Mileena Mayu ~ Genin ~ Mayu Clan ~ Kirigakure ~
'I'm going to be teaming up with him?' was the first thought that tiptoed into Mileena's mind Deil's words. It had literally been seconds ago that her thoughts so audaciously almost revealed her distrust of him, now she was to go about accomplishing tasks such as making repairs on the village gates and devising stratagems for tactical ameliorations that can be made. She listened intently to each word he had to say, then her eyes opened slightly wider when he summoned the three clones. 'I can feel so many sad emotions coming from him. I see why he would want to take precautions. We've made it so obvious that we distrust him,so it's only natural for him to believe that we may try to sabotage him during his time as Mizukage'. Mileena sighed, or at least did the action without the sound.
Mileena wasn't sure why, but she felt something akin to happiness that she was picked to be a part of Deil's team, no matter how short-lived it may be. What made it even better is that she was on a team with her first real friend in years, Kiyoko, the girl beside her who shared the same strange abilities that she did. She was sure to leave her mind open to Kiyoko, refusing to shut her out in any way. It was a bond that had formed upon a first encounter, and Mileena wanted it to last. She spoke through Matsuya's and Rios' mind, telling them 'goodbye' before she turned with the Mizukage as he proceeded to exit the building, heading towards the village gates to get started on their first assignment.

Matsuya nodded as he was tossed the scroll. So he was in charge. It was strange that he was picked over Rios, who had much more experience as a shinobi. Well, no matter. Matsuya wouldn't argue the point. He bowed to Deil and finally spoke an actual sentence. "I'm honored that you trust me to lead the repairs on your tower, Mizukage-sama. I won't let you down." As Deil and the girls left, Matsuya gave them each a small nod of goodbye. He was suprised to hear Mileena actually speak to him. It was the first time she had, even if it was only a goodbye. Matsuya turned to Rios, a small smile on his face. "So how should we go about this? We'll need to get supplies first and foremost." Matsuya had compiled a small list of things they would need in his head.

Rios stepped aside as the Mizukage weaseled himself through to leave the office, and so it was. He had his orders, clean and repair the tower, it was suffice. He gave a polite wave to Mileena and Kiyoko as they left and turned to the next highest shinobi in charge. He smiled as he new Matsuya would complete this mission extraordinarily. "Your right on that one boss, we need to get a..." Rios paused as he put down his bag of groceries and pulled a new sheet of paper from his grocery list and a pencil and he already began jotting a list down. "Um, new window panes, roof shingles, what else do you think we need in the way of supplies?"

Matsuya's small smile grew a bit as Rios' list matched his own mental one. "I'm thinking some lumber for the siding. We'll need the various nails and the like to make sure everything stays in place, too. I don't want a piece of siding falling on someone's head." A thought hit Matsuya as he spoke of the siding. He didn't know how they would be able to fix the siding on a building this tall. He'd read of a jutsu that could be used, but Matsuya didn't know how they'd get ahold of the scroll. Matsuya also knew that if he was the leader, than he could rely on those he commanded for information. So he turned to Rios for help. "Rios, how does Deil plan on us fixing the siding? I mean, I can't stand on a wall 10 stories up and nail in siding. I don't know about you." Matsuya knew that Rios was a more experienced shinobi than he was, so maybe Rios knew.

Rios nodded as Matsuya continued the list adding lumber, nails, siding, hammers, and etc. It seemed like all the major things that they would need but they could always be missing something. Rios doubted that though. He looked up from his note pad as Matsuya asked a particular question, "Well I know there are metal loops that you can harness ropes to and repel yourself down to your proper height. It's what we had to do when we repainted the tower about a year ago. Either that or you can learn enough chakra control to walk up walls, though I don't think I can match you on that level of skill if it comes to that."

