She remembered Midnight's promise and her chest swelled with gratitude and forgiveness towards them as they made sure it was fulfilled. Of course, if Midnight hadn't been able to, Larissa would have understood. She might've had to blow off steam and tantrum and sulk a bit but she wouldn't have given Midnight trouble over it by blaming them or arguing with them.
She 'caught' the magic kiss and held her hand to her cheek where Midnight's signature magic tingled. It was interesting like that. Each magic had its own personal feeling, tied to the user. Midnight's felt impossibly powerful, angelic and draconic. She was so relieved and satisfied that Midnight had won and she took Poff on her shoulders and made her way through the crowds, trying to get down to the judge's platforms. However, it was jam packed with people and she couldn't get past them.
She was close enough to hear and see what went down between Heather and Midnight though. She was annoyed that Heather was trying to accuse her beloved of breaking the rules but she also fully expected Heather to pull something like this. Partly why she hadn't wanted Midnight to bother with her in the first place. Larissa admired how calm and cool Midnight stayed through Heather's shouting. Probably had some good practice in dealing with that thanks to Larissa's frequent anger explosions. The crystal witch's hand was in her pocket, grasping her wand as thoughts of spells she'd like to cast on Heather went through her mind. She felt the flare of anger surge through her chest and head, but took deep breaths and managed to keep under control, silently chanting the calming mantras she had learned in therapy.
Larissa couldn't help snickering when Heather insisted Midnight was human. "Ha, that's what you'd like to think" she muttered to herself. Brainless t**t. She smirked as Midnight put her in her place, easily replying to her words before reaching over to pick her up like a doll. At least the judges hadn't been bribed or anything. They were even apologising and offering upgrades. Larissa finally managed to make it through the crowd and walk up to join Midnight's side. She leaned on Midnight and hugged them, as much as her arms could of the dragon, and smirked at Heather as she wore a proud and possessive look that said 'MINE'. She actually laughed a bit when Midnight shook the woman for good measure then sprinkled her with her own ice. That was kind of funny. And Heather deserved all of it. The ice sprinkle was kind of degrading to the ice witch.
Larissa couldn't help beaming as the judges handed Midnight the medal, which looked so tiny compared to her size. She wondered if Midnight would resize it, or wear it as a bracelet or ring since it was so small.
"Well done, you did so good! I'm proud of you" she praised, hugging Midnight as tight as she could and pressing kisses into her smooth scales. Flashes from people's phone cameras and camera were going off and plenty of people had filmed the event, the film crews for the event making official copies of the footage to sell. Heather seemed to be angry about that, her awful behaviour and words being caught on film for everyone to hear and see.
"That'll teach you for thinking you can steal my soulmate on our honeymoon. And if you ever try anything like that again, I hope Midnight eats you" Larissa told the woman coldly and seriously as Poff narrowed her eyes and looked down her nose in the most haughty and disgusted manner the elegant, posh cat could manage.
"But wait...you'd probably be junk food" Larissa added, one finger beside her mouth as she tilted her head ever so slightly as though considering this.

Just before I Heather and sprinkled her ice ontop of her, is when Larissa came to my side and hugged my wrist; when I dropped the annoying woman I then turned and picked her up, nuzzling my beloved-- well aware of the cameras lights flashing around us as I continued to glow. "Mine." I said, before kissing her a few times, then with a smile setting her on my shoulder.
I couldn't help but smirk as Larissa's words, and I laughed with a slap to my knee when Poff piped up with the junk food comment. The ice witch got to her feet and glared at me, before vanishing in a plume of ice sparkles.
I kept my hand on her lap as I stood, and I realized just how tall I was. I towered over the people and the judges, and I carefully climbed over the barrier and off the ice; keeping one hand on Larissa's lap to keep her from falling off.
Before I got too far one of the judges handed me a voucher for the room upgrade. I had to crouch (again so Larissa doesn't fall off) to accept it, and I thanked the man before leaving the ice rink.
I stood outside as people swarmed around us; some still looking at me, others off to do their own thing. "When did I get so tall?" I asked, perhaps not to Larissa but to the world in general. I then looked at Larissa as I headed for the hotel. "So... I take it you liked it?" I asked, as a familiar little rose gold vine appeared in my hand and I let it latch onto my ear.

