(just gonna make a bunch of tags, multiple times, to catch up to where we are now)
M'lan Tag Ceta/Tanya
M'lan liked that laugh, she laughed with him at his joke and not at his dragon, oh he'd had some laugh at Asoth's posturing but it had been the last time they did, M'lan wasn't a violent man by any means but when it came to those he loved, like Asoth... well you'd be messing with the Wrong rider. He'd been about to offer to go with her and help when she scurried off and M'lan sighed. "might as well wait for her... rather than get lost in this crowd" he thought to himself.
He was looking to see where she went when a familiar voice rang out, he turned with a smile "Ceta!" he exclaimed "How are you? Enjoying the party?" he asked her while glancing about for Tanya but not in a way that would be rude to Ceta.
Kindra tag Roscoe/N'mol
She didn't miss the 'subtle' movement of N'mol towards her and inwardly she grinned but she wasn't about to let him off quite that easily. "Of course Roscoe's Dragon will be a Benden Dragon" she snorted at N'mol, as if she wouldn't entertain the idea of Benden's candidates being stolen by Trine or Malvren Dragons. She liked this Roscoe, the easy way he joked with N'mol. "Then you'd better hurry up and Impress otherwise you'll show N'mol to be a pretty poor Wingleader by having holes" she chuckled. She gracefully blushed slightly at Roscoe's compliments "My name is Kindra, i gave up on being a Lady as soon as i boarded that Search Dragon" she admitted, a Weyrwoman was respected yes but she was FAR from a Lady of a Hold, she did appreciate Roscoe's politeness though.
Suunath tag Calanoth/Tyeth
Suunath settled herself comfortably, noticeably away from favouring any particular bronze which was noticeably odd since she almost always favored Tyeth over any other but since the Flight (and the fact he'd been ignoring her) she wasn't about to make it easy on the Bronze, especially since he didn't come to her and that annoyed her as was obvious from her tail flicking irritably. When Calanoth paid her attention she turned her head towards him big didn't get up "Calanoth, you are well?" she asked, keeping her customary 'and Yours' out of her comment, Kindra had been too badly affected and it was fresh in Suunath's memory, the pain her Rider had felt emotionally. She wouldn't address Calanoth's unless she had reason to, so she ignored the human even in her dealings with his Dragon. She liked Calanoth well enough and the Flight had been recent enough for her to feel a little bit posessive of the Bronze.
Becka (tag Berath)
Becka cringed against Berath as shapes raced by, one growling at her and the Green. her eyes wide and staring into the dark, her heart thudding so hard she thought she was going to be sick. "B...Berath... is it..Whers?" she whispered, terrified and clinging to the Green for safety. She hadn't even seen the injured man, she'd been half asleep against Berath when the commotion started.
Suunath (tag to Courath and all Dragons)
The instant trouble started Suunath was on her feet, hunched and growling even as shapes raced in the darkness, stinking of blood. "Protect the humans, do not let anything through" she growled into the minds of all dragons around her, " As Cepheith says....We let none through" she lashed her tail, while she knew it wasn't Whers it was still a threat to Hers and there was no way she was going to let anything near Kindra "Kindramine... is Tyeth's with you?... do not fight Mine, i do not wish you to be hurt"
M'lan (and Asoth) tag Ceta/Tanya
M'lan was enjoying his chatter with Ceta, he'd even gotten over feeling guilty at hurting her, especially after he'd proved he wasn't dragon-mad all the time, He smiled at the memory. He didn't register the hush and the murmur at first until he turned to see what it was Ceta was staring at. "Oh shells" he muttered, moving to put himself between the man and Ceta, in case whatever had made those slashes on his chest, was following. His eyes looked for Tanya but couldn't see her as people began to move away "TANYA!" he yelled, hoping she'd hear him, "TANYA, OVER HERE!"
