Echo
Echo had a startled look as Soi wrapped his arms around her. She didn't expect him to do that. Echo squirmed a bit to try and escape, but to no avail. She heard him say sorry, but before she could retaliate verbally he had kissed her on the forehead. Echo froze immediately, her cheeks turned a bright red and she quickly averted her gaze from Soi. ''I-...w-well.'' She couldn't quite finish her sentence, but her sheepish glance was a good indicator that she had raised her white flag. ''Y-you should just be more careful...people worry about you.''Echo replied defiantly. Finally she was able to come up with a proper sentence without stuttering much. Echo glanced up at Soi with a weak smile. She was still in a very embarrassed state with the kiss and all. So she couldn't keep a straight face without blushing.

 Soi Nécessita Engarde
His kind smile had never left his face the whole time this had happened. He then let go of her ans stepped back. "Well from now on you will be there with me" He said reassuringly showing her that he wanted to be with her on every mission he went on. "And if for some reason I cant be, I will be even more careful then i normally am" He said with another warm smile. He then Sat back down on the bed that he had been sleeping on. "Sorry... The whole people worrying about me thing' is all kind of new to me" He said with a smile, thrown off a bit by Echo's comment about people caring; his parents really didn't care much for him when he was back at home; and why should they be worried they where told he was here for a Fencing Scholarship; not to be the front line of defense for humanity against what most people called the devil.
He then looked at Echo who was still blushing and he chuckled slightly. "Your even cuter then normal when you blush" He said standing up from the bed and stretching slightly. Before looking at Toppan. "Am I good to leave?" He asked tilting his head slightly.

Jeanne Toppan The doctor is: IN~!
Toppan, who had just been watching the midst of the young couple, was a bit disappointed that she did not use the lead pipe on him, especially when he was slightly comatose, but had relished and took in from the scene that played before her and finally spoke,
"Oh, yessss, of course," she said, smoothing out her skirt and rearranging her scarf, "Just be sure to remember what I said, Echo. That's all. Ohhhh! And Bonnie? Clyyyyyyde?"
Clyde let out a loud snore and a grunt as he jumped to his feet and fixed his hat, hair, and mask as he murmered, "Iwussentsleepin'."
"Yes?" chirped Bonnie as she answered on behalf on the both of them.
"How was it like with Soi? The missssion, I mean. How was it?"
"Great! He ain't such a bad man, I tell you. He's very nice, I should say."
Clyde merely dignified Bonnie's response with a grunt and put his hands in his pockets, "Kid's a smart-a**. 'Minds me of me when I was growing up. 'Cept I never had me no scarf or fancy car when I was growin' up in the cardboard condo. Couldn't afford it."
"... But, he's alright with me," said Clyde finally as he walked out the door. Bonnie waved her goodbyes to Soi and Echo and followed after him, "Clyde! Wait! What's the idea of leavin' me beh...!"

Echo
Echo raised a brow at what Soi said about people and worrying. 'Is that really something new?' Then again not everybody had somebody there to care or even worry about them. Echo was just lucky i guess, who knows where she would have been if there was nobody to guide her the right direction! Well, even with nobody around...she still might have turned out the same. 'It just depends on the person i guess.' Her thoughts were interrupted by Soi's last statement. ''W-what?! Cute?!'' she huffed and turned away from Soi, sticking her tongue out defiantly. ''Seems like the drugs are still messing with your brain.'' Echo mumbled and turned her gaze to Nurse Toppan and smiled brightly. ''Right! Thank you for everything you've done, Toppan. I just hope we'll see you on different circumstances next time.''She smiled and rubbed the back of her head nervously. Echo then turned and waved as she made her way out the door. ~Nora Levine~ "Cano tasay noni, cano nimono..."
After Bonnie, Clyde, Soi, and Echo left the Nurse's Office, Nora came rushing in as she dragged Marcus through the door and set him on the bed to rest.
"HELP!" she yelled, picking up his shirt as she put the poor dog down next to him. Her face already filled with worry and guilt as Toppan got up from her seat and calmly walked over to the two.
"Oh my..."
"Th-The dog's hurt two. C-Can you h-h-help them, please?"
"... My dear, of course I can. And the dog too. Just sit down, relax, and have a lolli."
"..." Nora was seated to a chair in front of Toppan's desk and eyed at the bright red that was given to her; something told her not to take the candy, but did so anyway as she took the wrapper off and placed it in her mouth...

MARCUS FAUST Strength is not in defense... Marcus barely kept consciousness while being drug through the door and laid on the bed. "We got the soul Toppan..." He said as he lightly beat his chest with his fist, in confidence then passing out from blood loss. He was back, back to the dream, right were he left off, Raizel dying in his arms. ...but in ATTACK!!

