Ace quickly ran into the library, and the moment he ran in, he grabbed a large book in order to hide his face incase they had followed him. When the book was covering his face, he quickly began hiding behind a various number of book shelves, gathering even more books in order to hide his body. Soon, he was piled up with stacks of books. Drama books, funny books, fantasy books, and even books for perverts. The second he was piled up with the books, Ace knelt down behind another book shelf and continued to hide. For some reason, fear was all he could think of. It was rather babyish of Ace, but he did not care. That man that had appeared to have feelings for Jessica looked oddly mad at Ace. Hiding felt like a good idea at the current situation.

Carter, Katherine, and Jessica all stumbled into the library Katherine and Jessica both shushing each other as they did so. The two of them were far from the stealth type, which was unlike Carter who had gone through vigorous training to become a skilled fighter. Oh well, he still loved the two. Well, he loved Jessica at least, Katherine was just there.
"You guys shouldn't have followed me..." Carter mumbled, with irritation apparent on his face.
"Well, we couldn't have left you by yourself! You may have had a love affair with Ace. The boy isn't completely unfortunate looking..."
Katherine laughed aloud, not even trying to be quiet at that point. "Silly Jessica! Carter only loves you!"
"Oh you're funny." Jessica muttered in reply sarcastically.
"So where's this Ace kid anyways, Jess?" Carter asked Jessica, ignoring Katherine for the time being.
"Probably hiding!" Katherine declared, knowing that Carter did not wish to talk to her. What? She couldn't just give the boy what he wanted.
Jessica nodded in agreement. "Yea he is a wimp... I had to save his life! He practically killed me while I did too!"

Ace frowned at their statements about him. He so much wanted to grab a knife and shove down their throats. But thinking of the results if he had done such a thing, Ace continued to stay hidden behind the stack of books. Behind the books, Ace thrived to hear more about what they were saying about him. If only they would say at least one nice thing about him. . .

"I should've just left him in the forest..." Jessica then muttered in addition to her former comment. "Then I could've lived my life without having to know someone actually hated me!" She then added dramatically, changing her expression so that it looked as if she was about to cry.
"There there Jessica... Carter and I don't hate you!" Katherine comforted.
Jessica continued to frown, ignoring Katherine's comment. "I can't believe he gave me CPR..."
"What?!" Katherine declared, backing away from her friend in surprise. "He KISSED you?! Jessica, that's step two of the plan! You two are destined to be lovers now not haters."
"He hates me you dimwit." Jessica replied as she lightly hit Katherine on the back of the head. "He's a perv remember he just wants to get under clothes."
"Should I just kill him?" Carter asked, finally speaking.

Kill?
Even more fear crawled upon Ace's back. Why would this guy called Carter want to kill Ace? Perhaps it had been because Jessica had mentioned about when he was forced to give her CPR back at Crystal Lake. Now, the library did not feel as safe as he had hoped. Where was somewhere else that would be safer? A dorm? Yes, that sounded good. But how was he too exit the library? Carter, Jessica, and Katherine were blocking the door. And he couldn't just leave through the window, for they would surely spot him. For now, he was to continue hiding until the three were going to quit blocking his only path. Or maybe he could use his mind control powers against Carter. That felt like an incredibly great and useful action. Yes. . . it was a marvelous idea. Using his powers against Carter. . . .
Chuckling under his breath, Ace summoned his magic ace card. The ace card showed a large red heart in the center, and read the words "Ace" above it. He placed his two index fingers upon the red heart, and muttered a spell, quiet enough for the three idiots not to hear him. When his spell finished, the heart on the card began to glow piercing red. Surprisingly enough, Ace then felt a strong force press against his brain, letting him know that he could control Carter's mind. Deep in Ace's mind, he only thought of an image of Carter, which was difficult on a count of that they had only known each other for about a minute or so. As he stared at the image of Carter in his mind, Ace felt himself inside of Carter's own mind. It was scary. But fear could not stop Ace now. The moment Ace knew that he was in Carter's mind, Ace quickly thought of making Carter leave and go back home. So basically, Ace's control was supposed to make Carter leave the school, and forget all about Jessica, Katherine, and Ace. . . forever. Hopefully, his mind control would work. There was a possibility that Carter was resident to mind control spells.

Jessica shook her head in reply to Carter, sighing a bit as she did so. She wasn't quite sure if the boy was serious or not, but either way she was going to scold him. One could never tell when it came to Carter, his choices weren't always the best ones. His best interests always seemed to be what was best for Jessica, which had always seemed odd to her, but she never cared to question it. Instead all she would do was shake her head and sigh, just as she was doing then.
"No... you can't do that." She pointed out to him, her tone gentle but still a bit fierce considering that she was giving him an order of sorts. "Killing him isn't the right thing to do. Sure he might hate me and doesn't want to have anything to do with me, but that doesn't mean I hate the kid in return. I just want to break the boy; get him to say the truth. That's all." She attempted to say such things in a hushed voice, hoping that Ace wouldn't hear, but of course she failed. Jessica wasn't exactly the quietest person.
"If you actually hu-" She stopped, looking at Carter a bit confused by his expression. For the boy seemed completely blank, as if he wasn't even thinking. Furthermore that someone was thinking for him... Mind control. Ha, the idiot. Did Ace actually think such a trick could work? "Carter...?" She had to act as if she wasn't controlling the situation, if Ace knew she was it wouldn't work.