Asoth was alert the moment the Queens spoke, first Cepheith then the Benden Gold. "Mine? .... " he queried, prying long enough to make sure that there was no immediate danger. He moved away from His and towards a slowly forming outer ring of dragons "The Queens have spoken, nothing will harm you Mine, or others, i will show them that Asoth is the best at fighting" he said, though his tone was uncertain, he picked up an image from M'lan's mind and raised his head, large faceted eyes seeking the one he saw "I am Asoth, my rider is M'lan, he is worried for you, please go to him" he asked Tanya once he caught sight of her, he wasn't afraid to speak to someone other than His, especially when His was worried about them. "Mine, i have asked that person to find you" he told M'lan, who blinked, surprised but then nodded, keeping a closer eye out for Tanya. "I'll be with you in a minute Ceta, i need to find someone first" he said, feeling bad but he wanted to make sure Tanya was ok at least, before doing his duty to protect HIS Weyr.
Kindra/Suunath tag N'mol/Roscoe/Cepheith
Kindra's stomach flipped when the man came stumbling and shouting ... shells that wound was ugly. Almost instinctively she grabbed at the knife she'd hidden, hard to in such clothing but she'd managed it, ever since the betrayal by that rotten Wherhandler, she wasn't about to ever be caught without a weapon again. She saw Roscoe tense and she unsheathed the knife, glad of the gift as it was light in her hand but sturdy enough to do the job. "I'm never without it N'mol" she answered tensely, though the tone was general and not directed sepcifically towards Roscoe. "Narisa... where's Narisa?"
"Suunath, where is Narisa?"
"She is safe, with Pipith's"
"good, ask Cepheith to see if she and Pipith's will move towards where Abigail is, N'mol and i are heading towards there, we'll be safer in a group" she told her Gold, who dully passed on the message to Cepheith.
That out of the way Kindra allowed herself to be pulled along by N'mol, not that she was letting go of HIS hand either "Roscoe, come on" she said, wishing she had three hands so she could pull the candidate with them. "N'mol, we should make sure all the people stay in one place so the dragons have it easier to protect us" she said, remembering how scattering their ranks had been a mistake, the Whers had been able to pick at people. "Is it the Whers again?" she whispered hoarsely as she pushed through the crowd, one hand tightly on N'mol, the other gripping the knife.

Roscoe Tag N'mol & Kindra
When the bronzerider didn't dispute his weapon - though Roscoe hadn't really thought he would - he calmed slightly. He wasn't disarmed this time...he wasn't alone with a bunch of cowards and traitors. It would be different this time. It had to be. Grimly nodding at N'mol's instructions he fell in with the other two, staying close to keep from being separated though his eyes continued to dart through the crowd as though half expecting someone to appear in the midst and start going after everyone.
Plexith Tag all dragons
Plexith rumbled his agreement with Tyeth's comment - no he had not caught a whiff of those detestable beasts. It was something else but he was not sure what. 'Not Whers' He agreed, sharing with his rider and fellow dragons, his eyes whirling with anger as he peered into the night.
'If something has then the humans will have to deal with it...there is not enough room for us to go stampeding into the crowd, in the ill light we could hurt someone by accident.' He responded to the other bronzes worry that something had already gotten past.
Mercy Tag Dizzian & Hekate
"Understandable" She stated before shaking her head slightly "Courath has a job to do and the dragons are not sure yet if there is anything out there in dark or if something's slipped through, it's safer to stay here with everyone else until we know what's happened." She insisted, splitting up was always a bad idea, things always went horribly wrong when small groups ended up alone.
'Not whers. The bronzes say it is not that, but something else.' Aerith assured her rider.

Niyx Tag Ailin
"I see you've picked up a firelizard." Hekate spoke glancing down at the nervous little creature surprised at how it seemed far more panicked then it's owner. If anything is seemed almost like Ailin was just trying to shut the whole world out and ignore everyone as he turned away from the injured man ignoring Niyx's comments. While she hadn't heard much about his time at Trine during the attacks she knew he unlike some had chosen to hide rather then fight. Not that she could blame him for it. Bloodshed of any sort could be a rather terrifying thing.

