(Actually, one of the knives was thrown at katherine too. Just wanted to let you know.)
The general looked from Katherine to Alastor. Something was not right here. "Alastor. Please move away from katherine." The general asked threatingly. It was more a threat than a question despite what little he would actually do to the demi-god.

((Ugh, I thought she said something about them hitting other people that got in the way. Meh...))
Alastor only stumbled forward and ripped the knife out of his back. Throwing it to the ground, he looked up at Paradox. "Move now, giant. Or you will fall like the greatest tower." He told him, sounding genuine.

((this is more confusing then actually fun -.- tbh))
Matachi sees the dagger placing himself there between it, he shows a small bit of his power as he sends his arm up in a small burst of power that shatters the blade right in front of him. He doesn't speak after the metal bits hit the ground in a bad noise. He turns and follows Katherine out sick of all this nonsense people were causing.

(Well, it's not much of a problem. I hope I didn't ruin anything important.)
Paradox didn't move. "I am sorry, Alastor. It is part of my job to protect her, and I don't fall easily."He told the demi god, sadly. He held his staff like a qaurter staff pointing it at Alastor.
The man that had thrown the knives stopped and thought of a different apporach. He shrugged, and brought his last knife through a bystanders throat nearby, sending the people around him into a panic. "One more down, three to go." he said to himself. The plan with Alastor had not worked.

Alastor only shook his head and moved to go around Paradox. He wasn't about to he stopped by this towering man and he should have warped instead of walked. Mistakes, fun, he knew.

The general stuck out his staff in front of Alastor. It would seem a feeble resistance against Alastor, but it was stronger than it looked. "I can not let you pass. It is my duty as her General to protect her." Paradox said quietly. he didn't move any other part of his body other than the staff. He stood taller than Alastor by a good amount, but who knew what use that could be.

"You don't want to get into this. You have no idea what this is all about. I would advise you forget about it and be on your man." Alastor said, becoming quickly agitated at his resistance. Either he would pass or do it forcefully.

(I am really surprised that nobody shot that noble man. He was just plain annoying.)
the general didn't move. "Your advise is sound, but I think it is a little late for not getting into this, don't you think? I know that you have tried to kill Katherine. That's all I need." Paradox said firmly, but in a sad tone of voice, as if he really didn't want to be doing this. He, himself made no violent action to Alastor.

"I will not kill someone that is innocent. At least as you have made no violent reactions to me to warrant a reaction to myself. I will not forcibly remove you or try to kill you. Involving yourself was a bad idea in the first place. So was involving your followers. Any action against myself by any of them will stem out to you." Alastor spoke, a little more calmly, though he couldn't stick around. "Be that way. You cannot be in a place you don't know where I am." He said, his form shifting and twisting out until there was nothing.

Paradox mumbled something under his breath. "The same goes for you." It wasn't a threat. It was more of a fact. He watched Alastor go, unable to do anything about it. It was troubling that Alastor knew about his followers, and loyalists. He only had a few, but they were kept a close secret. He turned away from where Alastor had been, and walked away from the castle. He had other things to do. He had to find Mel. He left the Capital.

((stopping in to see what happend and leaveing a post.))
Later that night/day as Paradox was investigateing. His clues and such would lead him out into the forest were Mel's body had been found. Someone had been in a fight with her, she seemed to have gotten away with a nasty gash across her stomach and walked a good mile leaveing a trail of blood before she fell to the ground and then to her death. Nothing was on her body to give him anymore clues of anything. It was a cld trail, or so it seemed.

Matachi fell asleep in the library doing work, his crutch sitting by his desk. The elites do not move him they switched guard every few hours to watch him through the night.

Katherine woke to a light knok on her door a guest had arrived that morning. She dressed in a soft light green gown. She brushed out her long golden hair and started down stairs. She was stopped by other reports which she waved away from the time being heading down stairs.

Katherine came down stairs to the main hall where a woman sat waiting. She couldn't have been any older than 18. She had darker blonde hair, and soft green eyes. She wore a grand gown of dark green and gold.
She stod once she saw Katherine enter the main hall she gave a bow to her and Katherine smiled. Her soft fragile voice going out. "Dialh Brightblade?" The girl noded and handed her a piece of parchment.
Katherine glanced over it with a nod and welcomed her to the castle the girl's new home.

There was a shadow stlll stalking Katherine. He was still waiting for her to leave herself open until he struck. This was either going to be to the end of it or beginning of something new. He just watched her carefully.
