"How did I end up with you again?" Ciara asked him, finding that thought once again rather odd. She was whore and he was well... innocent. That match made far from any sort of sense, and it even irritated her a bit. Would she actually have to be a good girl?

Van shrugged, "I'm just lucky I guess," That question always made no sense to him either but hey it really didn't matter to Van how the two of them had gotten together so long as they were together.

"Lucky?" Ciara asked him. "Um.. are you forgetting that if you hadn't met me then you would've been able to go along with whatever your life was before this? You wouldn't have had all these evil witches and whatever after you!"

"I don't get your logic." Ciara said looking at him with that How-could-you-think-such-a-think look on her face. "Oh well... I guess you already made up your mind." She then added, smiling once more. However, behind her smile she was still crying on the inside, which could be easily seen.

"Hey what can I say, I'm stubborn." Van smiled a bit. It was killing him that he couldn't make Ciara feel beter. He hated seeing her like this and the worst part was that she had every reason to be upset.

"I think I'm a bit more stubborn than you are, love." Ciara replied to him, poking him as she did so. The smile was still spread across her lips and now the sadness in her eyes wasn't quite so apparent, but still there nonetheless.
However, she quickly shattered that moment of happiness herself as she averted her thoughts to what she considered 'more important things' "Now." She announced, turning and walking a bit away from him with her arms crossed. "What do you suppose we do to find out more about what is going to happen?"

Van sighed. He had no idea where to start or even what was going on. The only thing that he really knew was a short paragraph that he had once read in his father's library and that wasn't really all that specific. "I have no idea babe."

"There has to be something. The suspense is killing me!" Ciara announced, sighing in attempt to calm herself down afterwards. "Damn... maybe I should just go to bed and wake up when it's the time that she'll just take me away."

"That'll only make it happen sooner, and she seems to enjoy coming while your asleep just to taunt me." Van sat down on his bed and looked down at the ground. A slight headache had come into his head. It was more of an annoyance than a painful twinge but it still kept him from concentrating.

"Or..." Ciara began with a smirk, turning to look at him. "You could just sleep with me." She pointed out to him with a laugh afterwards. "But good little Van wouldn't do such things." She told him teasingly, pinching his cheeks just as one would do to a young child.