Tanya (Tag to M'lan)
Tanya let out a startled squeak of sound, hand jumping to cover her mouth. Her gray eyes were wide and dark as someone spoke to her in a voice that almost echoed-- and didn't sound quite human. Which, she realized, it wasn't. He had said he was M'lan's Brown, hadn't he? But dragons didn't talk to humans outside of their riders! Everyone knew that!
"All right," she agreed aloud, though she didn't understand why a dragon would choose to speak to her of all people. Or why Brownrider M'lan would worry about her when they were hardly even acquaintances. However, she had been ordered to do something and surely a rider would know what to do. So Tanya picked up M'lan's plate and headed back over to the table. She could see him towering above the others around the drink table, so at least he was where she had left him. When she reached him, she put on a bright smile despite the chaos starting around them.
"I did get you a plate, but I think it's going to have to wait now," she said as she sat the napkin-covered food down on the table. "I think... your dragon..." Tanya stammered to a halt, then shook it off and pulled her full lips into a smile again. "Did you need me for something, Brownrider? Are you going to take care of all of this? The riders will find out what hurt that man and put a stop to it before it reaches anyone else, won't they?"
Cetalese (Tag to M'lan, Abigail, and those with Abigail)
Cetalese didn't miss M'lan's protective move and thought it was sweet, though unnecessary. He could take care of himself and Cetalese could do the same. Therefore, when M'lan made his apologies, she simply nodded. He'd see to his friends and he could always catch them up later.
"All right. I have to find Eliza at least. I'm sure the Wingleaders will go to Abigail. I'll meet you there once I find her." She dropped her hand from his arm to squeeze his hand and then she turned and was quickly lost back into the crowd.
"Eliza!" she called. "Eliza!" There were so many others calling names (mostly riders, she guessed) or quickly increasing the volume of their conversations in panic and excitement that Cetalese's words were lost in the crowd. There was no way she was going to find Eliza in all of this. She should have stayed with M'lan. The only stable point in this sea of movement would Abigail and her Wingleaders, so though Cetalese wasn't anyone of rank she determined to head that way anyway. It was impossible to be polite in this group. After the first few bumps, Cetalese's mouth tightened very slightly in determination and she began pushing her way through without apologies. This might be a real crisis and the press of bodies was making her journey take far too much time.
Finally, she did break through-- into another throng of people surrounding Abigail. Well, at least she knew where she was and was close enough that if the Wingleaders could silence this group she could hear what was going on.
N'mol (Tag to Kindra, Roscoe, Abigail, and those standing with Abigail)
Kindra's whispered inquiry earned a shake of N'mol's head. "Tyeth doesn't think so." Though what it was was anyone's guess. N'mol just kept hold of Kindra's free hand, pulling her beyond the ignorant masses around them where necessary and glancing back frequently to make sure Roscoe was keeping up as well.
"Weyrwoman, Wingleaders," N'mol greeted with a brief, sharp nod of his head. "Has our injured messenger given us any more clues to what attacked him?"
Tyeth (Tag Plexith and dragons)
Tyeth rumbled agreement with Plexith. They couldn't risk crushing anyone and Bronzes and Golds would be especially prone to that sort of thing.

D'lin Tag Ceta, self, others near Abigail
Despite the panic it seemed that most people were willing to move out of his way when they saw his shoulder knots. At least those who weren't intent on asking him questions. "I don't know yet, just stay put and wait." Was his quickly developed answer to most of them. As he neared Abigail his eyes swept the crowd and he was instantly relieved to see not only one but two familiar bodies trying to get through the crush - though it seemed like they had not noticed each other yet.
Eliza was too far off for him to reach but she was safe and that was good enough for D'lin. Ceta on the other hand was directly in his path and so he neatly collected her in his march to the front, pulling her in front of him and propelling her through the crowd by force of his rank. "Eliza is fine, I saw her in the other side of the crowd here." He leaned down to whisper to Ceta without stopping their forward motion.