Hyouton Nero | Genin | Kirigakure "If it can be done... Nero walked in, hesitant about the questionable legitimacy of the on-spot, same day appointment with the Mizukage, himself apparently. Not to mention, there was no wait, as in nobody else was seeing him, it seemed sort of strange, and with a quick glimpse around the room, an unimpressed Nero realized that it seemed strange, because it was strange.
He quickly noticed a few Genin, as well as some people, who appeared to be clones. "Hi...can I speak to the Mizukage? Or...a clone? Or a secretary or something?" He asked, hesitantly, with one hand in his pocket and the other holding the top board of the back of a wooden chair. He realized quickly those were clones of the Mizukage, probably there to greet and talk to people like Nero, who weren't here on official or political business, or to assassinate the Mizukage.
He had been feeling pretty useless. Pretty good about everything, but he felt as though his policy of doing nothing, wasn't exactly cutting it the past few days. He knew some stuff had happened in the past few days, and decided to try and be helpful for a change, instead of just sitting around being a sloth all day every day. "Is there anything I can do around the village to help out? I just came wanting some work to occupy some time, and get out into the fresh air. Been spending too much time at home, being useless." He said, slightly embarrassed at this. He didn't turn red or anything, but it was clear to all that even he wasn't completely thrilled about having to admit that, or having done it at all.
He raised an eyebrow seeing one of the clones standing there smiling with his hands at his sides, doing absolutely nothing. It was just sitting there. The other two were being somewhat productive, so he assumed he'd be talking directly to the seemingly useless clone, if any of them. That or he'd just be kicked out, it was too early to tell, he hadn't gotten the slightest response yet, but as they were clones, it wasn't as if they had minds of their own, somebody had to make them tick, so he understood. He leaned against the wall, with his hands behind his head, closing his eyes waiting for a response. He opened an eye slightly, only to see there was hair in his face. He quickly used his mouth to blow it out of the way, getting it out of his face on the 3rd try.
Normally offering to do work, possibly serious work that didn't have an easy way out, went completely against his laziness policy, but in this case, the overwhelming feeling of a wasted week was unable to be ignored, and had to take precedent over his old ways. Though, he calmly assured himself that he wouldn't be doing this frequently. Rank: - Description: - [Chakra Pool: 34/34] [Stamina Pool: 25/25] ...it can be avoided." Battle Theme / General Theme

Matsuya nodded as Rios told him about the harness loops. "That's going to have to work for now, I guess. I haven't tried to even muster chakra since I graduated, so I might be rusty." Matsuya, of course, was being modest. His record at the academy would show that he'd been a top student in chakra manipulation. He also had excelled in book work, his favorite class. But that was a story in itself. He glanced at the boy who had entered. The kid was his age, but strangely Matsuya couldn't put a name to the face "Well the Mizukage is over at the gates. He did leave these clones here, though. Just so you know, he's tasking people to repair the buildings around the village." Matsuya didn't mind sharing information like that, but the information on him was strictly need to know. He turned back to Rios and scratched his head. "Well I suppose it's time we went to go get supplies, don't you agree? Even if he was in charge, Matsuya wasn't one to give someone the same rank as him orders like he was a jounin or something. That just wasn't his style.

