Amberpelt dashed up to Shadowsky, eyes wide with surprise. "Autumnkit!" she yowled, immediately covering the kits head with swift strokes from her tongue. She looked up at Shadowsky, respect showing in her green eyes for the black tom. "What can I do to repay you..." she sighed out.

Talonstride and Lotusleaf both gaze at their leader and shakes their heads.
"Nothing." the deputy mewed dismissivly. "Amberpelt already said it before she left."
Talonstride nods in agreement. Swanfeather blinks open her eyes sleepily and looks around the nursury.
"What's going on? I heard something abuot Autumnkit I think." she mews to her kits, stretching.

Amberpelt padded back into the nursery, Autumnkit dangling from her scruff in Amberpelt's mouth. "Sorry if my yowling disturbed you," she murmured to the queen, placing Autumnkit down next to Fernkit. "Autumnkit snuck away and caught a mouse." She fixed her kit with a hard stare. Fernkit looked at her sister with wide eyes.

Showerstar blinked. He stared at them for a moment longer. Then glanced off in a different direction quickly.
Thistlekit flickered her ears. She watched Fernkit and Autumnkit carefully. At least I didn't go sneaking off. She thought.
Riverkit flatten his ears, his lips twitching. He turned his back on Fernkit and Autumnkit. They were so loud, annoying, and obnoxious. His face was sour as his water-like eyes stared at nothing.
Willowsong aroused from sleep as well, curling Mudkit in closer to her.
Duskfeather padded up with Nightfrost over to Talonstride, Lotusleaf, and Showerstar. They were soon joined by Stonetiger and Dustpaw.

Fernkit curled up closer to her mother, while Autumnkit pounced on Amberpelt's tail. Turning, Amberpelt flicked her tail from Autumnkit's tiny paws. "Go to sleep," she murmured to her kit. Turning her gaze to Swanfeather, she blinked. "I should talk to Showerstar soon about their apprenticeship," she said, nudging both kits farther into the curve of her belly.

Petalfrost sighed she had nothing to do except lay around camp and eat fresh-kill. When she spotted Showerstar she saw her opportunity to help out. Padding quietly up to him she asked,"Hey Showerstar, ummm I can do extra patrols if you like, seeing as I have nothing else to do. "

Autumnkit and Fernkit looked up at Amberpelt expectantly. Emberkit and Foxkit nodded happily, fondness for the older she-kits shining in their bright blue eyes. "Don't forget to save a spot in the apprentice's den for us!" Emberkit squeaked, pouncing on his mother, Orangenight's swishing tail. "Yeah!" Foxkit agreed with his brother, hopping onto his brother's back. "Alright, alright!" Orangenight admonished, yanking her tail out from underneath her kits. "It's time for bed," Amberpelt said, nudging Fernkit and Autumnkit closer to her.

Hey guys...I'm planning on having the Gathering start this Friday, the 12th. I'm just telling ya ahead of time to we can get the appropriate posts made and all that jazz. The time we leave, though, is all up to you Arainar. Talonstride and Lotusleaf blink stupidly at Showerstar, wondering what exactly they had done to tick him and they flick their tail's nervously.
"What do you wish for us to do?" they question together as Duskfeather, Stonetiger, and Dustpaw come over to meet them.
Lotusleaf greets them all with a flick of his ears, glancing at Duskfeather for a moment before turning back to his leader. Swanfeather smiles and laughs at Amberpelt's rambunkious kits and nods in agreement.
"They are more than ready to be apprenticed now. Besides, they take up alot of room in the nursury too." she mews kindly to the other queen. "Thistlekit and Riverkit are ready as well, dont you think?" she addresses her kits pridefully, casting loving eyes over them.

Showerstar wasn't angry at Talonstride and Lotusleaf at all, but he figured out it came across that way. He gave them a reasurring look. "We need to tighten the borders, but I've arranged for a different patrol to do that." He meowed, looking at Stonetiger and Dustpaw. He glanced around for Spottedwind. "Also, I want the word spread that from now on no cat is allowed to hunt alone." He meowed. "Ever." His golden eyes passed a few cats, his mind whirling with thousands of different thoughts. "Later I want a private meeting with the two of you and some others." He meowed to Talonstride and Lotusleaf.
Riverkit wasn't amused in the least bit by the other kits. He couldn't bare the thought of being stuck with them in the apprentices den, and the warrior's den. If he ever made it that far. He'd most likely go straight to the elder's den. Like a blind cat could fight like a warrior. He sensed his mother's love pass over him strongly. He tried to put on a better face for his mother. But He didn't want to lie to her. He wasn't excited.
Thistlekit's eyes lit up like stars. Excitement stirred in her in waves.

"I think they are more than ready," she said, eyes softened in pride for the older queen. "Foxkit and Emberkit should be ready soon, too," Orangenight said, eyes shining with pride at her kits. Fernkit and Autumnkit parted their jaws in a wide yawn and fell asleep in the curve of their mother's belly.

Nightpool figured Showerstar didnt need to speak with her so she turned and walked past the nursery glancing at the kits then layed down somewhere away from the other cats. She looked up at the sky her big green eyes focusing on the sky and the birds and the other animals. she lokked down at the grounded and let out a heavy sigh.

Autumnpaw shivered in anticipation. Soon she would be an apprentice! She wondered who would be her mentor. She hooped it would be Shadowsky!

Autumnkit yawned, hoping that she would soon move into the apprentice's den soon, she curled up to sleep.
