Throngar crossed his arms, an eyebrow raised. "Good point," he replied wryly. "You weren't exactly much in evidence during the fight, were you?" He nudged her gently... well, gently for a dwarf.

Throngar gave her a somewhat suspicious glance. "I wasn't born yesterday, you know," he told her sagely. "Come on. What's on your mind? You can talk to me, you know. I'm not just a loud, smelly dwarf." He rolled his eyes. "Blame my brother for any of that. You've got to be rough just to keep a handle on him. Ebera's teeth, growing up with the guy, I tell you..." He caught himself. "Well, anyway. You get the point. I do have an empathetic side too."

Throngar continued to look at her sceptically, then sighed. "Well, fine," he told her. "Just speak to someone about it, for Aether's sake, even if it's just that two-faced b*****d on your head."
"I'll have you know I actually have no faces whatsoever," Alcharius sniffed, speaking up for the first time in the conversation.

"Well excuse me for looking out for a travelling companion," Throngar snorted. "I just think that since we're working together for the foreseeable future we should look out for one another too. Got a problem with that?" He raised an eyebrow.

"You know what?" Jinx grabbed Alcharius by his brim and pulled him down on her head, "Why don't you leave him where he's happy? It's not like he's going anywhere." Jinx let her eyes wonder for a second and she spotted Bryce and sighed heavily.