Breaking through the crowd he stopped. Glancing at Abigail to await order's, though it seemed like she was still in the process of gathering information so he settled to wait a few moments for whatever would come, his eyes flickering through the crowd for any signs of his other Wingrider's. Nodding his greeting to the other Wingleaders present. it looked like they had all come to the same conclusion about where they ought to be.
Roscoe Tag Kindra, N'mol, all those near Abigail
Roscoe had quickly found himself propelled into the midst of bronze, gold and other ranking rider. Somewhat odd perhaps for a mere candidate but certainly a better place to be then milling around with the confused mass elsewhere. He kept his eyes alert and his mouth shut as he waited alongside his friend and Kindra for whatever orders were going to be issued.

Z'fer (Tag Wingleaders, dragons)
Any chance for talking about Mercy's upcoming lesson was lost as dragons and riders leapt into action. Z'fer nodded grimly to D'lin and inwardly looked to Calanoth. ~ Have the dragons calm their riders. Tell them to calm anyone else who needs it too. All humans need to stay where they are right now. They are NOT to leave this area! ~ Z'fer grimaced. HE didn't know the area well enough to consider evacuation routes. Those would have to come from Narisa and D'lin probably. He followed D'lin towards Abigail to get further instruction.
The blank look in her face made his frown deepen. Why Trine hadn't replaced her yet he didn't know. Maybe they were waiting on their young gold to rise, but whatever the reason Z'fer felt it should be sooner rather than later. The old woman was obviously loose in the head.
Calanoth was on his feet with the other dragons, lumbering towards the outer circle on the command of the golds. ~ DRAGONS! ~ He shouted. ~ Calm your riders if they need it and instruct them to calm those around them! Nothing gets in. Nothing gets out until our Queen's order it.~ With the help of the other bronzes and queens hopefully they would be able to protect their own this time.
To his he added. ~ I did not see the threat...but as others have said it doesn't smell of whers. There is something off in the air. ~ There were two many scents mingling from the food and people for him to pick out exactly what was wrong. Not to mention the overpowering odor of fresh spilt blood.
Dizzian (tag Hekate, Mercy)
Courath nodded to Cepheith and quickly took herself further in, placing herself in line with the other smaller dragons. Once in place she kept her eyes on alert while her mind reached back to her rider.
Dizzian gasped for air, her breaths slowly working at getting deeper until a heavy blanket of Calm washed over her. She grabbed at it, reaching as hard as she'd ever had for Courath's presence. ~ Dizzianmine, my chosen heart, you are strong. You are brave! ~ Her gentle voice crooned in the panicked girl's mind. Dizzian shook her head in denial, tears still leaking from her blank eyes. No she was not brave! Look at her! Look at what the whers had done! She was weak, a bad choice for the courageous green. ~ No Mine, you ARE brave. We are united, working together as Devith's said. Nothing will harm you while we are here mine, but you are needed to do your part like all the others here. They need your strength as much as I do! ~
Courath turned toward Devith in their line. ~ No. It pains me but mine should be with the others, safe. If there is to be fighting I do not want her in harms way. ~
Ailin (tag Niyx)
Ailin nodded, stroking the frightened lizard and trying to sooth it. The panic and anxieties around them were only getting worse as the rumors of whers spread like Thread burrows. "We should probably get out of here..." Out of the way. If there was to be fighting Ailin wanted none of it. He knew how to stay out of the way, that was his talent, his contribution.
Felix (tag Jordan, Kala, Talakor)
"Oooh. Ouch." Felix made a face but watched with interest as the man staggered into a rider and made his vague claims. "Well he could at least had mentioned what the trouble was." Felix added casually. He raised a calm eyebrow as people started bustling about in a fit. Well that escalated quickly! Before he knew it he was surrounded on all sides by dragon arse.
