heavyflamer i don't see anywhere where it says you can't use special movement type things. i would ask a gw judge or someone who works there and knows the rules That's my point. The only Limitation I know of for movement other than for followers is you can't have speed and flight.

God my daemon prince was lucky. He survived being attack by 8 genestealers each round for 3 rounds, took no wounds, and drove them back.

Even though Cagalli doesnt plan on running a Greater Daemon in her army, I am making Gareth, Greater Daemon of Nurgle. Based on my Area Manager at work, it's fat, ugly, has bad hair, A horrible tie, and glasses. biggrin

Grandpa Ducky Ophiuchus Even though Cagalli doesnt plan on running a Greater Daemon in her army, I am making Gareth, Greater Daemon of Nurgle. Based on my Area Manager at work, it's fat, ugly, has bad hair, A horrible tie, and glasses. biggrin Lmao! That sounds hilarious. Are we ever going to get to see it? i'll see if I can get a picture of my manager for comparison, too. Hey! Today I was at lunch writing an army list from the chaos codex, and Brian from Ovenfresh went, "Is chaos something new?" I was all, "wha?" and he said, "Only I thought you did Imperial marines..." This was odd. How did he know? I've only seen him in the GW once, and he didn't play in that game... "I'm writing a Nurgle Daemon themed list" and he goes "Ah, you're Nurgle, eh? Mine's Khorne." I was just like, surprised

I saw the light... I tested them out... Tzeentch. Thousand Sons baby. 4 squads of 9 thousand sons, 2 squads of horrors with some Flamers of Tzeentch in there... Psychic powers a plenty... Sweet sweet... And then for the topping, add 6 termy chosen. Its killer. What else can I say. I have played Nurgle armies, Khorne armies, and Slaanesh, but none were as fun as Tzeentch.
"Sorry, you have to take a leadership test to assualt me, oh, my turn, rapid fire bolters, aspiring champion fires a heavy bolter equivelant." So now... Nurgle, bah! Khorne, primitive! Tzeentch is the way to go! Plus, cant go wrong with two wounds a model.

i think the chaos marines AS MODELS are fun to paint and convert. i do the iron warriors legion and i also do space marine ultramarines. its really fun to do conversions on chaos, like tentacles and daemonic mutations and stuff. the chaos marines have a really good plus side too, they have a huge armory compared to the space marines.

Why do you continously try to insult people clearly smarter, better, and more liked than you? you dont even know me so how would you know? im not so much insulting him as the thousand sons, which he plays. if he thinks they are so wonderful; he either found something no one else did, or doesn''t know what he''s talking about. im thinking number 2 but hey it could be number one. thousand sons are no longer good, they need to be revised or something.

I fail to see how Thousand Sons are "crap" and "the same as the others" - Anything that is not a basic marine troops choice or fast attack unit is a sorceror. - Each sorceror can take thralls to sacrifice for psychic powers - Their basic troop has full shooting range when moving and a free daemonic ability - Their basic troop is immune to TWO chaos mutation types due to having no body - Chosen squads are ALL sorcerors
That to me is NOT a normal chaos army.
