Cody thought about it, he heard her giggle more but then he walked back to her crib, getting the teddy bear but smiled as he gently swayed the bear in front of her to play with her.

Melody started to clap her hands cutely as the bear swayed in front of her. She thoughtit was funny. She then hugs the bear and the hugged Cody.

Cody watched her clap her hands happily but then he thought about it, he felt her hug him after hugging the bear but he was curious, did she like him like a father?

Melody then started t get sleepy after alittle while. SHe yawns and snuggles against Cody comfortable in his arms.

Emily yawned and slowly sat up and stretched she smiled as she walked downstairs and saw Melody and Cody " Sorry about me sleeping so long.." Emily said as she walked over to him and kissed his cheek

Cody looked at Melody seeing that she snuggled more into his arms as she seemed like she was about to fall asleep but then Cody looked up at Emily when she walked downstairs. He shook his head a bit when she said that but then blushed when she kissed his cheek. He looked at her, "Its okay..." He said shyly, gently rocking Melody in his arms to help her sleep.

" She seems to really like you... i guess she accepted you as her father.." Emily said and then looked away quickly a light blush appearing on her cheeks and she smiled as she walked over to the couch and sat down folding her hands in her lap " Would you think it would be weird if i told you i love you.." Emily asked and looked down at her hands the blush darkening on her cheeks

Cody heard what she said and blushed looked down at Melody but then thought about it, "Would I be a good enough father for her?" He asked softly but then he thought about it when she sat down on the couch and said that. He blushed thinking about it, "You... you love me?" He asked shyly.

Emily nodded her head at him and looked up at him tears coming into her eyes and she sighed softly " Yes you would and of course i do....your the only one who's shown me any kindness since Zero passed away.." Emily said and sighed as she wiped her eyes on her sleeves and then looked back at Cody a light blush appearing on her cheeks

Cody looked at her when she said that, he blushed thinking about it but sighed a bit, "I mean... you barely know me... I am always kind to everyone and it just seemed that you needed some kindness then anyone else..." He said softly, the one thing that was going through his mind was that he was surprised anyone could feel love for him.