She giggled when Midnight picked her up, not expecting that but enjoying it even so, returning the nuzzles as best she could with a happy hum. She gasped softly at the height she was perched at and felt Poff's claws dig into her clothes and skin as the cat tried to hold on. The camera flashes were dazzling and she had to blink those lettuce green eyes to try and see clearly, afterimages burning on her retinas. Poff squeezed her eyes nearly closed, squinting away from the bright lights. The cat's eyes were far more sensitive than her mage's.
Larissa grinned triumphantly when Midnight declared her as theirs. "And proud to be" she added. Poff and Larissa were both relieved when Heather finally disappeared. "I hope she doesn't try to cause us any more trouble during our stay" said the crystal witch, while her familiar nodded agreement. Larissa reached out to grab hold of Midnight lightly for a sense of security as she felt her movements affect her. "This must be what little kids feel like when they're on their parent's shoulders. It's fun but kind of scary!" she mused, trying to recall if she had memories of doing so with her parents. But if she had, they were fuzzy now.
Once Midnight got the voucher, startling the witch slightly when they had to bend down, they headed back into the resort. "You must have had another growth spurt" Larissa replied to Midnight's rhetorical question. She felt a little uncomfortable with so many people still watching them and coming up to take pictures.
She nodded affirmation in response to their question "I loved it! It was amazing. It takes some skill to manipulate such a large and complicated illusion but you pulled it off without a hitch. Your skates made of light and the whole routine was just fantastic. I kind of want to buy the videod they're selling so I can rewatch it sometime. Your parents would probably enjoy watching it too. And the kids, in the future when they're old enough to understand what's happening in the video"
They made their way to the front desk and politely showed the staff their voucher. The staff were accommodating and agreed to move all of their bags and belongings via magic teleportation and levitation into the giant suite, including the stuff for their familiars. When Midnight stepped into the room, Larissa's eyes widened and her mouth dropped open. Everything in here was huge! A giant bed, enormous windows, a table so high she couldn't see the top, everything was just so BIG. "Wow...I know this is made for giants but....wow. I feel like a mouse in here" Larissa laughed, hopping off Midnight's shoulder and looking around. "At least it will be more comfortable for you though. You can stretch out to your full extent and not be restricted in any way" she smiled. "So...what should we do now? We came here to relax and be pampered. Do you wanna maybe try out the hot springs and beauty spa? They have some good package deals where you can get a facial and manicure, a nice massage and a soak in the springs. If we go when it gets dark, we can use the open air pools outside and stargaze as well"
Poff tilted her head thoughtfully. "I think I'll go back to the familiar shops and play areas. Getting wet isn't my favourite thing to do, although I don't mind swimming in shallow water on a hot summer day"
Larissa looked up at Midnight, petting the cat "Okay hon" she told Poff before speaking to her lover "We should probably take the chance to do some maternity shopping while we're here too. I don't really feel like it's real yet and it'd be nice and get us in the spirit of motherhood".

I must have had another growth spurt. I never really realize how big I get, because mainly when I'm a dragon I'm on all fours-- and your head is a little lower to the ground then on two legs.
But I smiled when she started to gush over the performance. I was glad I had scales, otherwise I'd be blushing. "It's not easy when trying to keep your balance, but school has been good to me on focus and practice." I said with a smile. "And I'm guessing they may give us a free copy because, well.... I was the performer, after all." I said with a smile.
Inside, we handed over the voucher and headed up to the new room. The furniture was indeed huge, but as Larissa hopped off I plopped down in a seat. It was actually a comfortable size, if not a little high.
"Comfy." I said with a smile as she commented that she felt like a mouse. I looked down at her as she mused about what to do next. I hopped off the chair and immediately shrunk back down to human form. "I think a massage sounds nice. The hot springs sound wonderful. I should stretch while I'm there." I said before giving her a kiss on the lips. "And then the concert!" I pulled back with almost a mad grin. "Black Rose will be playing! And they'll play the song they wrote for that performance." I said with a wink to Larissa. "Yes, they wrote that for you and me."
I glanced to Sapphire and Gossamer, who had lit from their usual perches which was my earrings. "We should go with Poff, keep the cat out of trouble."
I smiled at the bat and the crow. "Love you two." Before I gave them each a kiss on the forehead.

