She looked up at Edward and Kiara, "You seem to be doing better too." She said to Edward, "Last time I saw you. You were soaked in blood and holy water." Ghostflower jumped from her shoulder and then looked at Vlad. Ghostflower cocked her head to the side.

"Yea well I figured that little mark is cursed too. Everytime I'm around the god damn demon its pain increases." Edward glanced at the fox, "By the way I didnt thank you for helping Kiara. So thank you Alice." He looked over at Vlad then, "Thank you for keeping her safe while I was gone."

She glanced back at Edward. She was somewhat calmer now but she looked concerned. "Will the pain ever go away?" She asked him.

Edward shook his head, "No it won't. But no biggie." he said with a shrug. "how are you feeling?"

"Now see that is something I would consider a biggie. I would gladdly take you pain for you." Kiara heard a small critter walking through the cave, possibly a rat. It made her jump, he eyes flashing around to see what it was, flowing with the same afraid look again. "Me? I'm fine. Well I am very weak. But I have no permanant damage so....that is no biggie" She said nodding while still searching around her. SHe flinched back as if waiting for somethig to hit her. Then sighed.

Vlad looked at Kiara confused. "Man that sucks." He said to Edward. He could almost feel his pain....but not anywhere close. "Are you sure you are ok?" He asked Kiara. She seemed off, but he wasn't good at judging that so he glanced to Alice and Edward to see if they noticed.

"Kiara, it's just a rat." She said noticing her nervousness suddenly. Ghostflower had picked up the sound and she trotted off to go find it.

Edward put his arm around her shoulder. "Did you not get a chance to sleep while I wasnt here?"

"I know, I know. It smelled interesting that is all." She lied. She didn't want to bother anyone with her problems. She didn't understand what was happening to her. "Not really....I couldn't sleep....I pretended to be asleep so Vlad would leave me go and I could come help. When he did I ran into the wall, then I tried to go asleep, but I couldn't cause I was sca---not tired."

"Yeah I can't believe I fell for that. I thought you were asleep, cause you thoughts were full of stuff that was like a dream. Mostly bad dreams too. Except for a one or two. One of those two was rather disturbing." Vlad added with a serious face. He was worried.

Ghostflower trotted back and instead of coming to Alice she walked to Vlad. She dropped the dead rat onto his boots, and she wagged her tail. "Edward didn't even have to fight." Alice said softly, she grinned at Ghostflower. "So there wasnt any reason to try and run off." She added

"I told you I tried to sleep, really I did." She sighed. "I just couldn't. My body must of caught up in sleep while I was in hell." She snapped though you could tell she needed sleep.
