He saw the blood, but it did not tempt him, such was Sergei's influence. When an ancient has enough will power he changes the very instincts of those he commands. He simply looked at her and smiled, she was a farm animal, he could use that against his enemies. But in all honesty he needed another strong mind, one that could talk some sense into his fool hearty uncle.
"I want you to be a tactician and a soldier to lead the men into battle. Sergei's influence is strong, none of the vampires here hunger for your blood, you are no different from any other human to them. But join us, and you will be our sister, and our master's influence shall make you stronger."Gregor smirked and walked over to her. He put his hand over where she cut her self and the wound healed, he didn't even drink a drop of her blood.

eyes narrowed she jerked her arm from his hand, raiseing her chin and replying flipently. " well, we cant all be parasites." she found it amuseing she could sound so bord, when really she was seething inside. just another human.. she hated that the scientists made her human, gave her no choice or thought.. tossing her hair over her shoulder she smiled chillingly at him. " good thing then.. that my blood doesnt work on you. i wouldnt want it to be too easy a fight." and it would be, if he insisted on calling her less than himself. as she saw it, he was amuseing and irritateing at the same time.

Gregor laughed, as a count he could ruin her body in minutes, how interesting a specimen this was. He could tell however, that she should not be called human, but then what would he call her. Pehaps Aran, would suffice.
"Good, then it is a simple matter of taking this seal. Proving yourself to be more then human shouldn't be hard. However I will never refer to you as such again, I think Aran will do."He smiled and held out the Laverious emblem, once taken she would instantly learn the influence of Sergei, and his teachings. She would then become a sister in the clan.

of all the luck.. i get stuck with the one creature i cant piss off. she muttered to herself, crossing her arms and watching him for a moment. if she could make him mad.. then she could have had a reason for ignoreing his offer.. its a stretch after all.. finaly she sighed, straitening and noding to the emblem. " that wont change me, how i think or act..?" if so she wasnt touching it.. there were enough dreamers of world peace around. still.. the idea that she would have a purpose.. something to do with herself.. it was tempting to take what he offered.

Gregor laughed, he had cornered her, now for the proverbial kill.
"No Aran, if anything it shall make you stronger. You will be no different in personality then you are now, however you will know of the Latverious clan, and as a soldier of our master, there are some things that are looked down upon, although I do see fit to bend the rules upon occasion."This was true, for the most part, she would not change, although the things she may learn might change her mind. The struggle of life, and the deaths of thousands, and why Sergei strives to keep the peace. Too much death only fuels agony.

"and let me gues, you and i would just be best of friends and we would solve world hunger too!" she rolled her eyes, takeing the emblem carfuly and looking at it. the effect took hold of her imdiately, though she fought to hide any discomfert she felt from showing. at most her skin paled, and the corner of her lips twitched. keeping a calm, soothing voice she murmered. " im not fooled by pretty words, but i do know when im beat. for now at least.. you win the arguement." leaning against the wall she let her eyes closed, not in the least bit threatened by Gregor. he wouldnt have waisted his breath talking to her if he was just going to kill her. vampires were many things, but never did they waist time unless they wanted something. she opened her eyes a bit and looked at the emblem in her hand. for now, it suited Gregor to keep her alive. so at least for a bit, she didnt have to watch her step. later though.. only time would tell.

Gregor seemed to be a scientist observing a lab rat. He had never seen a human react to the seal, how interesting it was. She had turned pale, and tried to resist the emotions and power.
"No, I think we will just kill people mostly, however those pretty words as you say are much more powerful then you think."Gregor smirked and pulled out a glass, he poured himself blood wine, although he was unsure what to offer her, he simply drank and left it there for her to pour if she wished.

winceing she looked away, her hand going to her stomic as a bad memory took her. looking at Gregor she asked almost innocently, not realizeing that she had let her gaurd down. " how do you stand that..? the last time i ate it made me sick.. and havent tried eating sense." she had grown used to the pain in her stomic, the alternative of her being sick was unacceptable. it had been nearly a year sense she ate last, and she remembered the pain of being sick clearly. without thought she backed a step away from the wine goblet, pressing her spine against the wall and watching the object warrily.

Gregor downed the glass and gawked at her. He was deeply confused however he didn't fully care.
"Well, this is actually drinking, but I guess it could be seen as eating, although there is not so much blood in this as there is wine. We have actual food as well, it isn't like Vampires only drink blood, it isn't necessary for survival but it does ease the empty feeling in one's stomach."She was an odd one for certain, she had the mentality of a vampire with the body and taste of a human.

"i dont eat." she said simply, ignoreing his weird look. turning away from him she studied the room, all the while keeping a hand no her gun. it was for comfert, instead of safty. " i know about your uncle, and he is a peace keeper. why do you want me, a fighter, when surely your uncle wants you to stay on the side lines?" she was going to figure this out, if she learned anything.. it was never leave holes in an explanation.

Gregor smirked, she had no idea of what a peace keeper was in their terms.
"My dear, as a tactician my job is to stay on the side lines unless I am called to battle. As for keeping the peace, what we mean is, we kill who is disrupting the peace. Currently our sights are set on the new Red Cross, their hunters are proving far worse then the Lycans who have calmed down as of late. If the hunters go too far, we will declare all out war and attempt to draw a treaty with Dr. Avarice, the Lycan leader. But if the Lycans prove to us to be troublesome then we shall do the opposite. Right now it is a waiting game, but I may have missions for you that my uncle would deem, brash."Gregor smiled and tapped his claw-like fingers on his desk in sinister pleasure.

jerking her chin in a tight nod she crossed her arms, a sinister grin turning up the corners of her lips. " i think i like this new outlook on peace keepers." amused, she leaned her hip against his desk and shruged indifferently. " being the creature i am, i dont fallow unless i want to." turning to the door she lifted a hand, running a finger along the wood thoughtfuly. " ill fallow you, ive decided you can handle that. but dont ask me to fallow this uncle of yours until he proves himself to me first." she wasnt a fool.. she knew herself, what the scientists made her to be. the moment she was given word to kill she wouldnt hold back, and only someone as strong as or stronger than her would be able to get her under control again.

Gregor laughed at the prospect of Sergei having to prove himself. The man he had admired for his brutal strength, the man who killed thousands himself on the battle field. To demote himself to proving his skill to even Gregor was laughable.
"Well, if you want a short life, go on in, attack him yourself. The man has killed more men then the black plague. It isn't like anyone can kill there way into being an ancient. However I suspect he will convince you to follow him another way, besides battle. If you feel the urge, go through the portal to Haven in the library, it will take you to our main base, Castle Latverious itself."Gregor wondered if she would do this, he wouldn't kill her, but if she came after him Sergei would certainly damage her.

she waved his answer aside, saying over her shoulder. " you misunderstand what i said. i said I didnt wish to fallow him until im sure about him. i dont care how strong he is, and i know he would kill me easily. im but two years in this world, i will need strong skill before fighting any one anceint being." without thought she started to play with her hair over her shoulder, her fingers curling the snow white strands as she looked at a book on the shelf. " what i did say, is that i agree to fallowing your rules. as i see it, im under your comand until you decide otherwise."

Gregor nodded and sighed, he wondered if she could be broken into civilization. Gregor handed her a list of names and smirked.
"Kill these men, then report back. Two are Lycans, one is a Vampire, and four are humans. I trust you can handle this."Gregor yawned, hopefully she would prove useful.