Larissa wondered how big her beautiful midnight dragon was going to get. Already the size was impressive but she had a feeling Midnight was far from full grown. They were a really young dragon. They probably had a fast growth rate compared to other types of dragons of similar age. She secretly wondered what would happen if you mixed a dragon with other races. Weren't dragon-human halfbreeds called Dragonborn or something? Hmm. Something to think about.
"You are doing an admirable job of keeping balance anyway, dear" she comforted, "School has helped us in so many ways. I think if it wasn't for the academy's help, things would be so much harder for us. Liliana's teachings are especially vital. I can't believe she's an angel now! She's so beautiful but I guess all angels are....and there are different kinds of angels"
While Midnight sat down, she opted just to stand for the time being. But she was pleasantly surprised when Midnight hopped off the chair and took on her more mortal form. "You don't have to shrink down just for me" she said. Then thought about it "But I think you'll fit easier in the massage parlour and shopping mall strips in this form" she chuckled. "They must have a lot of dragons staying here right now since they said all the dragon suites are taken. Wouldn't it be fun if we met some of them?"
"Mm, yeah, massages are sooo good. And hot springs. It's kind of romantic" she blushed happily as she glanced sideways from under her peach coloured lashes, giving her mate a coy look. She kissed Midnight back happily. "Concert...oh yeah. They weren't cancelled. Thanks to you" she smiled proudly at Midnight. "I love seeing you excited for something, happy...you look so gorgeous and vibrant and full of life" Larissa said, hugging her lover and nuzzling her cheek a bit.
"I thought so" she said when Midnight told her the band had written that song especially for them. "The lyrics were just so on point. It made me cry. If all of their music is like that, I think I'd enjoy watching their performance. I usually don't like metal, but...they sound good! Other types of metal I've heard just sound like a migraine or car crash" she wrinkled her nose slightly when she said that.
Poff looked innocently at Sapphire and Gossamer as she protested "Hey, I do not get into trouble! On purpose..." she added, looking away to one side with a blush. "But I would like to play together and find more fun stuff to do. I feel like we're becoming better furr-riends during this holiday".
Poff jumped down and started to walk out of the room. "Let's go, meow! Let's go play!" she smiled, her tail held high and waving happily.

"Why thank you." I said as Larissa told me how well I was doing at keeping my balance. "I'm glad the Acadamy's been so helpful too. I don't know how we would have dealt with the problems we have without Liliana's help." Then she commented on pretty Liliana was. "Oh yes. Leo did make her lovely, didn't he? I wonder how the rest of the class is going to react to her showing up as an angel."
I had mostly sat down to test the size of the chair. It was a little big, but gave plenty of legroom. But Larissa was happy to see me shrink back down to her size, and she was fantasizing about the massages and the hot-springs. Then I grinned when she remembered the concert. The smile got bigger when she says that she likes to see me happy. "Mmm... Maybe. I wonder where they would be? It's pretty obvious that I'm a dragon now..."
"Oh yes. I was surprised with how well they managed to get the lyrics. I was very glad, tho, I was able to get the performance to work well with the music." She commented most metal and I made a goofy face. "I'm not a fan of death metal or screamer metal myself. But Symphonic metal, like Nightwish, Within Temptation, and Black Roses? Lovely." I said with a smile.
I watched Sapphire and Gossamer chuckle in their own ways at the cat's reactions and they followed her out the door. I smiled at Larissa and held out my arm for her to take so we could head to the spa.

