Meiko noticed Amelia from the corner and smiled back as she was walking away. And then, Meiko laughs lightly at Steven and shook her head. "N'ah, it's quite alright. So Steven, I haven't seen you much in any class... why is that? Oh, and if it's personal, please don't answer."

((Been performing in the local music festival. Practicing and performing kills most of my time lately. It's been fun, but a lot of work.))
I've been quite wrapped up in life lately... I hope to have more time soon.

Ravenclaw, 4th Year
Music walked up to the Astronomy Tower. She felt like throwing herself off it. But she couldn't. She wanted to see her family and learn more magic.
She sat down and felt the small breeze."I wish someone would ask me too the dance."She said hoping the wind would catch her words and take them to someone.

Finally sick of being lonely, Music got up and headed toward the common. "Maybe someone will find and ask me there"She said determined not to go alone.

After the dance, Al asked Drago to come with her, and she led him to the astronomy tower. Though students normally weren't allowed up there besides classes, it was the end of the year. She didn't think anyone would mind. She leaned up against Drago and looked up at the gorgeous night sky with it's twinkling stars.

"It's beautiful up here." Drago said, he was never really confortable with heights, but because he was with Al, he didn't care about it. All he cared about was spending this moment with her.

After a few hours of stargazing with Drago they walked back to the common room getting ready to pack for tommorow, when at the end of the day, they'd part ways until they saw eachother in the summer.

Donavon facepalmed at her joke and laughed a bit.
"You would say that." He laughed as they reached the astronomy tower. The stars had been bright in the great hall, but it wasn't them same as watching them like this. The moon shone brightly above them, not quite full as it would be on Sunday.
"The headmistress told me..." He said a bit quietly, still looking at the moon and still holding her hand, "That the new student, the 6th year boy Lucas is a werewolf." He looked at her. "She said she'd told staff because she'd want you to make the Wolfsbane potion later and all. But I guess that's why he's older-looking." He sighed. He felt really bad for the boy...Donny had felt like a monster, pariah, outcast, when he was traveling. He knew Ayamae felt like one herself when she remembered her own past, though of course she wasn't. He knew Lillian felt like one when she was laughing and suicidal. But every full moon this boy really was turned into one.
"I've always kinda wondered since Wolfsbane potion came out, "He said thoughtfull, "is it really for the better? True, it means they don't attack. But it also means they are in their own mind. So they know what they look like, they remember the pain more clearly, right? Isn't it better to spare them the memories of it?"

Ayamae sighed.
"Honestly, I feel terrible that they have to remember the pain, and know what they look like...but this potion has done a lot of noticeable good. There have been less werewolf attacks, people with lycanthropy can live semi-normal lives...the way that I have to look at it when I prepare the potion is that at least they're not going to bite someone, because they'll know how awful it is to bite someone."
She squeezed his hand. She knew that he was feeling bad for Lucas.
"If it makes you feel any better, potioneers everywhere are trying to make changes to the potion, trying to make it so the recipient won't remember things, even to help with the pain of transformation. Unfortunately, many of the things added to the wolfsbane potion nullify its effects, like sugar."

"You're right." He said, nodding. "I've just never really met a boy so young who's infected with it." He hated the treatment Werewolves received. True, it had improved some, but people still acted like he was poisoned and unworthy of their friendship or attention. He decided to change the subject because it was kinda pointless to sit here on a gorgeous night with the love of his life talking about something they couldn't change, they can't change how the world thinks. He scooted over a bit closer to her and squeezed her hand back. As sappy and cheesy as he sounded, he spoke his mind.
"I think in the past month I've been away, I've forgotten how beautiful you are." He looked at her eyes shining and reflecting the moonlight.
"Either that or I've just never appreciated it enough before." Ever since he'd got back to Hogwarts, he was amazed though not surprised to find Ayamae looking lovelier than he could have imagined.

Ayamae giggled and blushed. He was such a charmer.
"You should've seen me a couple of weeks ago. I looked awful. Couldn't metamorph worth a damn...thighs got huge..."
She shuddered just thinking about it. She was so glad that she was finally back to normal. She never wanted to look all disgustingly fat around Donny.
