Thanks for the heads up Meka! Take your time and reply when you're ready, you sound like you're having an awesome weekend so my only request is that you tell me how the shows went afterwards!

Heh, thanks. But once my schedules start to sync up so that I can have at least Wednesday off every week as well as only work one shift a day, I will be able to do more. Just hope it kicks in soon!

ohh my gosh the shows were great 10/10. the addams family never fails to be amaazing. it might be all the morbid jokes. shrug. the rocky horror picture show was shadowed by cast members on stage while the film was played on the backdrop and they made it hilarious, with commentary running over the movie and prop-bags for the audience. "nice tits janet" is forever burned into my mind
i did post in floodclan yesterday, but only after rewriting the entire thing. my first draft characterized all my cats perfectly and i was so happy with it. and then the computer crashed. i was so broke. just pushed the laptop off my bed and took a nap. woe is meka
but the playlist!! ok i had to transition it from spotify to youtube for easier access: [x] here you are! its constantly being meddled with though. different songs/order every week. if anyone has any other song suggestions, pl s share

Lol, I've always loved the Addams family. I wrote a play in HS that was a parody of the Reluctant Debutante but mine was called the Reluctant Slasher. My character in it was named Friday Addams. cat_rofl
I'm glad you had fun, those both sound amazing!
And gah, I hear these horror stories and am like "wow, I should really start writing my posts offsite on something that autosaves" but then I never do because I'm too addicted to the "preview" function because apparently I need to be sure my posts look pretty. LOL But in all honestly I thought your final product was pretty great regardless cat_3nodding
And wow you have amazing sound girl! I'm always listening to anything and everything. I don't believe in picking themes for characters because I feel like characters are too fluid to be nailed down to one song. I do however, have songs I listen to when I'm writing my cats to get into their mindset. These songs change regularly and with my characters, but this is what I have at the moment:
Sunshade
Leafpaw
Stormstar

a parody of the addams family is something id love to have witnessed omgosh
i rlly should as well. google drive would be perfect for that sort of thing. but thats probably not going to happen. i just dont care to switch mediums i guess shrug (thank u thooo. tried my best to recreate what i had cx)
ok but so do you no joke i downloaded those three songs to my spotify so fast after clicking the links i nearly got whiplash. but yeah i mean. considering how frequently my favorite songs change, if youre realistically writing characters, there's not going to be one single theme that fits them, but many at once, or maybe one at separate times. but aside from writing/reading, music is one of my favorite things and you can count on more sharing in the future as i find songs that remind me of thinggs in roleplay

Hey everyone. I've been talking with Sai, and we came to a decision today. Because of a lack of activity from both Kitty and Fox, I will be re-opening their main roles in the guild. I understand that circumstances are trying, but at the same time, I am hearing almost nothing from them and their roles are still needed, and frankly I would like someone to roleplay with in their places as opposed to continually bundling them in with my own posts. Their non-main role cats will be held on to as NPCs for the time being.
So, the following roles have now been re-opened:
-DuskClan Leader - Whomever takes this role, please know there is a prophecy now involved with the leader that we shall discuss. You will act as though your cat was Foxstar all along, though you are free to change everything about the cat (though for prophecy reasons you will have some dictation on naming). They will, however, have been sick with greencough for the last month, and I hope to have them on good terms with Owlflight.
-DuskClan Medicine Cat - Music, if you want, we can cheat and age up Tiltpaw. If you don't, this role is open to whomever wants it. Again, you will have to go ahead and pretend your cat was Lightspots the whole time, though I would prefer it be a completely new cat in the role(if Music doesn't take it)
-FloodClan Medicine Cat and Medicine Cat Apprentice - Same shtick, change what you need to, but for the Medicine Cat at least let's please say they've been around.
I'm leaving this with my notes for specific people in an effort to remain transparent. Thank you everyone for your patience during the grace period. If you have any questions/comments/concerns, please feel free to shoot me a PM or quote me back on this.

!!!! man thats always the worst decision to have to make. probably my least favorite part of running my own guilds before. i hope they'll return to us at least and maybe hop back in :-/
i could offer up frogleap for floodclan? seeing as he was a former medicine cat. the only flaw in that is spidersilk is his mate. i could imagine that floodclan was in desperate need of a medicine cat and starclan reached out to him again and urged him to come to their aid. there would surely be discourse over the situation though if you do go for this--i imagine neither dawnclan nor duskclan would receive it well at all--but if its what starclan has in mind then! thts all tht matters to floodclannn
idk its totally your call
also if no one else wants to claim duskclan's leadership i have a cat of mine in mind that i could bring to the roleplay c: pinestar--a burly she-cat who leads with steadfast care and a powerful will to carry her clan on her shoulders. and ofc she and owlflight would be on good terms! both such big and strong female leads. they could have grown up closely together
if frogleap is okayed ill have to rewrite what i have for my next floodclan post so far but id be happy to do so~ just hmu with your thoughts