"Yeah, and learning all the new spells and magic from our classes gave us a way to fight back when enemies come" she said. "Not to mention Aria being the perfect hideaway. It's almost cheating. A life hack". She smiled trying to imagine the class of Defense Against Demonics seeing their new teacher's angel form. "He did" She agreed about Leo making her look lovely. "I would have been happy too if I were in her shoes"
"I don't know. Maybe they have an exclusive area where they like to hang out. They could be out exploring the mountains for prey, or looking in caves for treasure, or whatever else dragons like to do. If they sense you, maybe one or two will seek you out to say hello. I can understand them being secretive due to the fact that adventurers and such like to hunt them. This place is a retreat after all. A place where they can come to get away from it all"
"I'm impressed that they managed to cobble up lyrics and put a tune to it that quickly" she stated. "I think normally it takes longer, with more fiddling. But the way it came together was special. And then you working out a routine to that music so fast, in two days or less...maybe the gods had a hand in some of it. Leo did come to our wedding"
"Hm, I see" Larissa nodded, trying to remember the names of the bands. She'd look them up on her computer at some point. "I admit pop music is probably still my favourite but I like other kinds of music too. I enjoy broadening my horizons with new materials. And I don't think I would have gotten into it if it wasn't for you sharing and recommending things".
"Wait a sec. I just have to grab a few things" she told Midnight. They took a few moments to get their towels and purses and other stuff before heading down the elevators to the lower levels of the sprawling hotel.
She reached her hand down to grab Midnight's hand as they walked towards the salon and hot spring area together. A herbal smell wafted out of the beauty spa and Larissa could hear soothing music of flutes and pipes mixed with nature sounds like bird calls, a flowing river, rain, or other things. The hot springs were right next door, as many clients liked to go relax in them before or after their massages and beauty treatments.
Larissa stepped up to the counter and requested one of the packages. It was cheaper to buy a package deal than to pay for separate things.
The woman behind the desk smiled as Larissa took out her bank card. "Oh, no, no dear, that's fine. You don't have to pay now. You pay at the end, in case there are things you want to add before finishing here today" The woman said softly, a gentle elvish woman with Asian looks, long pointed ears, silver-white hair and slanted silver eyes. She had delicate wrists and features. She stepped out from behind the counter "Follow me. If you both would like to take a seat and make yourselves comfortable here..." she indicated with a gentle sweep of her arm, pointing out the reclining seats with foot rests where they could sink into and relax.
"The beauty therapists will be along in just a moment. Here is some complimentary iced spring water from the mountain glaciers here" she said.
True to her word, more staff appeared, and soon sat on stools next to the reclining chairs and introduced themselves. "So, you're getting the facial, manicure, pedicure and massage today. That's great. Let's get you started" A blonde woman said, reaching for a table on wheels that had tools and things. "We'll start by cleansing your skin" she said and started to use products on Larissa's face while her fellow staff member saw to treating Midnight.
"So, are you from around here, or visiting?" Midnight's beautician asked, friendly and trying to make conversation. Part of the fun of working in a place like this was getting to talk to all kinds of interesting people.