xxxxThe blonde raised an eyebrow as Deil nodded, seemingly in agreement with her, and leaned back slightly in her chair. Her lips were pressed together in a line as she silently observed the way the Mizukage moved as he spoke, his lips forming the words as if he'd practiced or recited them before. At the word "beneficial," however, she snorted softly and shook her head, several strands of her blonde hair falling into her face. A small smile appeared on his face as he leaned forward, as if to tell her the secrets of the universe. However, rather than leaning towards him, Synn carefully used the heel of her foot to slide her chair several inches away from him. He would not touch her again. As a general rule, Synn didn't really get along with men. Actually, she really didn't get along with women, either, but that was another story. Either way, she wanted to keep any physical contact with Deil at a minimum, mostly due to the fact that he'd seized her by the throat. His voice lowered to a whisper as he continued speaking, and Synn was careful to keep her face blank and stoic as she listened to his words with an almost bored expression on her face. xxxx"Fear is beneficial, you say? It's a good idea to isolate the shinobi that have the potential to be the strongest in the village. Is that what you believe? Anyone who believes that is a fool." Her words were naught more than a hiss escaping from between her clenched teeth as she glared outright. "If you leave someone isolated, if you take away any friends and family the person might have, resentment forms. Furthermore, any resentment that forms will be directed at the very people you are struggling to protect. Do you honestly believe I would be willing to risk my a**, to waste my energy, defending people who fear and resent me?" She scoffed as she stretched out her long, tan legs, crossing them at the ankle and folding her arms over her chest. "Allow me to inform you: you are dead wrong. I struggle to protect my comrades, not my enemies. Simply being from Kirigakure does not make a person my comrade. Even you. The fact that you are the Mizukage does not mean that you are my friend, let alone my comrade. It means that you are running this village, that you rank higher than me, and nothing more than that. It does not make you or anyone else my friend, something I've lived without since I became a Jinchuuriki." Her amethyst eyes were cold and blank as she stared into Deil's eyes, making sure she got her point across loud and clear. "If I were to ever get into a fight with the Akatsuki, aided by my teammates or otherwise, you can be sure of one thing: the amount of damage caused by the fight would not make me lose one bit of sleep. I could travel to Hell and back, tear down the sky, or level the entire shinobi world if I chose to do so. The people who resent me for something I did not volunteer for would only stand in my way. And those who stand in my way will be removed. You earn my trust or you earn my resentment. It would not matter in the least if I leveled Kirigakure. I could move on to another village. I will not go out of my way to save those who resent me." xxxxHer voice shook at the end of her rant. Her words, however, were perfectly clear, though spoken in a deadpan. Her amethyst eyes were hard and cold as she stared at Deil, allowing her true nature, her hidden resentment, to show through her carefully constructed facade. "You don't know. None of you know. I live as an orphan by choice. My parents are dead by their own choice. I had to look every day into the eyes of a mother who couldn't even bring herself to look at me, because she considered me a shame, an atrocity. Me, her daughter, her own flesh and blood. My father was never home, not even the day that it was too much for my mother. She killed herself to keep from bringing another monster like me into the world. And my father followed shortly thereafter, but not before he abandoned me for another wife, father my sister, Midori." Her shoulders were shaking, her jaw clenched tight as the hot tears pricked at the corners of her eyes. "You don't know. None of you know." Her hands clenched into tight fists as she allowed them to drop back into her lap. "I would fight through Hell and high water, bring villages to their knees, or tear down the heavens for my sister because she is the only person who has never resented me, looked at me as if I were a monster. Even that other girl that was in here earlier looked at me as if I were a freak. I defend those who earn it, those who push aside their resent for me and become my comrades, not ungrateful children who are so close-minded that they cannot even accept a Jinchuuriki into their village." “Don‘t you ever wonder how we’ve survived?"

Hyouton Nero | Genin | Kirigakure "If it can be done... Nero sighed. Back outside that meant. He was lazy, and good at doing nothing, but he was very impatient. He decided he might as well just go try his luck with the Mizukage in person, down by the gate, since that's where he was, and that's where the work was too. He yawned and turned to walk out the door.
"Thanks for the tip off. I appreciate it." He said, with a grin. He put his hands in his pockets and walked over to the window. He looked out, there was a lot going on, and the village was busy. He looked out and saw the gate, in complete ruin. He sighed...what a job...he had no clue why he was doing this. His brain was saying it wasn't worth it, but he supposed his brain, which was right about 95% of the time, wasn't right this time, and that he'd feel bad, should he decide not to go.
He put his hand on the sliding door and shifted it to the side slightly, not opening it all the way. He looked down and sighed. Jutsu...the gate...sleep....more jutsu....so much to do...so much practice...this is going to be a busy couple of days. A busy couple of days for sure... He thought to himself, a bit saddened at the thought of so much work, but he decided he might as well get started. Not waiting for the Mizukage's clones to respond, and taking the advice from the other guy in the room, he opened the sliding door all the way, before looking back into the office one final time, before closing the door and leaving the tower, to the outside area, where he was to find the Mizukage and find some work to do.

Rios took a quick glance around to see if there was anything else hat he was missing out on before just stuffing his notebook back inside his shirt, he didnt respond to the newcomer in the room as Matsuya took care of that for him, so he just waited for them to finish talking and the new guy to leave before starting with Mat again, "You ready to head out?" he asked, signifying that he was done and ready to good purchase the goods.

