But please explain why Philadelphia would take Percy Harvin over Heyward-Bey or Nicks. Much less please take into account that Philadelphia likes to move around on draft day. When was the last time Philadelphia did not move on the first day? I cannot remember. As for NY, they may actually be desperate enough now to trade a few things away to move up to get a WR who can replace Plaxico. Unfortunately there are not going to be any WR who comes close to that. Only TE's.

your right, taking heyward bey makes more sense, philly already has their speed guy in jackson, now they need a big possesion reciver, i did not include predicted trades, even though there is always trades in the first round, their are a lot of recivers that will be avalable when the giants pick, but it wouldent suprise me if they moved up for crabtree

This damn Plaxico Burress situation now means that the Giants will most likely commit to a WR with their first round pick. By selection, trade up, or trade for a current player. It really screwed us over. I wanted a LB in the first round.
...Anyways, I'll make my mock draft this week.

I dont think he will even make it past 15. I think what will happen anyways is that Philly will get a WR or TE before anything else save for the RB. Also, I do not believe in a heartbeat that Pettigrew will be available as late as you say he will be.

Also, I do not believe in a heartbeat that Pettigrew will be available as late as you say he will be. I think that Oher will fall that far, because there isn't as much of a need for OL in the first round, as we've seen in previous years. Teams have bigger holes to fill currently. I also don't think that the Eagles will get a WR or TE in the first round. Although they don't have playmakers behind Jackson, Philly does have some depth at WR, and will want players to step up. They also look like they trust Celek to become the starting TE. And a lot of teams could use Pettigrew, but I see him falling for some reason. He could also possibly go to the Falcons.

