(thankfully, Lord Dracien found some protection from such red sky buisness with a small trip to the Temple of Ceclation.)

Far away in tesla, chaos was destroying the countryside, or most of it at the least. A small strip of land that bordered the sea was untroubled by the red sky. The strip of land encompassed all of one lord Dracien's property. A lot of changes had taken place in his small domain. Along the border, a six foot high stone wall stood, two paces wide. Along this wall a mass of mercenaries stood, lounging peacefully. As peacefully with them looking every possible way for incoming danger. They were payed to guard that wall, and that was what they did, but they were only the most apparent defense. Their main purpose was to defend the grey pillars that rose behind the wall every kilometer or so. Each one was blessed by Ceclation, or had been by a priest and created an active barrier against evil among other things. It was more than just a barrier though. Anything that passed through it's reach alerted the very heart of these grey stone pillars, in the center of Dracien's land. Everything came to a massive castle still in construction. Some walls were black, and others were white, made of some rare material that the lord had traded for, or raided. In the beginning there had been four castle's a good length apart, but Lord Dracien wouldn't stomach anything as simple as that. Archetects from all over came, willingly, or not, and began to build the massive thing. It had taken years of planning and gathering of materials to get it as far as it had gone. At the very heart of the castle was an alter against evil, a pillar bigger than all the rest. Around it, the perfectly clear water of the flowing rivers made a pool, which was surrounded by flowers and rare plants from the house of lily, and around those, artifacts and craftmanship from all over the world, made by the best and traded for less than it was actually worth.

Lord Dracien had built a fortress on the other side of the sea, against every order from the king, and against any opposition. He had done for only one reason, and that was to protect his people from any and every evil known.

Aisis was drenched in sweat, which was very unelegant of her. She had been out practicing all day long. She walked back into town and up the path back to the castle.

Aisis headed straight for the indoor spring and washed up there quickly. She had a towel around her shoulders as she came out to see Ayato in the hall. Ai dried her hair and looked at Ayato, "I didn't expect you back so soon, sir."

Aisis looked at him confused. What could it be that was so important he had to drag her out and far away from the castle. Her hair was still wet, and it was breezy outdoors. She stumbled a few times while being dragged along. Aisis pulled away and said, "You've been strange the moment I met you again. It's starting to worry me."

Aisis was startled when he suddenly looked at her, even more when he moved in unexpectedly. Before she knew it, she blacked out.

Katherine had slept badly once again and now paced in the courtyard on the garden side, still no scout and now to her knowledge no Ayato to tell her what had happened to Asami. She wore a cream colored gown that clung to her selender figure golden clips seemed to hold the dress together going down her sides. Her long golden hair ran freely down her back as always. Her arms were crossed it was past time that she looked for Asami herself, Matachi had said no the other day but not today. With that in mind she went back inside and put on a dark blue cloak pulling the hood up she left the castle.

Katherine wasn't there by then she had went on to the inn. Though a light voice Translation's persance came to Matachi as if it was on the wind itself What do you plan to do? He didn't mean what he meant to do about her being gone at the moment but what he meant to do about Illomeania.