"Do they really think they're going to keep everyone pinned up like herdbeasts? That's just making it easier on whatever's out there. I mean seriously." He watched Kala send her green off to the Dolphin Hall and was glad she'd had a flit to do so. "I'm with Talakor on this one. We need to get out there and catch that creature! We can't just let it run about maulin people. C'mon we should talk with the Weyrwoman. We're representing our craft after all!" He grinned and twitched his head to where the Wingleaders were crowding around Abigail.
"You too Muscles." He addressed Jordan. The young man looked like he'd be good in a scrape and Felix wasn't about to leave someone behind.

Hekate Tag Mercy and Dizzian
"This would be a lot easier if we had some better shelter. Even with the dragons I don't like being out here in the open. But if you insist we'll keep to the middle." Hekate replied sparing little attention to the whiterider as she kept scanning the crowds. However as Dizzian seemed to calm she half bent offering an arm up to her friend and companion. "Come on Dizzian up you go. I've gotcha." She replied her voice a good deal warmer when it came to her friends health. "Sides if worse comes to worse we can flip the dining tables and use them as cover." She muttered eyeing the food and drink tables reluctantly.
"Hopefully it won't come to that." Hekate added Baron on high alert on her shoulder his eyes whirling. Even Prince had awoken and the three greens now whirled over her head. Lifting her arm she silently called the three down as they alighted along her arm. Lowering her head Hekate stared them in the eyes.
"Lady. Take Maiden and Countess and scan the surroundings. Find what smells like blood and then come back. Don't get too close to whatever it is." Hekate ordered giving them an image of the dark shadows Devith had seen before urging them up into the air as they flew off on their task.
Very well Courath. Devith rumbled his eyes whirling. While he would have preferred to have Hekate astride is neck where they could stand and fight together and protect one another he could see the sense in his sisters words. That however didn't mean he had to like it. ------------------------------------ Niyx Tag Ailin
"They don't want us to leave the area or the circle of dragons." Niyx explained looking around a listening to what some of the riders were yelling. "It'd probably be better to sit tight and keep our heads down until things blow over. After all if we leave now we might be picked off before we ever get back to the barracks." Niyx explained fidgeting with the brass goggles around her neck.

[Bereck] "Mmh?" Bereck looked up from his book at Gingko. "Hello there. Does Cai want-" And then Berath's sudden alarm hit him like a brick. Instinct snapped his muscles into action; he dropped the book and moved to scramble upright. He didn't get far before the pain hit him and he recoiled, curling into a tight ball of pain. he managed to ask.
-----------
[Berath - Tag Becka, tag all dragons]
She had been about to say something else comforting to Becka, and perhaps apologise for dragonbreath, but Brakiath's warning stopped her in her tracks. Then she saw the injured man and the ichor in her veins seemed to chill. Before she could respond to the situation however she felt a flare of panic and then pain from Bereck, and before she could respond to that a sleek shape flashed by her.
The huge scarred green bellowed a challenge but the beast was already gone. she told Bereck and Becka simultaneous. Had it been...? It had passed her so swiftly, but those eyes! Eyes flashing pure white Berath sent out a general broadcast to other dragons. But it hadn't been a wher, and it hadn't been a dog....
She couldn't fight with Becka beside her, not well anyway; she would be in danger of squashing the little human. Reaching a decision she carefully scooped Becka up in one forepaw and hopped three-legged to the inner ring of dragons that was forming. she said firmly as she set the young healer down.
As Berath turned away to move amongst the other dragons a pair of firelizards appeared in the air next to Becka, a small crimson and a large (for his age) silver. Unable to come in person Bereck had sent two of his firelizards to stay with Becka: Sanguine's eyes blazed white while Marrow's swirled red and orange. They might not be able to do much against a feline, but that didn't mean they wouldn't try.
-----------
[F'itz - tag Adi, tag Cai]
Brumath's head snapped up as he heard the senior gold's warning.