heres my in-depth mock draft 2.0 i did yesterday
1 Detroit Lions-Jason Smith OT Baylor alot of people have them taking stafford or Monroe, I dont think they will take stafford because Cullpepper can get them through the season, and the tremendous depth at QB next year http://www.nfl.com/draft/2009/profiles/jason-smith?id=71471
2 St. Louis Rams-Aaron Curry OLB/DE Wake Forest Steve Spagnolo wants to reproduce what he had in NY, why not start with the best player in the draft. Curry could play OLB or be a potential replacment to Leonard Little, and their will be plenty of OTs avalible when the rams pick in round 2 http://www.nfl.com/draft/2009/profiles/aaron-curry?id=79842
3 Kansas City Chiefs-Eugene Monroe OT Virginia Eugene and Branden Albert made up the best left side of an OL in the country last year, and why not repeat or book-end these guys, also Brian Waters is nearing the end of his carrer, so why not nove albert to guard and eugene at tackle like they did in college http://www.nfl.com/draft/2009/profiles/eugene-monroe?id=71401
4 Seattle Seahawks-Matthew Stafford QB Georgia Matt hasselbeck's play has been very dismal and he is also getting up there in age, so draft Stafford and let him learn under hasselbeck for a year then unleash him on the NFC West, they will not draft a DT due to the trade for cory redding. http://www.nfl.com/draft/2009/profiles/matthew-stafford?id=79860
5 Cleveland Browns-Brian Orakpo The Browns are in dire need of some pressure and who better than Brian Orakpo to apply it, they relesed Willie Mcginest, so Orakpo can not just replace him but be an improvment. http://www.nfl.com/draft/2009/profiles/brian-orakpo?id=71423
6 Cincinnati Bengals-Andre Smith OT Alabama Carson would kick marvins a** if they did not make this pick, Carson is desperate for protection, some people say crabtree, but they still have chad and the got lavernius coles, enough for carson to work with if he has some time, which is why they need a tackle. http://www.nfl.com/draft/2009/profiles/andre-smith?id=71465
wahmbulance SUPRISE PICK wahmbulance 7 Oakland Raiders-Darrius Heyward-Bey WR Maryland Darrius ran the fastest 40 in the combine with a 4.3 flat, Heyward-Bey has the Speed and size that Al Davis Drools over. http://www.nfl.com/draft/2009/profiles/darrius-heyward-bey?id=80427
8 Jacksonville Jaguars-Michael Crabtree WR Texas Tech How can you pass this up, the jaguars released Porter, Williams and Jones at WR and the best WR in the draft fall in their laps http://www.nfl.com/draft/2009/profiles/michael-crabtree?id=71269
9 Green Bay Packers-Malcolm Jenkins CB Ohio State Woodson and Al Harris are both in there 30's, they need a new CB to fill the gap especially going against Cutler twice a year http://www.nfl.com/draft/2009/profiles/malcolm-jenkins?id=79848
10 San Fransisco 49ers-Mark Sanchez QB USC Lets face it, shaun hill is not the QB of the future, Sanchez is from California, and i have a hunch that he can thrive with vernon davis. Keep him on the bench for a year and let him loose on the west (Deja Vu from #4) http://www.nfl.com/draft/2009/profiles/mark-sanchez?id=79858
11 Buffalo Bills-Aaron Maybin DE/LB Penn State The Bills have no pass rush, especcially with schobel having durability issues, Maybin is can be a force at DE or LB http://www.nfl.com/draft/2009/profiles/aaron-maybin?id=80433
12 Denver Broncos-B.J. Raji DT/NT Boston College The big man only falls due to his failed drug test, but he owns that inside force the broncos have been craving for years, they could trade up tp get Sanchez or trade down to get freeman, but it seems that McDaniels likes orton alot, but they may draft a QB in Later Rounds http://www.nfl.com/draft/2009/profiles/b.j.-raji?id=79631
13 Washington Redskins-Everette Brown DE Florida State Loss of Jason Taylor, Carter is old, and griffen is old, they need to introduce some youth to the D-Line also to complement Haynesworth NFC East Watch Out http://www.nfl.com/draft/2009/profiles/everette-brown?id=71227
14 New Orleans Saints-Brian Cushing OLB USC He is an excellent Complement to Vilma and Peyton has fallen in love with USC defenders after Sedric Ellis last Year, with the additions of Sharper and Greer the saints Defense has become a force to be reckon with. http://www.nfl.com/draft/2009/profiles/brian-cushing?id=80421
15 Houston Texans-Chris Wells RB Ohio State Steve Slaton Played Great last Season, but he had no one to give him a break, Wells is a power Runner who ran a 4.4 at his pro day. a 235 lbs man running a 4.4, now thats scary, the texans adressed their need at DE by signing Antonio Smith. http://www.nfl.com/draft/2009/profiles/beanie-wells?id=79661
16 San Diego Chargers-Rey Maualuga ILB USC This Propels the Chargers Defense to unimaginable heights, Ron Rivera will sculpt this guy in to the next Ray Lewis, added to Merriman and Phillips, that is a bad-a** LB core http://www.nfl.com/draft/2009/profiles/rey-maualuga?id=79852
thats the first half of my mock draft, part 2 coming soon

Well with the Buccaneers signing Byron Leftwich, I'll probably have to change my mock draft. I think that Josh Freeman will now probably drop into the second round.
...Also, it seems like the Giants might be close to a trade for Braylon Edwards.

I'll post my mock draft in a little bit. Anywho, I'm a Dallas and San Francisco fan and of course, I know who the Cowboys are gonna draft in the first round (oh wait they dont have one, they traded it for a BUST), but I'm confused about San Francisco. On one hand, they don't have a real pro bowl quarterback or anything, but do they have an wide recievers? It's Isaac Bruce's last year probably, and then who do they throw it to? Vernon Davis? I say they draft a WR with that 10th overall pick. In the mean time, I think Mark Sanchez is going to be waayyyy up high. He's not going to be a Detroit Lion, but I think he could very well be a Cleveland Brown or even a St. Louis Ram. Marc Bulger didn't put up so good stats last year and he's aging. In Cleveland, it seems like the two quarterbacks up for contention aren't franchise quarterbacks. Although St. Louis does need an OT to replace Orlando Pace, they need a quarterback worth protecting. I say the 49ers pick up Crabtree if he's still around or Darrius Heyward-Bey.
