Areln was awake now and severely flushed. "Ukias, I.." he stuttered before trying to sit up, not realizing he was still under the bed, and banging his head hard on the wooden bars that hold the mattress up. "OW!" he said sitting back down and clutching his head.

It was too quiet, the teen realized suddenly, looking up and making a face. Lily sighed and set down her book, wondering where Arlen was, since he'd never come up to bed. Simply wanting noise, she wandered over to the stairwell, looking at the comm panel. She'd only seen it in use once, and wasn't entirely sure how to turn it on... guessing, she pushed a button, hoping the thing would work.

Arlen rubbed his head, wincing and still blushing. "It's alright, it's just I'm not used to beeing thanked like that unless it's from Lily and..." he trailed off not sure what to say.

*the comm panel lit up to a serious looking woman behind a desk* "and a startling recent development, the recent uprising of anti alliance sentiment has resulted in minor skirmishes in many small towns over gaia, mostly around alliance military bases. casualties have been light, but public opinion in favor of the alliance has fallen another 8%.." *this was accompanied by footage of alliance soldiers and civilians fighting, the civilians attacking, and the troops doing minimum to protect themselves, though most of the footage were of dead civilians*

With a rather dispassionate interest, Lily decided to forgo reading and sat down to watch, chin propped in her hand. The sight of dead bodies didn't faze her much, though the fighting scenes caused a look of disapproval to settle over her features. "People never learn..." she muttered sadly, shaking her head. "Always the same thing..."

If there was ever a compliment that would be given to Tomo, it was almost always about how cute he was. Words like sexy, hot, manly, and dashing were lost when it came to the catboy. Tomokazu stood in front of his mirror and flexed. He turned to the side and raised his arm for a few seconds. He sighed and pulled the back of his muscle shirt over the top of his tail, pulling it between his legs so he couldn't see it. After a few moments, he put his hand over his ears and tried to imagine what he would look like without them. He pulled his hair back in his fist and turned so that he could see the metal adapter his arm attached to. He leaned in and examined his face. There were the beginnings of a five 'o clock shadow, but nothing anyone would notice unless they felt his face. Maybe he would let that grow out a little. Tomo let his arm drop and sighed, looking behind him. His tail began to sway and he only glared, "This is all your fault, you know." he told it sternly.
