She really didn't need to get him anything, Chester was having a fun time just being with Skye. As they walked around it would seem that they weren't quite done setting up some booths. No doubt that some would appear tomorrow.
Being dragged over to where the green screen area he looked at her. "What is this? Do you know Skye?" he asked her with a curious look.

She hadn't noticed the green screens till he mentioned it. Her eyes lit up as her jaw down to the floor in shock. "Oh... my..... god" was all she could utter in her amazement. There was people wearing black suits with what seemed to be ping pong balls all over it. As they moved, the character on the screen moved too.
"OH wow!" Skye squealed with delight. It seemed the stall was giving out both new gear and a test run on this character control. "Come on! We should try it! Today is kinda quiet cause everyone mainly comes to see the big announcement at these things" her eyes rolled "we might not get a chance tomorrow!.. please please pleeeease?!"

Chester laughed a bit. "Sure we can I don't mind! It looks like fun honestly." he said being pulled to the attraction anyway. He kind of got the feeling she was going to do it weather he wanted to or not.
When it was their turn he slipped on the black suit and was asked for his character's name and password. Quietly replying to the person he was asked to do various poses and move. Chester felt a little silly posing, but apparantly you got something for doing this.
He was still a bit confused, Chester then wondered where Skye was.
(sorry i'm adlibbing. ^^; I assume you know more about this than I do? xP)

(sorry I've been so slow! I've been livestreaming my art for the past few days lol... lots of commissions (: .. also ya I do know about all this xD I've done green screen in college and stuff lol.. I'm just making it more 'cool' with the whole controlling the character thing lol... also I'm kind of a nerd and have many books on the subject haha!)
Skye was so excited about all this! She had read online that the Japanese were working on a gaming suit, so this must of been a mock up version to show the potentials. Of course Skye read that it was all in it's early stages, but this was still rather cool to be apart of! With all of her gear and stuff she had to get changed in a little black gazebo that was closed off so people could slip into the suits and store their stuff. The tent was guarded with someone outside so there was no worry about anything being stolen.
She didn't like the suit very much, it made her feel rather naked with how tight it was. Walking out of the tent, she had hugging at her arms because she was ashamed of her body. Skye wasn't fat or thin.. just average with slightly bigger hip bones. Most would call her an hourglass shape. But she didn't like to look womanly, really... it brought too much attention from the wrong kind of men.
Though what character was she going to use? Athello was rather impressive to look at, but then Chester would know exactly who she was. The only logical thing to do was log in as her female character. She wasn't as amazing looking, but she still had enchanted weapons and armours and such.

(It's alright. smile Thanks for letting me know though. ^^ Oh and that's fine, most of the rps we do both of us kind of improvise anyway. xD lol)
Chester blushed a bit, he hadn't noticed how hourglass curvy she looked. Though that didn't really matter all that much to him. Giving her a smile he walked over. "Are you alright Skye?" he asked her softly though on the screen it looked as if both their characters were getting close to each other.
He wasn't keen on the whole body suit thing either. It felt a bit odd having to use your body to move around, though it was fun Chester wasn't sure if this would be something he would do for a game. Maybe if the suits weren't so tight and worked more like a costume but it was still in it's development stages.
Chester wasn't a muscleman, but he was somewhat toned. His body was more athletic built so he didn't mind letting people see him. After all they weren't going to be in the body suit forever, plus he was getting a really cool sword, set of armor, and a pet out of it just for trying the suit out.

Seeing Chester in the same getup made a cute giggle come from her. They both looked kind of stupid, so it was okay as long as she wasn't looking stupid all on her own. Though to be fair, many were bound to try this out on the busy days of the convention. Her character had purpely-plum hair, much like the shade in real life. It looked as though she was a berserker just like his friend Athello. With the horns and demonic looking clothing.
Looking up at the screen her jaw dropped as she made a wave movement like a zombie. Skye was in awe and shock on how it all looked. "woooooooooow" she uttered under her breath before one of the staff stepped in to explain what was to be done. "Hey guys! Firstly we need you to move around to get more used to using the suits. Just walked around, so simple gestures and so on. We just need to see that everything is working correctly and that you get a better understand of how it all works" With that, Skye instantly jumped up and down to see if her character did it too. She did! All in perfect timing! Now for something more complicated, Skye tried to do a cartwheel, knowing full well she could never do one and toppled over, straight to the floor. She didn't cry or get upset, just burst out laughing at her fail.

(Lol somehow I can kind of seeing you doing something like this if it were real. xD )
Chester gave a nod and began to move around a bit amazed that his character was moving. Of course spotting a nearby enemy, he pretended to unsheath his sword, to which Jack did, and make slicing movements. To his surprise he killed the monster. Wow this was cool! Stopping to see her spill onto the floor he chuckled a bit then walked over and held his hand out to her.
Jack did the same to her character. "Are you ok Skye?" he asked sweetly. Chester was having fun then he got an idea. "How about we try something with our character's together!" he stated to her with excitement in his voice.
(lol well at least they're not sitting on a ship as Skye awkwardly tries to confess her love for Chester, who is oblivious and dumb to love. xD lol Yeah I got to the ship scene in Grandia, the one before the mermaid island. xD I was cracking up. lol)

