged Naruto from behind, squeezing every breath out of his body. “Naru-chaaan! I’ll miss you so much!” She sobbed again.

Naruto patted her on the shoulder, as did Sakura. “Jin-san, we’ll visit whenever we can!”

Jin huffed and quickly stood up. “Promise?”

Naruto grinned again. “Promise. And don’t call me Naru-chan!”

Naruto, Sakura, Kakashi, and Sasuke waved back to their friends as they walked away from the mansion. When they were out of view, Naruto relaxed. “Ahhh! Now I’ll never have to wear a dress ever again!”

Kakashi chuckled. “Unless Sasuke makes you.”

Sasuke only glared at him. He was in too good a mood to do anything else.

Back at the mansion, Saka pulled on Yuki’s sleeve. “Yuki… you won’t fall in love with anyone else again, will you?”

Yuki smiled and kissed Saka lightly. “Of course not… though I may crush a little.”

Saka grinned. “That’s fine with me.”

Sasuke smirked and came to Naruto’s side, putting his arm around the boy’s waist. “So… you won’t fall in love with anyone else, will you?”

Naruto scoffed. “You act like you own me.”

Sasuke’s smirk grew. “I may not own you, but you’re mine.”

Sasuke kissed him, and Naruto quickly kissed back, the two of them oblivious to the rest of the world.

Kakashi and Sakura sighed simultaneously.

Sakura grinned up at Kakashi. “You know, sensei… I think I’m starting to like yaoi.”

Kakashi patted her on the head. “They’re not old enough for that yet, Sakura. Just like Lee for now.”

Sakura pouted. “Are you saying I’m a pervert, sensei?” She paused, watching Sasuke and Naruto for a moment, before turning back to Kakashi. “Can we just leave them here?”

Kakashi turned around and started walking. “Sure! Why not?”

Sakura giggled and ran to catch up, pretending to not notice that her teammates weren’t following.

Naruto finally pulled away for breath and grinned up at his boyfriend. “Love ya.”

Sasuke smirked. “Love ya too.”

Naruto pulled away, and turned to face Sakura and Kakas, only to find they weren’t there.

“AAAUGH! They left! SASUKE-TEME, THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT, YOU PERV!”

“WHAT?!? Hey! Hey, come back!! Wait up!!”

I have to finish two other fanfics first, but once those are done, I'm going to start an Alice in Wonderland/Naruto crossover! 8D I already have a basic idea about what I'm going to do, and so far, it's FANTASTIC. whee
