I've got more for you! Now, it is commonly assumed by Catholics and Christians en masse that god is omniscient, omnipotent, and any other omni word mean all something or other. BUT, in the very first chapter of the Bible,(that would be Genesis)....(I think) that Adam and Eve ate from the fruit of the tree of Knowledge, that they knew they were naked and that God Himself could not find them in the Garden of Eden when he called to them. Taking into account that many Catholics and Christians take the Bible as law and believe that God is omniscient, there are loopholes in their theory from chapter one!

That's all I got for now. Think about it though. When I get more, I will post it.

aye, but they call this human capacity free will, which in my belief is more powerful than God himself. because we are given the capacity to live the way we want to without consequences from a higher power excluding humanity. Now, rule out humanity and live the way you want many would be pissed because you are asserting your power over their already and theoretical power. Good thoughts I say, this is only but another reason why religion is doomed to diminish and fail over time so says Friedrick Nietzsche...

Now, I'm not saying he should have controlled them, but he should have known that it was going on. Also, if he's omniscient, why couldn't he find them when they knew they were naked? Existence doesn't give a damn to let you float off of the edge of god's radar just cause you're naked. That would mean that if their is a god, he doesn't hear a lot of prayers from mothers who just gave birth. That naked little baby who's mother is sending up prayers for it, would be off the edge of the map. It doesn't make sense.

Kurai lemme interest you in a read that a man who thought very much like us wrote, the name is Thus Spoke Zarathustra. It is the chronicals of a prophet who spent 10 years on top of a mountain living as a hermit. It was supposed that he went up there to hopefully be closer to God and when he came down he decided upon an ultimate truth ~ God is Dead He travels the lands speaking of the "superman" whose self-mastery frees him from the common prejudices and assumptions of the day. Do not accept he counsels, what almost 2000 years of history have taught you to call evil.

This is a book by Friedrich Nietzsche, a despiser of public mass movements both political and religious, did not ask his readers for blind faith and obedience, but rather for critical reflection, courage, and independence.

They have a newer version from B&N that is much easier to read than the non-translated version but I have just started reading and I already love it and I'm only on the 9th page! -- Just thought you might like a new read xp

Why thanks, I'll look into it. Thanks very much for the referal. This will probably sound horrible, it horrifies everyone else I tell, but I'm a satanist. Look up the interview of the High Priest on Wikimedia. It explains, pretty much, what I'm all about. So, yeah, that's my deep dark secret. I'll definitely look up that book. Sounds good.

To say that I'm Theistic would be to go against the basic principle of Satanism, denying the that you are your own god. I was raised by christian parents, so things like "thank god" slip through occasionally. But I worship no god but myself, and have been labeled evil by so many who simply don't like the fact that I operate on a system of beliefs different from theirs. I always had this idea that greed and envy are nothing but the driving forces of ambition. I thought this long before I read about Lavey and read his book. I thought," Wow, here's a guy who's got my whole set of idea's pretty much already written down. This is someone who I can read and agree with, someone who's morals and operating ways in society are like my own." It was awesome.