Matsuya nodded to Rios. "Yeah, let's go. Matsuya started to walk down the stairs of the office, deep in thought again. Normally he didn't like to lead the way, to many people behind you to do things. But if this was his first test of leadership ability, he would have to do his best to impress Deil. A small sigh escaped his lips as he left the main door of the tower. He'd asked for none of this. But he wanted people to know that he wasn't some freak. And the only way to do that was to be respected and looked up to. To do that, he'd no doubt have to pass alot more tests than this. He kept walking towards the Marketplace. They'd no doubt find all of the things on their list there.

Tsukiko Airi | Kirigakure | Wangetsu Lunar Clan | Medic | Agile | Intelligent | Sexy | Genin |Tsukiko had a hard time finding what was precisely the Mizukage's office. Not because she had never been there before or because she was unfamiliar with the village, no she had been in this Village for almost ten years now. It was because since all the wild Bijuu she couldn't help but stop and stare at all the destruction. She whistled softly under her breath. It was...to be honest, amazing and inspirational. That kind of power would be intense. To say so would sound homicidal and sociopath, no doubt, and Tsukiko had no intention of voicing such feelings or showing even the littlest bit of admiration. That reminds me...I would really like to find that ninja that sealed the Bijuu in. I wonder if she is anything like me... Eventually, Tsukiko made her way to what her memory called the Mizukage's Office. "New genin Tsukiko Airi, representative of the Wangetsu Clan, beginner medic, reporting for duty. I am here to request a mission of the Mizukage in hopes to become a better shinobi." She stared not into the room but past it. It was impolite to poke around anywhere you might not be wanted or welcomed, and she certainly wasn't going to be snooping around their leader's office. She made her statement loud enough that were anyone in that room or nearby they could help, and if she got no reply, she would seek help elsewhere. “There's no certainty - only opportunity.”

Tsukiko Airi | Kirigakure | Wangetsu Lunar Clan | Medic | Agile | Intelligent | Sexy | Genin |She couldn't tell if it was a blessing or a curse. No one heard her talk to herself and stand around looking like an idiot, that was a blessing. It was a curse that she couldn't find anyone to help her or tell her where the mizukage is. And if she couldn't find the mizukage, she couldn't help the village. and if she couldn't help the village, there was no way she could get stronger and she would be a weak and pathetic ninja and she would never live up to the honor of her clan and she would be cast out and never cared about or remembered and she was doomed, doomed, doomed. She sank down on the floor and sat on her legs. She was pathetic, to let this tiny thing effect her so. one hand drew out a kunai and the other forcefully pulled down the red scarf that covered her neck. She brought up the kunai and made a small cut on her throat. It bled a little, but Tsukiko fixed the scarf and it was no longer noticeable. She replaced the kunai and got up. "Well, where to head to now?" She said to no one in particular. Right, the Bijuu host. Or the mizukage. Either way, I'll be able to recognize them. Their life forces will be much more different than the other ninja around them. Now the only question is where would be the first place to look... Her stomach issued a cry of revolution. Food first, then. I could check out that Hangout Restaurant, or the marketplace will have some food to go. Out of a pouch on her butt, she pulled out a bronze coin. She most often used it to decide which gambling games to play, or whether or not to have another drink. She flipped it and it came up heads: marketplace. Which was good, as it was also so busy surely someone was there who could help her find a ninja in charge. {Exit to Marketplace} “There's no certainty - only opportunity.”

Matsuya arrived, followed by the men carrying the cart of materials. They looked at him quizically, as if asking where to put the stuff. Matsuya's smile grew a little at this. "Umm...you can put the wood siding over at the base of the tower. The shingles can be carried to the roof, if you don't mind. The nails and stuff can go by the siding. And that window goes upstairs to the Mizukage's office." The men nodded and started going about their business of taking the materials to their individual positions. Matsuya squated, letting the edge of his robe touch the ground. He'd wait for them to finish and then get to work. He'd just get in the way of the workers.
