"Oh sorry...I'm not pulling too hard am I?" he asked letting go of her hand. Turning around he looked her in the eye. "I just got concerned for you back there. I don't know if you felt anything, but I could have sworn it felt as if someone was watching us. We can go back if that's what you want to do?"

"No, it's alright. I told you, I'm new here. This whole place is new to me, so I'm happy doing whatever until I get used to things." Lyria hugged his arm while smiling up at him. "So long as I've got a guide like you I'm fine."

He blushed. What had gotten into her all of a sudden? She wasn't this clingy this morning. "Well I think for now I want to head back now. We can explore this forest some more later ok?" He said smiling warmly down at her.
Her eyes were so lovely and cute, just like her face. As they started back home he allowed her to hang onto his arm as they quietly strolled.
The Oracle watched happily, it seemed that the magic was starting to work. She wouldn't notice she was pregnant right away, yet once they kissed the magic would activate and her womb would start to expand slowly.
Now all there was left to do was to wait for them both to reach that stage. Of course any touch then after the magic was activated would cause the pregnancy to expand further, maybe even surprise them both with an extra baby or two. The Oracle didn't know how many a demoness could hold, but the magic should keep her from exploding if things got out of hand.

Despite being a world away from home and after everything she went through, she was surprisingly smiley. She'd never had the chance to do something like this before. No time to go on a date or anything, and even then most men preferred the typical homemaker type of woman rather than the type that went out killing things. So long as she kept her mind on the wonder of the new world, she was happy.

He was surprisingly happy too. Jowy had just moved to town and was a little shy about dating women. Yet oddly enough, with Lyria snuggled onto his arm like this, it felt so right.
Once they made it back to the house, it was close to noon time. Allowing her to enter first, he shut and locked the door behind them. Letting out a sigh he forgot to clean up the dishes.
"Here let me show you Lyria.." he said motioning for her to follow him over to the sink. Turning the nob water shot out from the spout. "This is called a faucet. It pulls underground water out for me to clean with a drink." he said happily.

"Oooohhhh...." Lyria gazed in wonder at the flowing water, soon entertaining herself a bit by turning the faucets left and right. "Water comes on, water comes off, water comes on, water comes off..." The entire tour of the house and the wide manner of electronics was filled with many a curious smile of wonder, much fiddling and button pushing, and the occasional startled yelp, while the entire time her tail was swaying about eagerly the entire time to learn about these strange new wonders.

He smiled as he gave her another tour. She was just so cute. They finished in his bedroom.
"...as you can see this is a device that plays things called video games." he said showing her a 360 disk and placing it into the game device. "I don't mind of you feel like playing it, just don't do it too much or you might get fat." he teased shutting off the console.
"Well I believe that's everything. Sorry if I went a little fast Lyria, I'm sure you'll get used to it the more you stay here." he smiled placing his hands in his pockets.

"Exactly! If I'm really hopeless you can write up a guide or something for me." Lyria joked while sitting on his bed and bouncing a bit. "Thanks again for letting me stay with you." she said with a smile. "No one back home would ever do something like this with a demon involved."

Bending down he gently gave her nose a poke. "Oh don't worry about it. I couldn't turn out a beautiful girl. It's just wrong, plus you're new to my world. Who knows what kind of trouble you could have gotten yourself into." he said now sitting next to her.
"To be honest, it's nice to have someone to talk to. I'm..kind of lonely." he sighed looking down. "I don't really have many friends yet, plus I'm single so I don't have a girl yet either. I probably should get a pet huh?" he chuckled.
"At least you can tell me about things I never read in the story. I'm sure there's a lot more behind the scenes stuff never written down." he smiled happily looking at her.

"Well, I guess, but....Well there's some things a girl likes to keep to herself, you know?" Lyria said smiling sheepishly. "I'll just say there were things I never had the chance to do between the demon slaying and tending to my brother. I mean, what girl doesn't want a white wedding, you know?" she said looking down at her feet with a shy smile.

"True.." he replied shyly as well, "You'd make a nice and fun wife."
Jowy wasn't sure why he commented the way he did, yet it felt nice to say. Looking away, he was too shy to say what was really on his heart, that he loved her. Not because she was a demon, or that she was a character in a book he felt sorry for, he loved her because she was herself.
"So...." he tried to say unsure of what to say. Did she want him to marry her? I mean that was all too soon, right?

"I'll leave you alone now. I've been pestering you since you woke up." Lyria smiled sheepishly as she stood up. "Thanks again." she gave him a quick peck on the cheek before scurrying off to her room, closing the door behind her.

"No you're not---" she was gone before he could finish. He touched his cheek gently after she kissed it. Laying upon his bed he stared at the ceiling for what seemed like hours.
I should just be honest with myself. The least she could do is turn me down..besides she's cute. he thought finally deciding.
As he left his room and headed to hers, Jowy quietly knocked upon the door. "Uhmmm...L-Lyria? Can we talk I have something I want to tell you...i-if you aren't sleeping that is." he said shyly hoping she wasn't mad at him or anything.

"Yeah?" Lyria was quick to open the door with a smile, obviously having been practicing her human form though this time her wings were her demonic strays. "Come on in!" she said while backing up to sit down on her bed while ending her illusion.

"I see you've been praticing." he said cheerfully as he entered.
Looking down at her, Jowy's heart began to race. Taking a deep breath he took her hand.
"I haven't been honest, and frankly I'm a little scared to tell you but...I...I love you." he said looking away shyly. "It's not because you're a demon, or even a character in a book. I've gotten to meet the real you, and well...I've fallen in love with you. I-I know it's soon and everything but..right now my brain is telling me to listen to my heart and my heart is telling to listen to my brain. I'll understand if you think I'm weird." he said looking into her eyes, expecting to be laughed at her slapped, or both.