Ace smiled as he saw the blank expression on Carter's face. This was going rather splendid. Especially when he saw Jessica's reaction. It looked like she was concerned about Carter for not listening to her. All seemed well. But then, a thought hit him. Was Jessica just acting to be concerned, and was actually trying to put his mind back to normal? If she was, then Ace would be kicked out of Carter's mind and he would not be able to make them leave. Why was Jessica always like that? Always trying to backfire Ace's plans and make him feel like a complete loser. Well, it wasn't going to work this time. Instead of hearing her awful acting, Ace was only going to concentrate on Carter's feelings. That way, he could still manage to control his mind without Jessica interfering.

Katherine snapped her fingers in front of Carter face and began to whistle. "Yoohoo, Carter? Are you there? Why aren't you saying anything?" She asked, compleatly oblivious to the fact that Ace was controlling him, unlike Jessica. Katherine placed her hands on her hips and shook her head. "Carter you're such a weirdo."

"It's mind control, smart one." Jessica snapped in reply to Katherine as she stared at Carter in confusion. "Mister Ace, is trying to control Carter to do who knows what. Probably something perverted if you ask me..." She pointed out. "Though what silly little Ace doesn't know is that Carter here is probably much stronger than him." She then added, doing so much louder than her other comments. She was fully aware of the extent to Carter's powers, she could sense it easily. Besides, she knew she was stronger than Ace. In a battle when it came to minds she would surely win.

Ace continued to stay hidden behind the books. Hearing Jessica made him feel lousy and sour. At that moment, he knew that he did hate her. He hated her for being an annoying, lost soul that stalked on people who she called perverts. And didn't she promise that she would stay out of his life? Yet, she continued to follow him. She even told her two companions that she was trying to prove him wrong about his feelings towards her.
"Can you please just leave?" Ace thought to Jessica, causing him to stop controlling Carter's mind.

"What?" Jessica then said loudly in reply to Ace's thought, acting as if she had heard some random person speak from elsewhere. "It's seems as if someone is trying to talk to me, Katherine, but I really can't reply considering that I'm not allowed to talk to this person since I did make a promise to him. Then again I shouldn't be promising this guy anything considering he hates me for reasons I really don't know..."

"I'm not asking you to talk to me. I'm asking you to leave." Ace thought firmly, staring at Jessica to see what her reaction would be. Every second, she seemed to get even more annoying. Couldn't she just leave him alone already? What was he supposed to do to finally get her to leave him in peace?

The thoughts of Ace, crept into her mind as he directed them towards her, a smirk crossing her lips as they did so. The boy humored her, but also drove her crazy. If she thought of the entire situation as a game she would've been having fun, but unfortunately it involved her being hated, which was far from fun in her opinion.
She turned towards the boy, her eyes transfixed on him as he looked towards her. The distance between them probably best for him considering that she couldn't play tricks with him with him with her eyes with the currant distance. Though finally she spoke, her eyes still on the boy but her words directed to the others.
"You guys should go."
"What?!" Katherine protested, staring at Jessica in amazement. Why would she say such a thing. Did she want to be left alone with Ace, a.k.a. the person that was probably going to rape her?
However, Carter didn't respond so loudly, instead he looked at Jessica, observing her actions. Changing her mind was something he knew he couldn't do, and if she desired to do something he would let her as long as she would be safe. If the boy laid a hand on her he would kill him, simple as that. "Come on, Kat." Carter said to Katherine, grabbing her by the arm and beginning to drag the girl away.
"Don't call me that,Cartine!" Katherine snapped in reply.

"No, you have to leave too!" Ace thought loudly, almost shouting it from his mouth. Why did she tell the others to leave without her? Did she want them to be alone? Well, if she did, Ace was not going to deal with her. He wanted her out. . . now! Only, everything that he told her, Jessica had trouble cooperating. And communicating by mind made it even harder.

"What? No! I can't leave you Jessica you won't make it without me!" Katherine cried out trying to make Carter let go of her wrist.
"C'mon Katherine don't make me remove you by force." Carter sighed slightly, already use to Katherine's antics and stuborness.
"I'd like to see you try." Katherine replied glaring at him so hard it hurt her eyes.
"Okay. You asked for it." Carter told her shrugging. Suddenly Katherine was hoisted over Carter's shoulder, hanging over his back like a rag doll. Katherine immediatly began to punch him in his back since she couldn't move her legs.
"CARTER! Put me down right now before I burn you to death!" She yelled, still hitting him.
"Now I know you wouldn't do that." I think. Carter thought as he walked out of the library. Katherine continued to scream causing various people to look out from their books and stare, wondering if the girl was in need of help.
Though Carter just kept walking. It wasn't the first time he had to drag Katherine out of somewhere public.