For half a moment all F'itz could do was stare at the bleeding man, hardly hearing Brumath or noticing anything else. It was Cai's voice that cut through to him; he recognised her as a Healer from his time in the infirmary and moved swiftly to obey her instructions. The man's wounds reminded him starkly of the ones he had seen in Benden, caused by the claws of whers. Was the revolution moving against them again?
-----------
[Kleos - Tag wingleaders, tag golds, tag in general!]
As D'lin said, panic was the last thing they needed. Kleos tried not to panic herself; if she had dealt with the revolution she could deal with this! Pushing down her bubbling fear she turned to D'lin and nodded. "Agreed!" Taking a deep breath she then raised her voice to call above the growing hubbub. "Youngsters and non combatants to the centre to the ring! Riders form up a ring behind the dragons facing outward; if you see anything alert your wingleader immediately!" With that said she moved with the others towards Abigail, trying to think, to work out what she should do.
Moriath meanwhile had taken to the air and was circling above the rings of dragons. she informed her fellow wingleaders and the gold dragons.
"Too dark to see!" Kleos exclaimed abruptly, stopping dead for a moment and the jogging to catch up with the others. "We need the wherhandlers," she insisted firmly, aware that this might not be the most popular suggestion in the world but not about to flinch from sharing what she saw as a plain matter of fact.
Moriath passed on to her rider as she arched around the disrupted feast once more.
Kleos replied swiftly.
Some help that was.
-----------
[Carltis - tag Rochelle]
"...Trouble?" Carltis drained his cup and got to his feet as the commotion started. "There's always some dumb b*****d that ruins it for everyone else, isn't there? Let's go see what the trouble is and punch it, eh?"
And then, abruptly, there were a lot of firelizards; a brown and a pair of blues had appeared from between and were now circling Rochelle, their eyes whirling orange, red, and white. Carltis frowned. "Hey... aren't those Bereck's flitts?" What were they doing here? "What the bloody hell is going on here?" Only one way to find out. Carltis turned and started to shove his way towards the wingleaders and goldriders, displaying his usual flare for diplomacy with anyone who didn't move fast enough for his liking. "Wish I had my whip," he muttered under his breath as he put his elbow in somebody's chest.

Suunath tag to Plexith
Suunath was relieved and passed on the comment to Kindra about it not being Whers, she'd caught her Rider's fear, however if it wasn't Whers, it was an unknown Enemy and one brave enough to come when there were so many more than the usual number of dragons at Trine. Either this enemy was stupid or crazy. She rumbled a thanks to the Bronze before trying to see into the gloom at where the blood stench seemed strongest.
M'lan tag to Tanya/Ceta
M'lan nodded to Ceta, "Alright, meet you near Abigail" he said, before looking around again for Tanya, he was relieved when she showed up....with a plate? ."so you kept your promise then" he said with a small, amused smirk as he eyed her bright smile. He was glad she was ok. He noted her stammer and he nodded "Yes he told me he found you, he's not afraid to talk to other people and not just me" he explained with a smile, putting a posessive arm around her "Asoth says we're not to leave, it'll be easier for the dragons to protect us if we're gathered together instead of scattering" honestly he'd thought of running out, to find someone to direct him but it was enough that Asoth was being told and through Asoth, M'lan got his direction. "Let's got towards where the Weyrwomen are, it'll be safer there" he told her.
Kindra tag to N'mol
Kindra nodded, Suunath reassured her at almost the same time N'mol did and told her Calanoth's message. She briefly wondered if a Healer was around, or at least on their way to the injured man. "We need to make sure everyone gathers together, they might not listen to some of the riders and try and break away" she piped up, certainly not offering to speak up but giving the suggestion to anyone that wanted to try and be heard above the masses. She cringed against N'mol a little and her hand on his tightened as she spotted Z'fer, she prayed he would keep his arrogant mouth shut while there were more important things going on around them.

[Siata - tag pretty much anyone?]
