Sin shrugged. It was only a worry if it lasted for longer than a day or so. "It depends. Right now, it doesn't. You are going to learn something that will take awhile to perfect. Headaches are the least of your worry." He mused back, padding closer to Odi. This would hurt if Odi did not listen to him completely.

Odi eyes narrowed some as he heard Sins latest statement. If he said this splitting headache was the least of his worries...was it possible for him to hurt himself from this? "I see...alright then." He said straightening up his posture. He would of been an ideal kit to teach if he wasn't an adult.

Sin touched Odi's forehead with a paw, sighing at him. He had patience, but he hated teaching others, mostly because he wasn't the teaching type. "I am going to teach you how to block others out." He mused. Of course, not Sin out, why ever would he teach Odi that?

"Okay..." He said as he thought it over quickly. If it was some mind fight he was having yeah that would be useful. Although the fact Sin was teaching it to him now was strange, unless their was some alternative motive to it or some loop hole he'll realize later.

Sin sat down, licking his paw. He relaxed himself, limp and relaxed. Without warning, he sent his mind after Odi, ripping roughly into his mind and starting to pull at memories, using his ability to throw seemingly hurtful ones he managed to brush upon at Odi, twisting the memories so that they came out darker than they originally were. He hadn't moved even, still licking his paw.

Odi eyes narrowed as he saw Sin just sit down and relaxed. The way he acted made him frown as he suddenly felt his headache crack in his head open wide painfully and he growled as he fought the sudden pain and memories.
The memories ranged from his brother and sister trying to kill him to the time his dad threw him in river and he was attacked by a alligator. He fought against them to no avail, he even felt some of the pain from bites or the feeling of drowning. He dropped to the ground as a memory of his first bloodlust incident flashed through his head horribly twisted.
All the while he saw Sin not even move from what he was doing.

Sin continued his game, still grooming himself. He could feel Odi's pain, but it barely fazed him. Pain was just an emotion he was highly used to by now. Pain was his tormentor, and his gift to others, it was a simple part of his daily life. He dug in further, learning about Odi's past as he did. He seemed to be reading Odi, ripping apart whatever he could find and showing Odi his most painful memories, adding physical pain of each event as he went along.
Finally, he moved, however did not finish his attack. Instead, his lips twisted into a demonic smile, laughter in his eyes. "Come on Odi. You can stop this." He wasn't even using half of his ability, just using the standard grabbing and ripping technique. No, Odi would be in a lot more pain if he went further. But he didn't. Why? Odi was starting to become accepted by the dark fox.
"Your mind is open like a door. I can read whatever I want to. I can tear anything I want. I can even implant memories. Where is your lock? You don't have one." He moved closer to Odi, lowering his head by the foxes ear, eyes narrowing. "So make one."

Odi trembled as he fought to deal with the memories that were rushing into him. Every time he tried to stop it another would start and get worse. Then he heard Sin's voice, it bounced around his head like daggers but he understood what he meant.
He knew that trying to fight the memories was only useless, they just kept coming and worse. He had enough bad history to allow him to go as long as he wanted. He had to do something different. He pictured a door like Sin said and concentrated on closing the door with all his mental though.
"Get out..." He growled, his past was his own. Last thing he wanted was someone just ripping them out.

Sin felt resistance at his advances, amused. It did not effect him much, but Odi did not have to know that. To anyone else, it would surely block them out and repel them, and he was teaching just that. He withdrew as if Odi had blocked him out, a mock surprise on his face. He did not have plans to actually inflict pain upon Odi, but it was always good to have that option open, and he wasn't going to just let Odi prevent him from accessing. In the future, the ability to access peoples minds that were loyal to him would be useful, just in case of betrayal.
"It seems your skill is more defined in blocking. You learned it quickly. However, how long can you keep that door shut?" He questioned, giving Odi an allowed break before once more ripping into Odi's mind.

The feel and sense of the door that he pictured closing was horrible. He didn't know if his push even had a decent effect but in his mind the door started to close. Finally when he felt it close he suddenly felt the ripping feeling go away.
He looked at Sin ignoring the look, he knew it didn't make sense. "What's your game?" he said his breathing ragged as he suddenly felt the door open partway in his mind and he immediately shut it but he couldn't hold it for long. Sin was stronger he knew that, so what was he looking? Or was this a test of wills.

SIn smiled, not answering. Instead, he threw himself into Odi's mind once more, slamming the door open roughly. "Come on, try harder." Odi would not win completely, but Sin would try and make him able to block anyone else out. Odi had amazing potential, he planned to use it. Odi was impressive, to say the least.

The anger that Odi felt was something that he hoped Sin could feel right now as he kept pushing at the door. Odi wasn't as upset at the pain, he was upset from all his personal past being forced from him.
Wanting it closed and private again forced him to work harder to get to it closed. Seeing it starting to move he shoved it as hard as his mental ability could go. Seeing it get close to the edge he gave a final shove and a unconscious lock appear on it as he tettered on the edge of worldly consciousness.

He allowed Odi to shove him back, nodding in approval. Good, Odi was learning very quickly. He was strong in magic, and he was impressed. He stopped his attack, padding up to Odi. "Very good. I have a job for you, Odi." Within this new tribe he already had a feel for the various jobs for the tribe, and one was magician. Odi would be highly useful in this, and with further training he could even give Sin a challenge. He was a perfect candidate, even better he could help train the others.

Odi looked up silently at Sin, his vision had started had been challenged all of the sudden. The strange relent of the seige on his mind was as confusing and relieving that only those who have suddenly found a attack at their walls just stopping. As he moved to Sin he started to see his vision clear, the edges were lined with black that seemed to want to invite him into it's empty world. In the middle of that was a slight pink, a indicator his bloodrage had started into "incubation". Still, the worse thing was his ears, sound came in booming and loud and Sin didn't help.
He silently managed to steady his rather breathing before speaking. "That...is?"

"I like you." He finally said, nodding to himself. He suddenly glanced at Odi with narrowed eyes, shaking his head. "Not like that you twit, just in case you misunderstand me." He added, licking his paw before smirking at Odi. "No, hardly like that. Stay with me. Stay here, in fact. Be a Magician, you are talented, I won't lie. Magicians specialize in what I am teaching you, and many others will need this skill. I want you to be the one to teach them to use it." He noticed Odi's odd stance, how he looked almost like he did when he first saw him. He would have to be wary of that, maybe he could remove it from him with his mental capabilities. One day.
"This will be a welcoming home for you." He seemed to be actually giving Odi a real choice this time around, respecting Odi enough to do so. Very few could ever receive something wasn't an order from him.