"She possibly is." I said as Larissa commented that Aria was cheating. "Then again I'm not too hot on the idea of having demons break into our dorm room at night." She may be cheating but she's also a ton more secure then the dorms, especially since I had at least narrowed down our mystery demon summoner as a fellow student, if not outright Seth. "She did say she wanted to be divine. There are worse gods to serve then Leo."
"The retreat has rules against trying to slay fellow guests, so that is a thing." I said with a goofy smile. "I also hope I don't get pestered too much about that, as I am one. I wonder if we will get a fellow Dragon dropping in to say hello."
"Mmhmm. It is amazing. I had a day to come up with that routine." I said. "I had to scarf a ton of energy restoring food and coffee...." I gave her a big, almost crazy smile. "I haven't slept for 2 days! Coofffeeeeeee." I checked a non-existant watch on my wrist. "It'll wear off in... 3 hours, I'll probably need an energy drink depending on how relaxing the massage is." I've been awake longer, so this isn't exactly out of the norm for me. William occasionally likes to make cracks that my bloodstream is roughly 30% caffeine.
I liked her saying that she'd try listening to Symphonic metal, at least. I waited for her to collect her purse and we headed down to the massage parlor.
We were given some water and I downed the entire bottle in one go, nearly crumpling the plastic in the process. We were lead into a massage room.
We were laid down and the blond masseuse tending to Larissa commented that we were getting facial, manicure, pedicure and massage. Mine was a dark haired lady with long straight hair, and she conversationally asked me if I was visiting.
"I am. I'm a collage student and we're on our honeymoon." I said to the masseuse.
"Well congratulations!" Said the lady who was doing my facial now. "What are you studying?"
"Shadow, Light, Magitek, ectra." I didn't want to mention Defense against Demonics, and I hope that if Larissa wanted to participate she wouldn't either.

"Me either" she said, to demons breaking in. "Ah, Aria; what would we do without her?" their stress levels would be a lot higher if they didn't have the space to escape to. There were probably ways they could fortify their dorm room and do stuff that would block access, like crystal door blocks and barrier spells. But it was good to not have to worry. Larissa didn't like the idea of moving around all over the world trying to escape from enemies. And the perpetrator was a student at their academy. Seth. She didn't want to think about it right now. It was still painful and troubling.
"Oh of course. I think she's happy with him" she agreed about their teacher. Leo was one of the forces of good.
"I hate to wonder what led to them putting that rule in but I'm glad that's the case" she said as they talked, "You might get some interest, since you revealed your dragon form at the skate rink. A lot of people saw. But it'd probably be positive attention. And that would be neat, depending on what sort of personality they have"
"Midnight! That much coffee can't be good for you" Larissa said, exasperated, but chuckled at her mate's goofy grin and talk of energy supplements. "Though I understand the need to stay awake and plan your routine. But still. That's nuts, what you had to do" She paused to watch Midnight look at nothing on their wrist. "It's okay if you fall asleep during the massage" Larissa said. "Getting a nap in before seeing the rock band tonight can't hurt. I know you've gone without sleep for longer. But it couldn't hurt"

They had entered the beauty spa. She sipped her water politely, as it was too cold to do much else. "How do you not get brain freeze or toothache? This water's freezing" she said, seeing Midnight drain the bottle of fresh water all at once. She was helped to lay back and she started to relax as her face was cleaned with some sort of mineral liquid, pores were cleansed, and then a massage with some sort of fragrant oil, before a pale green paste was applied as well as cucumber slices over her eyelids.
Larissa joined in the conversation, though she couldn't see anything at present "I'm majoring in crystal magic, supplementing in general wizard spells, healing magic, a bit of light magic and the like. It's hard work sometimes, but it's still just as fun as I imagined when I was little and dreaming of learning to be a witch. I plan to open a travelling shop and travel around selling my spells and enchanted items to help people. I figured it would be fun to travel around before settling down and starting a family, which is a goal I've had for a long time"
"Oh, well won't that be nice. It sounds like a good life plan if you ask me. Becoming a witch sounds very interesting" the blonde woman said with a smile in her voice as she worked on Larissa's manicure, now paying attention to her fingernails. "You sound like you would be a good witch. I think you'd be very kind and helpful to others"
As time passed the treatments continued, until their fingernails were filed, smoothed, shaped and painted with nail polish which then dried very quickly. Larissa had chosen pale pink glitter polish with star confetti in it. Their feet were also bathed, rough parts sanded down, super moisturised and their toenails manicured as well, and painted. Then the masseurs led them into another room and helped them lay face down on the massage tables. Larissa felt weird with her face poking through the hole in the odd table but she immediately stopped minding as her muscles all over her shoulder and back were rubbed and kneaded. She closed her eyes and listened to the nature soundtracks, letting her mind wander. It was fun to imagine the rivers, forests and other places that the soundtracks were playing.
"So, any plans after this?" Larissa's attendant asked casually.
"Oh yeah. We're going next door to the outdoor hot baths" Larissa said "We're going to try and do some stargazing too. And then the rock concert..." she said in a dreamy manner, waving a hand descriptively.