Parties happened to be something Siata enjoyed very much. She'd not been able to locate people she considered friends in this place, not even a short and sometimes loud crimsonrider or a huge brickhouse of a boy. Instead, she grabbed a (few) cup(s) of wine and retreated to a safeish distance. Due to the time, Siask went with her, without his goggles but having donned a rather lovely eye patch.
As a result of an uncharacteristic solitary night, sthey both missed the act of the man stumbling and some of the commotion. Being a wher, no dragons actually contacted Siask and, being a wher, no one had been likely to. They were, after all, the enemy. Or something.
He lifted his head high into the air, nostrils flaring once a bit of hubub started. His one good eye flickered red, although not in anger, and the large bronze rumbled. He didn't speak, never di dhe speak, but she felt the meaning of blood. He sent her little pictures of bleeding humans from the revolution to identify the scent as very human.
"No way," said Siata, even as she finished off her fourth cup. Her head felt a bit fuzzy around the edges but at least her words didn't slurr. The two of them headed towards crowding of dragons, Siask's head down and sniffing quickly.
"What in the blazed happened?" She said to anyone nearby who would listen. (Maybe they would listen to a not-bloodstained wherhandler?)
-----
[Rochelle, tag Carltis]
She scrambled to her feet after Carltis, ignoring the wine in her hand. At least, she ignored it before the firelizards took up the sky around here, then she chugged teh sharding thing. Sassy appeared, creeling at her sudden worry, and latched on to the top of Rochelles head. He clung at her hair, distressed also by being ignored when she marched after ********>," Just as she'd managed to get beside him, insert Carltis elbow into her tit. The glasscrafter failed to yelp and instead latched on to the back of his shirt, hissing sharply. "Screw your whip, you just elbowed me in the boob! What in the sharding screwball ********? That is the closest you're getting to there ever agai-- What the--"
Dragons. Dragons doing... something.
"Sassy, you check on bereck."
-----
[Sassy, tag Bereck]
The little blue poofed from his pets head and, squeaking, flopped pathetically by Bereck's bedside. He straightened up quickly, little claws preening at his small pink scarf.
He squeaked, rose up on his hindlegs, and stared.

D'lin & Plexith Tag Siata, Everyone
Out of the dark gloom a couple of forms approached and Plexith drew himself to his full height, flared wings an instant threatening posture to those who approached his part of the circle. Eye's blazing with instant dislike he none the less refrained from attacking the other beast. Had they not already concluded the problem was not in Whers? Indeed one of the greens thought feline..Plexith had seen no feline but certainly one could not mistake a feline for a brutish wher.
'Plexith?' D'lin question upon feeling his dragons unease.
'A wher and handler approach, I scent no blood on them.' The bronze replied with an edge to his tone.
'There are some handlers still at Trine, certainly they would be bloodied if they'd hurt someone.' D'lin reminded his dragon.
'They could have washed.' Plexith pointed out but feeling his riders thoughts on the matter he mantled his wings and grudgingly appeared willing to let the pair pass.
'At least tell the beast what happened so it can help.' D'lin chastised his dragon and Plexith snorted with contempt at the order but did as he was asked turning his eyes to Siask 'Danger, feline danger? hurt human.' He attempted to send the simple images and thoughts to the Wher. Whers were simplistic creatures. One had to be patient in dealing with them but Plexith thought he'd managed to dumb it down enough for the beast to probably understand.
"A handler is coming. The Wher's sight should be a help in the dark." Certainly it might not be the most popular statement but he had heard Kleos and agreed with her, shooting her a slight nod of support in the matter, they had resources available they ought to use them and those handlers still at Trine had proven their loyalty.

[Siata, tag D'lin/Plexith]
She raised a hand in greeting once Plexith started to communicate to her wher. She glanced at the big bronze one eyed beast at his indignant mental snarl. The wher all but threw his distaste at Plexith and his assumptions with the small words, lips peeled back in a soundless growl.
A slight pat on the head and scritch on the eyebrow ridges calmed him enough for Siata to speak up to the dragon, her grin easy and wide despite the ongoing issues. "Hey, man." One hand on Siask's head, the other gave him a lazy salute. "Smithy Siata and Siask and, yeah, also?"
