What was offered to you was probably 5meo-DMT, which isnt as severe, but again something that wouldn't be a good idea at all to do if you have no experience with Psychs.
And as for weed facts, it's worse than cigarettes for tar content, reduces lung capacity, and makes you slow if you do it too much. The only healthy way to get it into your system is to eat it, or vaporize it, because neither actually combusts it, so theres no smoke or tar crap going into your lungs.