I held still as I got a treatment much like Larissa did, and I relaxed in the seat as the masseuses worked their magic. I let Larissa talk with the masseuses, as under the skilled fingers of the woman who was tending to me I was starting to relax.
When the facial was done we got the pedicure and manicure. Mine were a dark blue with silver to look like the night sky. My attendant blinked at my claw like nails but that only tripped her up briefly as she also started to sharpen them.
We were lead into the massage room and I lay down on the massage table; my face looking through the hole. I could feel the attendant's hands on my back as they started to work out the tension in my back. It felt so relaxing, I might just...
"My my, your back is rock hard. Let's get all that tension out." Said the attendant before a snore came from the dozing Midnight.

Larissa broke out of her blissful reverie when she heard a snore from her partner. She grinned and giggled a little bit "Poor thing. They've not had much sleep lately" she explained to the blonde who was performing her massage, currently rubbing in some beautifully scented oil.
"Oh, that's fine. We get people falling asleep all the time here. We just wake them up when it's over" the woman waved a hand and smiled. "You're sounding pretty spaced out yourself" she pointed out, somewhat amused.
"Yeah. It's nice" Larissa hummed, closing her eyes again and letting the woman work her magic hands on her muscles. "I feel like putty"
"Well then that's good, it means I'm doing this right. Although I should hope so, we see many customers a day" the woman chuckled. "I love making people feel good. It's a very rewarding job" she added.
Larissa chatted happily with the woman as they did the full 40 mins treatment. She then forced herself to roll off the comfortable table and sit up, stretching a little. "Ahh, I feel so great now" she said, happy and feeling super relaxed. She noticed Midnight was still sleeping and she helped the dark haired woman gently shake them awake.
"Hey there sleepyhead, they finished the massage. We can go hang out in the open air baths next door after we pay here" Larissa told Midnight. "It's about 7:00pm, so it should be dark enough for us to see the stars from the open air baths. Pretty sure we have time to get you some more energy drinks and food before the concert tonight too. Are you hungry?"

I woke up sometime later, the massage had stopped and I felt much like a wet noodle. I lifted my head with something akin to a cross of a groan and a moan. resting my chin on the headrest.
I yawned, covering my mouth as to not show off my sharp teeth, and rolled over before sitting up. "A soak and stars sounds good." I said sliding off the bed, blinking in the light of the massage parlor. "Food and coffee sound really good right now. Should also find me a pair of really good earplugs."

Larissa watched her lover affectionately as they struggled to wake up. She was glad to see Midnight so relaxed. They came here to get stress off their shoulders and have fun and she was glad to see Midnight do so. She watched her yawn with some sympathy, smiling as Midnight politely covered their mouth. Larissa knew Midnight was hiding their fangs from the employees of the spa. Not that they had to, here, but habits die hard and if Midnight yawned like that in public outside the resort, some people might get scared, or too curious for their own good.
"Yes! It sounds very romantic~" Larissa sighedt, clasping her hands together at around chest height and agreeing with Midnight. She put her hands out to help steady Midnight as they slid off the bed and tried to adjust to the soft lighting of the parlour. Sensitive dragon eyes and all that.
"Oh, if you like, you can order food and drinks to be delivered to you at the baths" the masseuse who had treated Larissa spoke up. They put it on wooden trays that float on the water. It's quite luxurious. Here" She walked over to the reception area and picked up some brochures "These are menus. You can order from any of the restaurants or suppliers in the resort and a maid will bring your meals down to the hot spring baths"
"Ohh! That would be neat. Dining while relaxing in the warm water of the baths and watching the stars! I like the sound of that" Larissa stated, taking the menus and thanking the women. She dug in her enchanted pockets and withdrew her debit card, paying for the spa treatments for herself. Her skin still felt young and supple from the facials and she admired her manicured, painted nails as she moved the card over to swipe it, using PayPass.
"Well thank you so much for the wonderful service" she said as they prepped to leave.
"It was our pleasure, dears. Enjoy those hot baths" the women said, taking Midnight's payment when they paid.
Larissa headed out of the beauty spa with her beloved, gently reaching down to clasp their hand in hers, noticing the difference in their body temperatures as her warm skin met with cool skin. She rubbed her thumb lightly on the back of Midnight's hand as they walked towards the hot springs. "I hear they have a selection of different types of outdoor and indoor baths. Some with flower petals, others with scents or minerals added to the water. We should really enjoy it" she said happily. "I wonder if we can come back here when our backs are sore from our pregnancies".