The grin widened a tad. No anger littered her voice, nothing but cheerful friendliness. "Siask would like me to tell you he isn't a deadglow and that you should probably stop talking to him like he is one. We have a good nose and can see in the dark, so what'cha want us to do, big guy?"
Calm down, pretty, he's not going to bite anyone. And if he does, you can rip out his face. Siata murmured to her wher, scritching above his bad eye. He rumbled. A pause then, rambling on. "And did I hear Kleos?" Maybe? Possibly? As they were talking up maybe?

Adi and Mazamath
As soon as the unfortunate man had been lifted off of her, Adi scrabbled backwards on bloody hands, partly to get out of the way of anyone coming to help him but mostly just to get away, period. There was too much blood, too much, well, too much bad stuff for her to handle. What was going to happen to him? What was even happening to begin with? It didn't help that every time she happened to look down at herself, she was covered in blood.
It didn't take long for the tears to start, and she immediately made the mistake of wiping her face with her hands. Her bloody hands. With a panicked squeak, she tried to wipe them off on her clothes - her only decent clothes! -but those were already bloody as well.
La swooped back down to curl around her neck, crooning in concern. Four more flits of various colors appeared in short order, to cling and nose at her and make sure she was okay, and the brown and green soon disappeared again to 'report' back to Mazamath. She clung to the blue and silver who remained, who tittered and cheeped and tried to comfort her.
AdiMine, you are not hurt? Mazamath didn't want to do what the gold told him. What he wanted was to go to His, but there was no way to get to her. So, grudgingly, he obeyed.
No, I'm not, I just-
You should try to find your friends, Mine. You can help keep each other safe.
That was easier said than done, and Adi remained where she was, frozen.

D'lin/ Plexith Tag Siata//Everyone
'They call themselves Siata and Siask' Plexith relayed to his rider clearly still not entirely impressed with the situation though the handler's less then threatening attitude did much to ease his distaste. Plexith liked people, he especially liked people who seemed willing to do what he wanted them to do, even if said person was a Wherhandler. 'They wish to know what they can do to help.'
D'lin considered for a few moments. "Siata and Siask?" He made mention of the names to those around him, the names were not familiar to him but surely someone in the circle would know. 'Let them in Plexith, ask..politely..if they will help us track what hurt the man.' He mentally bespoke his dragon , putting a heavy influence on the 'polite' part of his order. By the attitude in Plexith's words he'd already deduced that the bronze was not being entirely civil. "I've asked Plexith to see if they can track the culprit for us."
Rumbling at the order Plexith turned his attention back to the Wher and his handler. 'Very well, we would ask if you can track what has wounded the human.' Plexith stated and then he waited...to see if the wher would actually understand. Half of him expected it not to, perhaps it would just stare at him blankly and he would feel vindicated with his earlier instructions.

(sorry for the double post, easier than editing in)
M'lan tag to Kleos/Tanya
M'lan heard the Wingleader's commands and nodded sharply, turning to Tanya he gave a grim smile "stay near the Weyrwoman, you'll be safe there, i'll ask Asoth to let you know what's happening if you like" he offered, waiting until she'd answered before moving towards where he'd been ordered to go "Asoth, report to the Crimson Wingleader" he told the Brown, who nodded and duly reported in to Moriath.
Becka tag to Berath
Becka just clung to Berath until the Green picked her up and moved her towards the group... no...nononono..... Rochelle was there.. and Becka would rather chance the unknown growler but... Berath wanted to keep her safe.. ok... Nightling popped out of Between just after a Crimson and a Silver (two of Bereck's flits) cheeped at her and settled on her, Nightling shifting to make room. "Be safe Berath" she said to the green before she moved off then found herself somewhere that was out of the way where she could just sit down and.. be ... well not alone but not bothersome to anyone, until the dragons had taken care of the threat.
