Anthony walked to the door and wrapped an arm around him. He pressed his mouth to Alex's and looked into his eyes when he drew back. "Lover, don't think you're the only one who can see the thoughts of others. These thoughts you have of death disturb me. But we don't have the time now. I must speak with you about it later. I don't like seeing sorrow in your eyes." He kissed the side of his neck and released him, walking down the hall slowly, waiting for him to catch up.
Alex's powers never ceased to amaze him. Just pulling a scythe out of the air. He had never seen anyone do it before.

LyreStonehart Mrrr..." Lucien pulled him down on top of himself on the bed. "Do I haaaave to get up?" He whined. He ran his fingers through Max's curly hair. "I'm sorry Max," he said with a sigh. "You're too sweet for all this. You shouldn't be bothered with all this undead scariness. But it can't be helped. I'd leave you here but I'm afraid if I don't watch over you the others might get some... you know... ideas." He showed his fangs a little. "Yeah..." Max said, holding close to Lucien, a bit scared at the thought of what could happen if Lucien left him in here on his own. A human among a large group of vampires couldn't be too careful. He was very aware of the need for him to stay close to Lucien at all times. "Yeah...I deffinetly want to stay with you...the meetings don't bother me that much I just...don't want anyone to get killed...but I guess there's not really any way around that. " He said sadly. He cuddled close to Lucien, nuzzling him lovingly. He wished they could just stay there together.

He went to the closet and picked out a sheer shirt with many folds in it. It was a light shade of blue. He put some cream-coloured corderouy pants with it. Certainly they covered a lot but they were snug and would give him a nice view of his lover's pretty little a**. He hummed as he picked out some purple robes for himself. As an afterthought he picked up a scimitar he'd brought with him and belted it on around his hips. He'd never liked the gladus. Too plain for him.

Anthony frowned deeply. He had heard of such a thing but didn't believe it was true. He looked up at Yoshitaka. "Yoshitaka-san," he said, addressing him properly in the Japanese way. "Are you familiar with this procedure? I have never heard of it being done, or at least it never was in the places I have lived throughout my existence. If it can be done, it would be a great consolation that we should have something of that calibur at hand to use." Still, effectively sterilizing the young vampires for that long... What would happen if they needed more vampires for whatever reason? If the hunters started a full scale war... "How widespread would be the effects? Is there any way to select a specific population to direct it at or must it be done individually?" He bit his tongue, stopping more questions that wanted to pour out. He had to let the other vampire speak.

Lucien scowled. "I don't like it," he said blatantly. The reason was right in his lap. He had planned to turn Max when he was ready. If every vampire was rendered incapable of siring another vampire for as long as Yoshitaka had said, his little love would be long dead by then. "It's too all-inclusive Yoshitaka. It would be foolish to do something we cannot undo if the vampire hunters found out, and you know they will, they will twist it to their advantage. Think. As soon as they learn that they have a huge gaping window of time that there can be no more vampires created, they will start mass-ordaning people as hunters and setting them loose on us. It's what I would do if I were a hunter. They could kill us all by sheer numbers. And then their quest could be completed. I want to solve this problem just as much as anyone else. But I don't want to lose to them. And I don't want to see my species become extinct."

Max sat silently on Lucien's lap, his arms wrapped loosely around the vampire's neck, his head resting on his shoulder as he watched and listened to everything that the vampires were discussing. He was at least glad that the solution that was being discussed now was not one that would involve all the newly turned vampires being killed. He didn't want to think about anything that would mean death for so many people. He understood what Lucien's issue with the newly proposed solution was, though he still couldn't understand why there were people that were so set on killing vampires. Everyone he knew that he cared about was a vampire.

“It is a risk that we will have to decide on Lucient. I respect your opinion but there must be done something otherwise a great deal of pain and suffering will flow through the world and it won’t matter what the vampire hunters do. We’ll all die regardless if we starve to death from lack of blood.” Yoshitaka stood resolute. In his mind this was the only way a fell swoop. Otherwise there would have to be a culling of the herd and that was something that Anthony didn’t want to repeat. Yoshitaka wasn’t too keen on the idea either and Lucien, even though younger than Anthony sure as hell shouldn’t be willing to go down that route either. He would have been there in that time.
“What do you propose we do Lucien? I’m open to any suggestion that you might have.” Yoshitaka’s temper was flaring. His family needed him as soon as possible.