(oh ya I totally would! haha! Like I said.. pretty much playing as myself in this one xD..... amg you're at that bit?! It's this right? LOL.. if so you're on disk two by now me thinks 8D from what I remember lol) Skye looked up and saw the character Jack kill a random beast that spawned. Maybe it was a good idea to keep an eye on the screen. Some fancy looking goggles would've been handy, one of those she had seen in many sci-fi movies. Though maybe she was just thinking too far ahead, this was a very early prototype after all. "Thanks" she smiled, with in turn her character smiled also. It was due to the random pokadots on her face to chart out her expression. Skye took his hand and picked herself up. "That's a good idea!.... umm.. should we look for more monsters! Or do a cool dance?" she said with a chuckle, this was all so exciting

(yeah ^^ though Feena and Justin are sitting in different positions in that clip. Feena is where Justin is sitting, and Justin is where Feena is sitting in the game copy I have. Yeah lol I just did the whole 'Goodbye to Sue', and 'Fight with Gadwin' parts. It's almost to disk two. I think after the mermaid island it is. ^^ I love this part because the mermaids are totally different than what you expect razz )
Chester took her hands gently and slowly began to waltz with her. Their characters were waltzing too and a few of the programmers laughed saying that maybe they should add a feature to allow their characters to dance together. Chester wasn't that good at dancing, but it was something he felt like doing with her.
"I know how to dance a little, I must say you are very good on your feet Skye." he commented happily.

(ahh.. I'm thinking WAY ahead I think then.. been a long time since I played that game lol. At least ten years haha!)
She blinked and giggled lightly at soon as he began to dance with her. It wasn't exactly the type of dance she mean't, more like a jumpy crazy dance. But it looked rather good on the screen with how their characters and the pretty forest setting in the background. The pair of digital people might looked of elegant, more fierce really, though it still looked rather nice seeing them dance. A few other people testing the suits out on different screens even stopped what they were doing to watch the two.
"Well thank you very much.. you're not too bad yourself. You just need to count in your head" Skye told him with a smile, remembering it from her dance classes in school It was a subject everyone had to do in her school at a young age. A way to get kids to exercise instead of constant sports. "1, 2, 3... 1, 2, 3... 1, 2, 3" she counted in a small, upbeat tempo.

What? lol Honestly I would be kind of the same just a little bit. ^^; You should definately play it again.^^ ) Chester blushed, she was better than he was. As they danced everything seemed to just fade away in the distance. Getting lost in her eyes again he smiled at her warmly. "You're very good, where did you learn to dance so well?" he asked with a faint blush. Gosh her eyes were pretty, why did everything about this girl make his heart beat so fast? Chester wondered what she was thinking, though why should he be? "Say...how about we go get some ice cream when we're done exploring the convention for today? It'll be my treat. A-After all you paid for breakfast." he asked trying not to make it sound like he was asking her out, though part of him was. It was too bad she lived so far away, Chester was starting to fall for the cute little Brittish girl.

(amg yes... I was a little ahead in my thinking xD I thought it was the scene after the mermaid lady had gone haha! and dawwww that makes you cute!!! -pinches your cheekies- xD. oh ya.. i deffo am! I bought it on PSN... but I'm kinda determined to platinum MGS3 right now haha!"
She also went bright red, but nothing to do with the fact most people were looking how cool their characters looked dancing around like that. More to the fact that he complimented her. "It was... just something in school" Skye explained to him "we had to learn simple ballroom and interpretive dance." to her it sounded really boring, but he did want to know after all.
Ice-cream sounded rather good, she loved her sweet things and a nice cold snack was usually a good idea after a long day at these places. "Sure... I'd love to.." was he coming on to her or something?

(Well I'll admit I'm not too good with love. ^^; I dunno, l get kind of shy xP I guess I am a bit derpy lol xD Oh that's cool ^^ I don't own a ps3 but I might get it for my psp one day. ^^)
So she learned how to dance in school huh? That was nice. Once they stopped dancing he let go of her hands. "I think I'm done, what about you?" he asked shyly. He wondered if Skye even liked him? Maybe he should stop and just have fun with her instead.
He didn't want anything to blow up in his face, and possibly lose a chance to at least make a new friend.
(sorry for the lame posts tonight, but I think I'm going to get off and play some Grandia actually. I'd like to get to the second disk xD lol plus I'm kind of in a 'meh' rp mood. ^^; )

(dawww shyness ish cute cute whee tehe.... AMG I hate you.. gimme your PSP!!! WE CAN TRADE!!! I wanna play Dissidia crying and type-0... haha that's okay.. it's pretty much 3 am here and my eyes are finding it hard to focus on the screen xD.. honestly go play on Grandia 8D I don't minds <3 I got plenty of games to nerd on while a wait lol x)
The purple haired girl gave a nod once they both stopped dancing. With a quick look around she saw that almost everyone was looking at them with cute, soppy eyes towards the pair. This only made her blush darken, maybe everyone thought they were going out. Not that she minded. "we can.. go have that ice-cream now if you wanted.. I don't really mind.."

(lol and the remakes of the Star Ocean series right. razz I have the Second Story remake actually. xD I like that one. ^^ Ok I will, somedays I'm just kind of mentally tired. xP Thanks for commenting on my journal by the way. ^^ I appreciate it. Did these people think they were a couple or something. Looking into her eyes he wondered what it would be like to be her boyfriend. Chester, wouldn't mind that honestly.
