Im gonna change the subject cause i raelly have to get this out..

I'm sick and tired of running across all these goddamn Rp's where people use Very well known characters as ******** pictures of there own characters! It's so bullshit and toatlly kills whatever sense of originality in your characters! I mean i saw an rp where people posted Ryoko, Chi, That teacher from DearS, i mean there all over the goddamn place gonk I wanna rip there crappy little unimaganitive heads off and throw it to the alu-puppies. *glare*

They could just google a similar, less popular character. Theres plenty of art of random girls or less popular anime titles. It just pisses me off to see people do that. sweatdrop it takes so much away from the Rp.

This is exactly why I scaour the pics for randomly obscure anime pics. XD
Often times I will stumble uplon some obscure Anime or Japanes Artist and everyoen will go nutz over and ask me if I drew it....I polightly tell them no and direct them to the site or tell them I foudn it amongst my collection. GOD I dotn even remember how big it is. XD

I once had this time when I would opnly use CG art from Hentai games. They really do have lovely artwork, and surpriseingly cute and verry volumputious girls, and verry nice cloths in the Bio pics. ^_^

Sometimes I will add glasses to the character int he pic because I ware glasses and dernit I want my characters to ware them too! XD

I have really gotten good at editing glasses into anime pics. Especialy CG Art.


Do you think its wrong of me to add the glasses?

how many people around here really get into RPing, really. I mean, I do it from time to time, but it's not really something I can get into most of the time.

I get into it mainly because I'm a writer IRL so role-playing is like writing a story with other people and their characters. It's easy for me to get into role-playing as it helps my literary skill improve.

As for the subject Aonice brings up, I am in agreement and I have harped on this many times. Yes, I use Dark Schneider from b*****d! as a reference picture for my character Loki. However I have my reasons: One you will not likely see b*****d! on Toonami(like you would Naruto, InuYasha or Full Metal Alchemist), Two, it's not that many people know about the series(To my knowledge I've only seen two users with DS sigs), and three, they both have many similarities so a lot of the mannerisms depicted make sense.

You wouldn't believe how many Sephiroth(FF VII), Alucard(Hellsing), Naruto/Kakashi/Sasuke(Naruto), or InuYahsa(of said series) clones I've seen and how annoying it is for someone like me who spent hours writing a whole character together to see someone just recycle a popular anime/manga character and not even do it properly!

I've gotten to the point now where I just ignore such clones unless they're actually trying to do it properly.

I roleplay off an on. I used to do it hardcore all the time & all but stuff came up offline plus it's not as fun as it used to be for some reason. I kinda halfass do it now throughout Gaia.

Loki- I hear ya about DS dude. My pre-Gaia identity used him for his image as well. Pretty much retired that character though my long-time friends still call me by his initials.
