"As long as I'm something to you." Edward said quietly. He had only wished that Kiara wasn't aware of how he had tortured him, as a human. Hell, she didn't even know that he had tried that move twice. His eyes shifted towards Ryu's dead charred self. So that was finally over, it came close to things being different. And even with Ryu dead it just leads to the new passage of a book, Chains' book. Though he hadn't even personally met the guy, he knew the game was still going. All of them were the players. Edward's eyes closed, his breathing slowed until he stopped it all together. They needed to get James out of the building but he just couldn't push himself to move. It hurt too much and then he wouldn't have Kiara holding him, even if she was enraged and upet about him, she was still there.
((Ha ha you guys just lost the game!))

((Hey Hope, can you delete James' cursed profile, I dont think it will be necessary any more. The rules say I cant do it my self so if you would please? And just what Game are you talking about? neutral ))
James remained unconscious as Xagetta came up to the room to find Edward in Kiara's arms, with a rather goofy smile he sighed in relief, happy that Edward was alright. "Well I guess I came at a bad time.." That's when he saw he remains, and had no doubt it was Ryu, though the body was burned beyond recognition, some how he knew this was Ryu. He came close and leaned over the body, which was just a single touch from becoming ash. "So, Ryu payed the ultimate price for his vengeance, sad realy. Too bad, now he'll never know that you actually saved his life." He stopped at that, before turning to both Kiara and Edward. "Akino had threatened, even planed to kill Ryu, before you stepped in. Like Seth, Akino was lured in by Chains and was marked with the seal of the 3 gods, and was going to kill Ryu to gain power from it. By killing Akino, you spared Ryu his life. If your wondering how I know all this, you can thank Chains. He showed us every thing, about him and you. Ill tell you the rest later."
That's when he spied James on the floor, now fully transformed, and immediately he figured what happened. "Well that explains the howling I heard, poor kid. Judging by the condition your in Edward, I take it this kid got bit by Ryu while trying to save you right?" There was no hostility, just curiosity. "Well either way, he cant stay here, we need to get him some where safe for when he wakes up." With out another word, he went over and heaved James onto his back, thank goodness for his demon strength. "Kiara, can you help Edward to his feet, from the look of it I think he needs to get some blood in his system." He stood there for a second, waiting for them to respond.

It's just a thought, if you think about 'the game' stressed (no one knows what the game stressed is) then you lose. And you don't want to lose. Edward half-turned to Xagetta, with the most confused sick exhausted expression. He had no idea what he was talking about and right now he could care less. His words were slurred and blurred from recognition and Edward muttered, "Xagetta...shut the ******** up..." After that was barely out his eye fell heavily and he leaned into Kiara losing consciousness.

((Ok I get that it was a joke and a rather funny one, but again how can I lose what I do not know? For instance, if I do know know about it then I can not think about it, and there for I can not lose. ((Fork you! I just won the game!!!--dammit...now I lost it!! FECK!!! And Xagetta you lost it too. Because by typing it, you thought it, even if you don't comprehend. mrgreen ))
"Okay." Kiara said, rubbing her hand up and down Edward's back, soothing. Her eyes followed Xagetta as he showed up. "Xagetta. Is Envi okay?" Kiara whispered. She was about to ask about Vlad and everybody else but she knew that Sarah wasn't. "Careful." She muttered as Xagetta picked James up, then she felt Edward go limp against her. Her eyes widened and she clenched onto him tighter. "Edward..." She almost panicked, but knew he was okay. She glanced at Xagetta not sure if to even move Edward.

((What ever, I give up any way, I have no idea what your talking about so there for I do not care. rolleyes ))
Xagetta made sure he was gentle when handling James, but his main concern was Edward, even though both of them would be alright more or less. "Shes fine, if a little shaken up, as is every one else but right now we have to worry about these 2. He'll be fine, dont worry, Edward is strong and so is this kid. But we need to get them somewhere to recover, and with Edward's condition I would make that a rush job." This being his way of telling her to hurry, he was pretty sure they hadn't seen the last of Chains, and if what he feared was true that's not all that laid a head of them.

Kiara nodded shortly tightening her embrace around Edward. She wasn't sure what to say about the others. This wans't something anyone should have to face. "Will he be okay?" She nodded towards James who was in Xagetta's arms. It seemed as if he had just turned, so he should be. Kiara herself went through that. But she wasn't sure if what happened with James was more extensive. She looked down and buried her face into Edward before bracing herself and lifting. She lifted him so his legs were dangling and she had a good hold around him. Luckily he was light to carry considering her strength. She looked at Xagetta,waiting for what was next. Kiara didn't have much that could be said at this point.

((You guys are friggin nuts, and coming from an oddball like me, that's saying something. xp Any ways, after a fight like that, you would be worn through the bone too. Hell I'm surprised that he fought as long as he did, but that's Edward for you.))
Xagetta looked at the newly turned wolf, that now laid over his shoulder, he had payed an awful price for Edward. One that he hoped Edward him self would come to appreciate. "Thanks to the Change, all his wounds are healed, but his battle for his sanity if not his humanity has only begun. The night will be long, but in the morning, he should be normal again. Till the next full moon that is. You of all people should know what its like for a new born wolf, when that time comes, we must prepare him for life as a Lycan. Come on, we head for the caves, there at least there they should be alright. Xagetta walked over to the window, and just like Chains, he leaped outside towards the others.

"Yeah." Kiara agreed, though she was a bit lost. She had no idea because she was normal with the moon and such. She propped Edward up more to have a better grip on him and followed Xagetta to the window. She looked down, not a bad drop, but there was no way she was landing on her own two feet, especially with Edward. And she didn't need him to get hurt worse. She turned for the steps, she would meet Xagetta at the bottom.