Jeanne Toppan The doctor is: IN~!
"That's good to hear," whispered Toppan as she took out a gray syringe from her apron pocket, injecting his upper thoracic cavity with it as she took out another syringe, but a bottle this time, and shook it as she stuck the needle in and drew out whatever chemical she had in it as it filled up to 100mg.
"... What are you doing?"
"I injected his right capillary beds with a little something I just whipped up 2 weeks ago in case something like this happened. Of course, I'm still getting past the first stages of the test subje--I mean, patient, dealing with a bit of myalgia, but he'll be good as new when I give him a dose WITH THIS~!" she exclaimed, lifing the needle high into the air as it sparkled.
... Nora looked scared now. What did she get herself into...?!
"Not to worry, not to worryyyyyy~! He'll be fine, I promise~! Just need to give him a fair dose of this," said Toppan as she injected his wrist with the dark, inky-blue substance, "And the puncture at his abdomen should heal in no time. It's a cell regrowth process. I've managed to find a way to form tissue and organs back with certain stages of mitosis. Now, the patient I had before healed up quite nicely, but I can't WAIT to see what happens when it reforms MUSCLES~! Truly amazing~!"
"You mean it's going to hurt?!"
"Huh? Oh, well... Yes, I'd imagine so... But his wound and organs will construct back to the way they were~! Promise~!"
"... How is this possible again?"
"Well, it's difficult for a student to understand, but you see, when--"
As Toppan explained a rather boring process of speeding up cell regrowth and stopping it just in time before any other unwanted side-effect could happen, Nora began staring at Marcus sleeping and sighed as she felt herself ease up to Toppan's lecture.
... No wonder she didn't want to explain it in the first place. Already, she was falling asleep...

MARCUS FAUST Strength is not in defense... Marcus's body showed no signs of pain, but through his mind's eye his own version of hell ensued. His love lay dead in his arms, he was too late, her eyes filled with gloss. Tears streamed from his face as he hoisted her up and carried her over his shoulder and took off running, there was no way he was going to leave her here for them to do what they wanted with her body. He ran as fast as he could, slipping through the crack in the fence of the camp, and kept going. He looked down at one of his wrists, they symbolized everything he hated, the people he would kill for taking his world away from him. Marcus's eyes quickly became puffy from the crying as he reached the outskirts of a small train station town, he would be able to stow away and hopefully get out of the country. ...but in ATTACK!!

Jeanne Toppan The doctor is: IN~!
Nora bite her lip as she watched Marcus toss and turn in his sleep, murmering as the wound in his belly began to seal up slowly...
"H-Hey! L-Look! It's working!" said Nora with glee as she pointed at the puncture near his diaphragm and abdominal cavity.
"Of course it works!" said Toppan as she took out the lollipop from her mouth with a loud 'POP', "I told you, I've been testing this for months, and it still has its minor little side effects. Nothing serious, though."
"The bite on his neck is starting to turn pink..."
"His epithelial cells are starting to reconstruct tissue he lost during that battle. Pretty soon, he should be healed up in about oh, 2 hours tops. Assuming that he wakes up. If there's one thing I can't stand, it's patients who are actually sick or injured... Can't play with them that way..."
"What else have you made, Toppan?"
"Quite a few drugs that'll set the records straight in the medical field. Mind youl, no one would buy them or use them. They think it's too dangerous to handle illegal opiates and chemicals for medicinal use. But now that you mention it, I HAVE been working on something that requires alot of testing..."
"What is it?"
"... I call it 'SKIP'. It's a wavelength disrupter for witches; one dose of this, and their magic will decline considerably. Their souls disintergrated from the mass amount of atropine and scopolamine I used for the chemical bases of the drug. Think of it as a 'tranquilizer' for advanced witches who are too stubborn to be put down. This is going to be the next big thing in Witch Hunts, I'm telling you..."
"Is it finished yet?"
"... Noooooooooot quite. I'm still testing it. So far, it's reduced the levels of kishin activity, but their's always the slight chance that the compound WILL KILL the afreet."
"Isn't that good?"
"NO! What fun will that be?! We have a tradition here at Shibusen! And SKIP here will only be used as a last resort item in case of emergency proceeders. Understand?"
"Sort of..."

MARCUS FAUST Strength is not in defense... Marcus's eyes shot open, and he let out a loud scream, "GET THE ******** AWAY FROM HER!" His eyes still glossed over from his dream, he was still dreaming, but his body was clearly reacting. The dream was picking up, big time.
Marcus was yelling at the man in charge of the train, who was freaking out over the stowaway and the woman's dead body that was in his possession. "W-why'd you kill her?" The nazi in control of the train asked wide eyed and frantically, trying to get the body away from Marcus. Without thinking he transformed his arm into the saber blade and slit the Nazi's throat before he was able to move Raizel's body.
His eyes were empty and his emotions were gone. He muttered under his breath, "Thats 43..." The killing of innocent souls in his rage and in protection of her body was beginning to get to him. He slowly stood dragging the Nazi's body to the open door and tossing him out. The train was on its way to Western France to get Germans out of Europe that couldn't fight. The twilit sky glowed over the the fields of Eastern France resembled the sunsets he and Raizel had watched not so long ago. ...but in ATTACK!!