"Mmmm, it does, doesn't it?" I said sleepily. Larissa helped keep me steady as I blinked several times to keep myself upright. What I get for cramming a skate routine into two days. I blinked drowsily as one of the masseuses said we could get food at the baths. "Mmm, that sounds nice." I mumbled, though the thought of food sooner made my ears wiggle some. Food and coffee, food and coffee. Stay awake.
I liked my nails, as I pulled out a card to pay, and I liked my stellar nails.
Larissa took my hand and we headed out; her skin felt smooth and soft as did mine. She was warm, I feel cool. I smiled as she talked about the springs.
We passed a few people as we headed for the springs, and they glanced at me as we walked past. I suddenly felt better, and I realized I was glowing faintly again.
"I wonder if we can get an outdoor bath with roses or perhaps sakura blossoms added into the water." I suggested. "Those will smell nice."

She made her way into the springs, pushing open the door to the place and setting some musical chimes tinkling from their spot above the door. There was again some nature sounds playing with gentle instrumental music overlayed but it sounded more Asian themed. There were products for the bath and bathing on display on the shelves as well as towels to take into the baths. There were three changing rooms, one female, one male and one for unisex. There were also some vending machines with ice cream and flavoured milk, iced teas and flavoured water.
Larissa walked to the front counter which was staffed by two different people and asked about the kinds of baths they had outside, mentioning that they wanted to star gaze as well as order food and beverages. She requested cherry blossoms as well.
"Sure, we can do that for you. It's this bath, right here" the woman said, pointing to a map of the outdoor baths. "Here, in the enchanted spring garden, the trees are always blooming by a spell and there's a never ending rain of sakura petals into the water of the bath. There is a clear view of the night sky and low gentle lighting by paper lanterns. It also has some minerals added that turn the water a light shade of pink" she said. "Here are your locker keys for the lockers in the changing rooms and please make sure to bathe before you enter the hot springs using the showers provided. No soap should be taken into the hot springs as it changes the quality of the water"
"Okay, thank you" Larissa said, taking her locker key and handing Midnight's to them. "How do we order meals and drinks?"
"Oh, yes, right. You just tell me your orders here and we'll bring them out to you once they are delivered to us from the restaurants or shops"
After placing their orders, then putting their clothes and stuff in the lockers and washing their bodies quickly, they made their way to the cherry blossom pool and Larissa got in. She cupped water in her hands and watched it fall. "The water looks like strawberry milk. It smells so good, too" she said, inhaling the floral scents of the bath and steam. The water came right up to her shoulders, just below her collarbones.
They hadn't been there very long when another person joined them, slipping in quietly and gracefully nearby. She was a white half dragon humanoid person who had pearlescent white skin, little crystals sparkling all over the skin in patches of scales, glittering white wings, long white hair, pearl claws and a long tail with a crystalline tip. She also had a small lacy looking ridge down her back and tail, pale blue eyes and sharp crystalline teeth. She glanced at Midnight and Larissa shyly "Ah, excuse me, please. I hope this is okay" she said in a voice like silk. "I'm not interrupting anything, am I?"
She kept glancing at Midnight, a hint of curiosity in her expression. Ahh, maybe she was one of the other dragons that had heard of Midnight and was here to see if she could meet them in person.
