There's been a lot of future themed items added to the gaia virtual item database over the past couple years, usually one at a time rather than in one big, theme related explosion, so I think we could come up with avis. They wouldn't extravagant or verging on the line of epic, but they'd still be fun and fit in with the theme.
And I think we could combine a few different ideas that have been suggested. If Tron is a computer then a computer could code a program to run scenery and decor for any situation, including cyber-punk. I think Wrath would work almost anywhere since it's not about violence and chaos, but is about vengeance and punishment... it can be quick and hard or meticulously planned out... so it would fit in either situation if we were trying to choose between cyberpunk or cyberprep.

I'm not very familiar with cyberprep. Could you clarify a bit?

A future world that's based on a utopian society where technology has flourished and is benefiting mankind is cyberprep as opposed to cyberpunk, which is a dystopian future which is the failure of attempts at a utopian society (Blade Runner, Terminator, Brave New World, 1984.)

I've seen the first part of Tron, but not Bladerunner... But they both sound like great ideas! Epcot~ I love the idea of the factory making weapons to destroy the world... It made me rofl for so long... XD

LilChibiusa In Tron they are in a computer. It would be really hard to make appropriate avi's and stuff. It also seems to technical to show emotions like Wrath. I'm not saying it's not an option. I'm just saying it would be very difficult to do. What I mean is that the sceneray could be tron-esque. Not fully. So what we could dress-up like is wrath in full black with some blue tints or red tinted stuff, well kindness will where white items with a blue or green tint. Not fitting tron exactly, just something along that lines of futuristic stuff. We could have the computer code scenery, but that is how I get sucked into the sloth room. That could be how I get there. also thank you for the compliment about my earlier idea. Like others have said, wrath does not necessarily equal violence.

Color coating the avi's would definitely be cool! Bad guys wear red and good guys wear blue like in Tron. xd I guess that Calm would be purple? I'm a bit curious how you're going to tie Wrath into such a setting. The Sloth room chose a steampunk theme to tie into the idea of time. (Zeal makes good use of time, and Sloth makes very bad use of it.) We're going to have clocks everywhere as motifs and decorations.

I was like thinking of the whole idea of good vs. evil kind of aspect as that. If Wrath is winning the computer will set the scenery to something that represents wrath, like let's say a mafia boss's room, or a volcano, but if kindness is winning it will set the scenery to something calm and kind, like a open field, where the factory is still there but the inside walls and floor look like an open field where you can touch and feel the grass, and smell the open air.

It makes me think of a video game that deals with balancing two extremes, like Fable, with the environment being influences by the ruling alignment.

How would you show the changing scenery? Would it be part of the room plot or would it be reflected in changing art?
@Robayn - When I was still working on my English degree, I took a class called "Science Fiction Masters of the Universe." I'm not joking; that was the real title of the course. I signed up for it right away, and had a great time in it. We read cyberpunk stuff, but we never even mentioned cyberprep. I wonder why it never came up. confused I really can't think of any examples based off your definition other than Utopia.

What we could do is Wrath and Sloth could agree to exchange technology - Wrath would take a time traveling device to start wars, Sloth would take a video game, then everyone would play instead of work.
I think Tron would be cool, except I'm not quite sure how Wrath and Kindness would play into that. Maybe a ... tournament for humans? Two doors, one chosen out of Kindness and one of Wrath? Or maybe we don't even need that - just have a society. How would the society be organized? We have to have something for Wrath to take over, right?

It wouldn't have come up because it's not a scholarly definition of a genre. Just like in literature there are many sub-genres that aren't listed/recognized depending on whom you speak to or where you look, cyberprep isn't widely circulated except in fandoms and fan forums.