Jeanne Toppan The doctor is: IN~!
"M-MARCUS!" Nora yelled as Toppan calmly got up from her seat and walked over to the cabinets which contained several of multicolored bottles all labeled according to Toppan's medical use.
"Don't fret, deaaarrrrr..." she smiled, her tone soft and glossy as it sent a chill up Nora's spine, "I know juuuuuuuuuust the medicine for this one here... Yes I do."
As she searched through them, she had got out a clean, disposable syringe from the drawer and began searching through the bottles in the cabinet,
"Let's see... Number 53... Number 24... Number 7..."
"NURSE!"
"Ahaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Number 2, morphine sulfate, 500mgs. Got it," said Toppan as she shook the bottle and poked the needle through the cap, drawing forth a generous amount of liquid MSO4, "I'd back away from him if I were you, dear. This could get ugly."
Something in her voice didn't sound like 'Jolly Jeanne' anymore; it sounded cold, dead, and distant. Like that of a serial killer getting ready to kill her own children.
Nora swore she saw angel wings on the back of her shadow as she walked over to the bed, drew out his wrist, and injected him with the morphine inside the syringe. Her wavelength extending as it wrapped around his body in a blue flash and held him tight like a rope made out of wires and steel.
She had to restrain the patient first. Then finish the injection needed to relax his post-tramatic stress. That was the necessary proceedure for the lost soul in need of console and comfort. And she was just the right saint to fill in for the job.
That's why Death hired her.
"Patient shows signs of rejection in MSO4, opioid MS-Contin. I'll have to give him a higher dose..."
"NO!" Nora cried, pushing her away as Toppan stared down at her in bewilderment, "Anymore and he'll have Asphyxia."
"Morphine is a controlled release of Morphine Sulfate. It's enough to take out a winded rhinoceros. A repeated dose, however, will show signs of constipation, addiction, tolerance, and withdrawal. My records show me that he doesn't have any chronic or acute disorders of Hepatitis C, so he should suffer a minor case of encephalialgia."
"WHAT?!"
"A headache. Relax. It'll be like getting over a cold. He should be fine."
"YOU'RE MAKING IT WORSE!"
"On the countrary, I'm making it better; morphine deals with post-tramatic stress often seen in WWII veterans. Those who have seen Death and simply fear passing into the next door..."
A smile covered Toppan's face as she spoke very softly now, "A door that is in between where we are here, and where he is now..."
Her hand, cold and smooth, rubbed up against his cheek as she caressed his face and smile, "He's dancing between the border now... Best to leave him where he is... He'll get out."
She then released the binds she had on him from her wavelength and smiled as she threw the syringe away with a trash can labeled 'BIOHAZARD'.
"I did."

MARCUS FAUST Strength is not in defense... Marcus's body relaxed and laid back down, but his glossy eyes were still staring at the ceiling, tears welling up. "Raizel... Raizel... Raizel..." He chanted allowing the needle to be fully emptied into his wrist. The train skidded to a halt, and Raizel's body was beginning to gain rigor from the death. It was only a short time before she started decaying, he would have to bury her soon. He quickly grabbed her and ran to the large tree he could see in the distance, the area was beautiful... She would like it... He laid her down in front of the tree and broke a large stick from its branches and began digging her grave. The stick was able to dig through the dirt easily, only giving him trouble when he hit the couple inches of clay. It was raining now... Even the sky was sad, but the rain was making the clay thinner, allowing him to work it out of his way. He was nearly two feet deep, a few more feet would be satisfactory, he wasn't going to leave her in a shallow grave. ...but in ATTACK!!

~Nora Levine~ "Cano tasay noni, cano nimono..."
'R-Raizel...? W-who's Raizel...?' thought Nora as she listened to Marcus call out that name over and over again in his sleep...
His eyes were still wide, perhaps in horror over the fact that whatever he must've faced was simply too gruesome for her to comprehend what he was feeling.
She then sat down next to him, and held his hand as she lowered her head and rested it against his arm, crying as he called out to whoever it was he must've lost before he met her... She just wanted him to stop. It was hurting her too. Not only did it scare her, but it pained her to see him this way...
"This chap was sicker than I thought he was..." said Toppan as she took off her gloves, "... Excellent," smiled Toppan as she walked over to her desk, "I think I'm beginning to like this partner of yours."
Nora did not bother answering back, but simply held on to his hand tighter as he dreamed and writhed in pain next to her.
'Wake up... Please, wake up, damnit... Wake up...'

MARCUS FAUST Strength is not in defense... Marcus stomped the bottom of the grave, flattening it. His head poked up, it was nearly dark now, he had to get a move on if he was going to make the flight to Las Vegas. He picked himself up out of the hole and removed his coat wrapping her body in it and began lowering her into the grave.
His eyes were gaining their color, "Raizel..." The dispensary was coming into view, and his hand was warm. He shifted his eyes and looked at the girl beside him, his eyes still blurry. He took his hand from hers and put a thumb to her cheek, "Raizel..." ...but in ATTACK!!
