Ryu sits down on the floor so that she wont get food on her bed. Too bad she didn't have any desks in her room. She would but there just wasn't enough room. So the floor was her desk and working area. "Is it good? Not the best food in the world but mom is pretty at cooking southern food" She smiles.

She smiles, chewing. "Yes. ^^ Its wonderful. I haven't had a home cooked meal in a while. Unless its me cooking."

"Wow" Ryu says before taking her next bite. She chews and swallows. "I've noticed that your mom is rarely home. It seems she works alot. What does she do?" She takes another bite of food.

"Oh, well she works for the state, then she also has a second job at working at a golf course. Then my parents are divorce, and my mother and I used to live with my great grandmother before we moved out." (Yes true, but for the moving thing.)

"Ahh.. I see." She says. "It must be hard being home alone all the time. Maybe you could start spending the night here or I could start spending the night there, so you wont be so lonely. Im sure my mom wont mind either way." She picks up her bottle of water.

She gives her a sad smile. "No. I don't mind it. ^^ I just... wrap myself up and keep myself busy. And I have my cat... so I really don't get that lonely." She tried to cover up. She took a bite of the dinner that was in front of her, adjusting her beany a bit lower over her face.

Ryu clears her throat. "Well ok. But tt's kinda not safe to stay by yourself at night anyways. I worry about you.. Are you sure you dont want to spend the night or me spend the night when your mom works?" Ryu gives her a concerned look.

Ryu looked into Kai's glassy eyes and stared there, for what seem like her to be the hours, in silence. Finally she spoke. "Yah.. I suppose you're right.." She breaks eye contact and takes a drink of her water.

~Later~ Kai smiles, having a good time with Ryu as they pulled into her drive way. She blinked, looking to the emty small porch, that didn't even have a light turned on. She shakes her head, snaping out of it. She smiles to Ryu. "Thanks for the ride. ^^ I'll see you in class." She hoped out of her car, and headed inside.

Ryu waited there to make sure she got inside safe. It'd make her feel better to at least make sure she was inside the house. I cant believe she's so hardheaded. I dont see what's so bad about letting someone help as little as to just stay around so she wouldn't be alone.. She watched Kai close the door and she sat there in her car for a few more moments. The she drives off deciding against any form of music tonight.
When she's home. She walks straight to her room. She had nothing to say to her mother, especially her step-father who sat there laughing idoticly at something on the tv. She layed down. She was tired. The last thing she remembered was seeing the back of the golden haired girl from her dream.

~Next day at school~
Kai was sitting in her usual spot for her class. She yawns lightly, fixing her beany. She had an ace wrap around her left for-arm as she held out her book to read.

Ryu walks into the room with her big a** painting. She figured it wouldn't matter to just keep it with her since she had art 2nd period. She spots Kai sitting in her normal spot and walks over to her. "Goodmorning you!" She smiles.
