"Kuchiki-san?" It only took a millisecond for Rukia's eyes to perceptively widen with astonishment as to who she's bumped into. The waist-long orange hair, the beautiful, sparkling gray eyes, the large bust... She felt herself looking down to the ground, muttering her name shyly. "I-Inoue...?" "Kuchiki~san!!!" The voice had noticeably changed as Orihime glomped Rukia with all the loving, sisterly compassion in the world, so happy to see her again. The Kuchiki's mood also changed at the same moment. Once shocked and shy, all the way back up to surprised and nonchalant, as she just stood there being hugged like there was no tomorrow. She simply raised her gentle arms, hugging Inoue back. "Oh Rukia-chan!" Orihime squealed with delight. "I never knew dying could be so much fun!" Two violet eyes suddenly went blank with both slight offense and shock, as she raised a shaking finger. D-Did she just say...?! Aaaaand here came the bubbly rambling. All Rukia could contemplate through the whole speech was the white kimono with blue hibiscus flowers she was wearing. "At first after I died in that hospital room, I just saw myself staring at you and Dawn-chan while I was a ghost, and then these two really nice shinigami came in and led me through a big shiny Senkaimon up to the Soul Society! Next thing I knew, I was standing here surrounded by so much cool merchandise and even though those shinigami were gone I was still having lots of-"
"Inoue-san..." Orihime's had tilted with a soft and bubbly 'hm?' as she contemplated blankly what Rukia was gonna say. But Rukia just couldn't being herself to say it. And instead, she offered Orihime a hand, a warm smile spreading across her face. Though her cold, hard gaze remained the same. "...Let's go home. To our new life together." Orihime's eyes sparkled excitedly before she instantly grabbed her best friend's hand, running at a speed almost as fast as a shunpo, back to the Southern Seireitei Gate to go to her new home... Please Spirit King, Rukia internally prayed, please let this be a blessing...
