"Yet again Sarah, I'm so sorry. I think I'll just... lay on the bed now." Black said, rolling on to the bed. He felt all kinds of awkward now and it felt like he'd never get over it. When he was on the side of the bed, he looked over to her still. "Umm... ready whenever you are."

Sarah took off her boots and fishnets and lay in bed. It was so warm and comfortable. Soft, too. She sighed happily as she lay on her back, enjoying being in a real bed again.

Black watched her carefully, how well her form fit this bed was perfect. He couldn't believe she wanted to do this. The last time he offered a bed to someone in need, they slapped him, called him a pervert and walked away. It was natural for him to be kind to people and he never did it for his own gain. Unknowing of what to do, he scooched up closer to and nervously wrapped his arm around her. "Is... is this what you meant?" He asked.

She found herself getting closer to him. Now she knew why the bed was so warm. It was because every night there was someone to sleep in it. Sarah pulled him tighter to her. "Y-yes..." The way he touched her was wonderful. Never before had she been touched like that by anyone.

Surprised by her reaction, Black only squeezed her tighter. For some odd reason, she didn't feel like a toughened bounty hunter anymore, she felt like a normal woman. "Sarah, are you feeling any better?"

"You have no idea," she purred at him. Now, Sarah felt the choice would be easy for her. She would ask if she could stay. "You know...this is the first time I've felt wanted somewhere... Except maybe by drunks I've helped home after they've had too much..."

"It's alright Sarah, I understand. You're welcomed here by someone and that's me. I'm also sure that Katherine and the others will welcome you as well. Now, I think it's time for us to go to bed." Black said, he absently gave her a kiss on the forehead, like telling her it would all be alright. Then he closed his eyes with his arms still around her.

Her eye lids felt heavy. She found herself humming an old lullaby before she fell into the deepest sleep since she was a child.

It was sooner or later that Black woke up. He looked down at Sarah and only smiled for a second. Though it felt odd holding on to a half naked girl like this and not have anyone make any assumptions as to what they COULD have been. Though he was glad that she had trusted him this much and laid there, waiting for her to wake.

He was still holding her. In her sleep, Sarah had rolled so her back was to him. Still quite sleepy, she rolled back to face him, softly kissing his chest as she opened her eyes. Sarah felt overwheming gratitude towards him for letting her share his bed. Years had passed since the girl had slept this well, or this long.

Black only gave her a smile as she did so. Petting the hair back on her head, he leaned down to give her a kiss on the forehead. There was only a small chuckle as he realized what had gone on. "So, did you sleep well?"

"Never slept better." She snuggled closer to him. He was so warm and she loved the way her felt against her. It didn't even occur to Sarah that she still didn't have her bag. Or the fact she was half naked in bed with a man she had met only the day before. Everything was still too wonderful to be true.

Looking down at her, his stomach rumbled lightly. He laughed and hugged her tightly before looking over at the door. "I'm hungry, do you want to head down into the kitchen to go grab something?" He asked, still waiting for someone to walk in awkwardly.

Sarah couldn't help but giggle at her own hunger. Until Black mentioned that he himself was hungry, she wasn't. Now, the obtaining of food was paramount. "Lead the way then!" She responded, happily rolling out of bed. All her belongings were exactly where she left them the night before. Slowly, she slipped on her fishnets and boots. The coat was up for debate. It would be a good idea as she still only had her underwear on.

"Might want to keep your coat on. I don't need any wandering eyes from the servants." Black told her as he sat up and put on his shoes. Walking towards the door, he would wait until she put her coat on. Then as they left, they had gone through a few hallways, finally coming to the main hall and then leading off into the kitchen. Sitting at the table, he looked up at her. "Anything you want to eat in particular?"
