The troubled "child" merely stood there for a moment as the seemingly frustrated Ayana yanked the sweet candy out of her mouth only to slide it between her own lips. The nerve! How dare she do such a thing? Who did she think she was?! "How rude!" Loli yelled allowed, watching the girl leave. "I don't like you very much Ms. I'm-going-to-steal-your-candy."

Mikashi nodded at her words, continuing his book.

Faris sneezed and quickly rubbed his nose. He had heard that sneezing means someone was talking about you. There were several people who could have been talking about him and he hoped against all hope that it was not something bad. Faris sneezed again, and found himself a seat. Faris yawned and closed his eyes. The library was so quiet he could probably catch up on some sleep while he was here.

Faris continued to sleep in the chair. He was bent in an odd way as his legs were a little on the long side. He moved suddenly swinging his legs over the arm of the chair while using the other one as a neck rest. It was a little cramped and he opened his eyes. He decided that he would have much rather have a bed than a chair. He tried hard not to yawn and the muscles in his face stretched with the effort.

Faris closed his eyes again before he allowed himself to yawn. Then he scratched his side. It wasn't a very gentlemanly thing to do but he didn't really care. He stopped, and remembered the wound that Kira had given him before. "I had almost forgotten," he said sleepily to himself. "That Kira is really here after all."

Faris stretched his arms and legs, his muscles complaining slightly. "Maybe I really should invest in getting a dorm room," Faris sighed. Faris slid out of the chair holding back another yawn. He stretched again while holding onto his slightly aching side. He stopped a moment catching a girl walking away. It seemed she had wanted to say something, but probably had not wanted to wake him up. He smiled slightly, "She's very kind," he said. "I wonder if she's anything like you Elixer."

Faris held his aching heart. Then he noticed the computers sitting nearby. Faris went over to one, and tapped against the glass on the screen. He looked it over with his black eyes. "I wonder what this is," he said aloud. "It's very odd, isn't it? Nothing like this exists back home." He reached out and touched the mouse, jumping slightly when the screen turned from black to a whirl of colors. "Y-Yes," he stammared. "Very curious . . . maybe I should stick to books and stay away from these."

Faris however could not help himself and pressed one of the keys on the board sitting at the base of the computer. It blared to life, blasting something loud and terrible. He would not call it music although he thought that's what it was trying to create. Faris covered his ears. It seemed that someone had forgotten to turn the volume down after they had finished. Not only had Faris gone deaf but he had no way of stopping the machine.

Faris slowly uncovered his ears. They felt like they were bleeding but he smiled and nodded. "Yes . . . thank you very much for that daring rescue. I really don't know how to work these things," then he signalled towards the computer again. "I think I'll stick with pen and paper for a while longer before I dare to try this again."

Faris smiled in his usual weak way. He was feeling a little better since he had gotten here, and he quickly pulled his hand away from his heart when he noticed he was holding it. "I thank you with all my heart," he said. "I'm rather useless aren't I?" Faris opened his sad eyes and looked this girl over quickly. She looked like a good person to him so he smiled a little stronger.

"Oh, I'm sorry!" he exclaimed. It wasn't much of an exclaimation mind you. His voice only rose to a normal speaking tone before it dropped again. He bowed at the girl. "I have gotten ahead of myself a little. My name is Faris and it's a pleasure to meet you miss . . .?"

Faris smiled, "Uni is a parculiar name. Although it might just be from where I'm from. I just have not heard a name like that before." Faris laughed a little. "Well I suppose I have my worth sometimes. I keep my friends and family out of most trouble." Faris rubbed the back of his neck and blushed a little. "Even then it is hard to keep them from arguing so much."
